I arrived later than planned - that was after midnight. There was someone at reception who was very welcoming and explained about access to the room and getting a hot drink and water at that time of night. The bed was very comfortable, the place was very quiet and being able to stay til midday was helpful.

Breakfast was expensive so I didn't have it. It would have been nice if there was a choice- e.g. a croissant and coffee for breakfast at a lower price than 17 euros. I'm not sure whether it says on the website which line to take from the main station and that there's a metro stop 5 minutes from the hotel. That would be helpful to know.

Our second visit within six months!! We find the location excellent as we always come by car. Free street parking straight outside the hotel is so convenient. The tram is within a 5-minute walk and takes us straight to Lister Meile or Hannover Central in 4/5 stops. Always friendly, obliging staff to greet us. The breakfast buffet was generous and fresh.

The rooms have extremely high ceilings, which was pleasant in the summer, when we were last here. However, it is difficult for the central heating to warm such a big space. It was rather cold in the room despite the heating being turned up as high as possible.

Very comfortable room with mega-high ceilings and windows, an excellent firm bed, and a great shower. There is a brand new kitchenette in the room itself, but you need to hire the utensils, etc. from reception if you plan on cooking. We paid a deposit on a kettle, which was refunded on departure. Located in a really quiet side street, within a 5 minute walk to Pelikan Tram stop, which is 5 stops to Central Station. A well-stocked supermarket and bakery are also nearby. Christian, from reception, was wonderful. It was a great stay.

Pillows were way too soft and only one each.

We loved the history of the building and the decor. It felt clean and modern whilst respecting the history. The room was amazing. Number 408 with exposed beams on the loft. The room was excellent with separate area with a bed, lovely and spacious. We used the kitchen area. The room was warm and quiet and the shower fasting flowing. Complimentary shower products were a bonus. Reception staff were helpful , accommodating, friendly and knowledgable. Whilst the location is 4 tram stops from the centre it’s a pleasant walk on a dry day. If you stay here worth visiting the Pelikan museum and we visited the VW museum in Wolfsburg. Great value for money. Overall we Highly recommend.

Weirdly the taps in our kitchen area did not turn on. Wasn’t a problem though. The Gym area was closed.

The place is located in a quite area of Pelikanviertel in Hannover. It is easy to reach by tram, less than 10 min from the Central Station. The building is huge and the rooms are big. What I really loved was the height of the walls. There was a huge window in the room and I loved it. A small kitchen is available if you pay a fee. They provide you the utensils for a refundable fee of 20 euros.

I can not think about something bad. My only suggestion is about the bed. Since our bed was not a double bed, but 2 single beds together, it would be good to leave them attached to prevent surprises during the night. After some time falling in between, we found out there is a lock to keep the beds together.

- Very friendly and helpful staff - I could store my luggage before check-in which was really convenient - Interesting and very cozy style - Location is good, not very far from the city center - If you are a fan of Pelikan this is the place to be. ;-) It is close to their little museum / shop and historically it is where Pelikan has been located - Delicious breakfast & good coffee - The rooms even have a (mini) kitchen which is great for a prolonged stay

- The day I arrived was rainy and cold. It would have been great if the heating had been turned on in advance. The room was very cold but the heating was functioning properly, so it got warm relatively quickly. I think this is something you could do for the pleasure and comfort of your guests. ;-) - It is fair enough that one is asked if she/he needs another pillow or blanket at the reception but at the same time it is a bit ridiculous that the wardrobe is completely empty. Would it have been so problematic to leave a spare pillow and blanket there anyway?! - As mentioned in my positive remarks there is a kitchen where you can cook food which is great! However, there is not a single fork or knife and one needs to ask for everything at the reception.

The room was a good size and comfortable, with kitchen facilities but no plates or cooking utensils - these need to be requested. Breakfast was pretty good by Getman standards. They have a small bar in the lobby that opens each night. Staff were attentive and helpful.

Shower was pretty bad, so small it was difficult to wash without bumping into the tap or the curtain. The hotel is very large and obviously popular with conference groups, so there are many guests in groups which can become a little annoying. On our floor it even seemed like families were in residence across multiple rooms. Not really a problem, but very different from usual hotels.

The facilities are superb! They even have a Sherlock Holmes theme in the rooms (I don't want to ruin the surprise so I won't give any details!). It is also close to the U-bahn Station and thus easily accessible from the main train station. I was an amazing experience and I would definity recommend it.

The location at night seemed a tiny bit dark and shady. But it is something minor.

The breakfast was very good. (We just missed the scrambled egg :-)) The neighborhood is beautiful, there are green areas, shops and restaurants. Also close to Eilenriede which is a big forest in Hannover. We were glad that our dog was accepted. This was a great help. We got a bed and a bowl for our dog. Thank you for it!

It was rather hot in Hannover during our visit. Therefore an air conditioner would have been good
