The hotel and location are perfect if you're travelling along the A2 motorway and need a break. This is the second time we stayed here as it is close to the motorway with easy access and plenty of parking available, albeit additional charges apply. Dogs are welcome at the hotel and also welcome in the restaurant at breakfast, which was ideal with our needy dog. Plenty of choice for breakfast and will suit all sorts of diets, even KETO with its chia pudding 😁 The staff are lovely both in the reception and restaurant! The room was nice and clean. We will definitely come back again next year.

That there was no option for room service. We arrived at 2205 and the kitchen closed at 2200. Had to spend over 20 euros on a greasy pizza from Deliveroo where a cold meat/cheese platter would've been ideal. Missing remote which couldn't be replaced was a slight issue. Would've been good to occupy the early risers!

Staff was very nice. Great price to performance ratio and so one can’t complain about paying for parking (which you need a ticket to go in and out. As a heads up, it shares the parking lot with another hotel). Nice pool in the summer for kids.

Parking was easy and close but there were not any checkin in parking spots so it was a little hard to know what to do or where to park the first time.

The hotel room was adequetly sized to a four person family, and the beds were very comfortable! For the prize it was excellent!

Some of the construction work needs a small runover, like the paintjob in the halls, and the staircase tiles were coming loose.

Young man at reception wasn’t very pleasant, was messing about with covid vaccination. I have shoved him vaccination passport but for some reason he said it’s not good enough. Finally he accepted it I had to prove this is the correct document and it’s has been accepted everywhere else. Gave me and my family a bit of stress wasn’t nice at all 😒 Me and my family (7years boy) had a long journey and was ready for a good rest not arguing over covid passport

Well presented, good location, clean, warm and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff.

Sent a few messages direct to the hotel via the booking.com message service and never received any response from the hotel. Eventually had to call the hotel directly.

There are no facilities for disabled people. For example: shower instead of bath. It was so hard for my husband to get into the bath and to get out the bah was a nightmare. We have been told that the hotel hasn't got any room properly prepared for disabled people. Apart from this, everything was fine.

Breakfast and breakfast staff were amazing! We had an adjacent room with other family members and were able to meet in the large restaurant area to spend time together.

Staff at Hotel Mercure are amazingly friendly and helpful. This is our favourite new family hotel with the most delicious hotel buffet breakfast! We will be back.

Exceptional service from the staff. We had a late-night check-in after driving all day. The staff recommended food delivery services as well as local restaurants that we could walk to to eat at. Based on their information we chose a local Greek restaurant. They called ahead for us to find out when the kitchen would be closing, as well as ask if we could bring our dog along. Exceptional service, especially as we could not converse in our basic German as fluently as the staff could so we appreciated them calling on our behalf. We chose the hotel as we needed a quick detour from the motorway which would allow us to sleep for the night but not add time to our journey onwards to Denmark. Bonus: Covid testing station in walking distance of the hotel. We were able to get tests so we could travel to Denmark freely.

There was a strong odour in the hallway and lift. On the other hand, our room smelled fine.

Friendly staff, outside pool, restaurant, delicious breakfast.

The building is not new and you can see it from the outside and in some places inside, but in general it’s ok. Also the value for the money is doubtful (the room+breakfast+parking).
