Perfect location in Schanzenviertel, bus stop right in front of the house, and U-bahn stop just ten minutes away. With a couple of excellent Turkish and Spanish restaurants on the way… far away from the tourist crowds. Spacious rooms with a good, comfy bed. It’s suuuper calm at night - this building has some serious sound insulation! Cool and unusual interior - for sure not everyone’s taste, but we liked it! Very friendly and welcoming staff. We’d definitely come back!

A little bit on the pricey side for a hostel. Yes, the double rooms do have hotel standard - but then you might want to upgrade the bathroom with a fan and shampoo/shower gel. We would have hoped for a little (beer) fridge in the room but that would just have been too good to be true!

Superbude is a very quirky hotel on the edge of St Pauli - a perfect location if one wants to have easy access to the plethora of great restaurants on that district but stay in a place that is calm and quiet. The hotel decor is very unusual and inspiring - the spirit of alternative and punk is everywhere translated into comfortable and memorable place. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable, the staff is extremely nice and helpful and breakfasts will keep you going all day.

Because Superbude is positioned as a hostel, it is not really a complaint but I missed having a kettle in the room to avoid going four floors down to get a glass of water or a tea.

We enjoyed our stay. As said in previous reviews, the retro gaming system went over well with our kiddo and in turn made the room more relaxing for the us parents. The breakfast was good as well. It wasn't a completely traditional breakfast but for delicious and the hotel is clearly making a large effort to reduce their carbon footprint. The location is so perfect for anywhere you want to travel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It definitely had a feel of getting together with friends. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a very nice vibe, the room was big and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home from the beginning. But was surprised us the most was the breakfast: very good price for a huge variety of products (the also have vegan options) We were sad that we could stay only 1 night and will be back for sure!

We didn’t like the beds, instead of one double bed we had two single beds joined, with a wooden border in etween that wasn’t that comfy

The overall stay was great: Very friendly staff Room was comfortable (especially the bed). The room itself is a good size Very silent so I slept like a baby Breakfast was great The location is quite good- walking distance to pubs and bars It was clean so I felt well taken care The lobbyarea has everything you might need (tea, bear, snacks for a small fee- great idea!)

Internet was not super strong. I had a meeting over teams and the call was slow. There is no proper table or chair to have a call. There was a funny smell so I had to ventilate the room a lot.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Gave us an upgrade - room with a nice city view and Nintendo! The location was good. The person at the reception was very kind and gave us many recommendations as it was our first time in Hamburg. Breakfast was also nice and the we loved the fact that we could make warm waffles in the morning.

Very clean and spacious room, my friend esp likes the rain shower. Upon our arrival with a dog, staff prepared in advance a food bowl with some dog treats in the room, we are so impressed and feel it really worths the extra charge for pet! Staff are extremely friendly, I love them all :-) Location is super, in a very hip area. We are vegetarians so really like that there are lots of good vegan restaurants around.

Location is really good in an area with lots of bars/restaurants/breakfast places. Hotel has a good place to hang out at end of day for a drink/rest/read. Short cycling distance from old town center, speicherstad etc. Very helpful staff. We did not do breakfast in hotel, there are plenty places nearby.

Shower was a bit of an awkward thing with only a waterfall shower fitted at 3mtrs high, nothing to place your shower stuff and a slip slide floor. Beds where more than firm. No airco so high summer this might be warm, there is a fan. Carparking is near non existant , so plan ahead, Parking garages are walking distance . There is load unload parking present behind the hotel and a lockable bike shed.

For us we could have used extra pillows but we never asked... Felt really hot with the bedding and with no sheet only option we removed the duvet inner and that worked!
