From the moment we arrived at this hotel, we were impressed by the pro-active and incredibly accommodating staff. Right at check-in, we received extensive tips and information about leisure activities and attractions in the area, which immediately made us feel welcomed and well-informed. The room was very spacious and included its own kitchen, along with a separate sitting and dining area. One aspect that stood out was the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the room. It contributed significantly to the overall comfort of our stay, making it easy to unwind and feel at home after a day of exploring. The highlight for many would undoubtedly be the view – it was absolutely fantastic. Our room boasted a lake view and featured a private terrace directly on the lake, which we found to be incredibly serene and beautiful. In terms of décor, the furnishings and equipment weren't particularly fancy or stylish, but everything was relatively new and in excellent condition. Importantly, both the room and bathroom were immaculately clean, which we greatly appreciated. While we would have enjoyed a more modern or chic aesthetic in the room, the cleanliness, comfort, practical amenities, and cozy atmosphere more than made up for it. In summary, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Between the exceptional staff, spacious and cozy accommodations, and breathtaking views from our own private terrace, we couldn’t have asked for more. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay with outstanding service.

The WiFi connection proved to be somewhat unreliable during our stay, which posed an inconvenience at times. Additionally, while the bed was comfortable for one of us, I personally experienced some back pain in the morning, potentially due to the mattress. However, this wasn't an issue for my partner, so it might be a matter of personal preference or sensitivity.

The location right on the lake was amazing. We really enjoyed the little garden on the lakefront and the restaurant. the room was quite spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. the breakfast room is open to views of the lake, the food is fresh, there's a lot of choice and we especially want to mention the lady who works at the breakfast room - Connie - who was very attentive, very friendly - thank you!

Our room was on the third floor with no elevator which is a bit of a bummer. Also there are no nets on the windows and in the evening there is a mosquito attack, if you don't close the windows in time

Nice location. Breathtaking view from the cafe into the lake. A very friendly lady at the breakfast: I was late to the breakfast, but was still allowed to eat it and they also let me take a tray with food to my wife who was still sleeping.

It's a bit annoying to have to walk through the street to breakfast in winter.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. The hotel and the restaurant are lovely and unique, with an amazing view. The fish was superb, it’s really fresh as it's literally from the lake next to the hotel. There’s a lot of historical content going on as well. We stayed in a nice big room with a lake view.

We had to pay extra because originally we booked the view of the Mountains and that room didn't have any view. So we suggest being very careful if you make a booking with the view of the mountains.

Absolutely amazing place. Kind people, superb breakfast, wonderful location. The breakfast is excellent and the spa is comfortable, beautiful and relaxing. The staff their did above and beyond. I was so happy there. It was perfect. 10/10 I will be coming back with friends or family. Highly Recommend.

The gentleman in the reception was super helpful. He took care of all my requests immediately and he was very kind. Direct access to the lake from Sauna area is amazing! One can jump into the cold lake right after sauna.

Sauna area is a little too small. There is only one small sauna and the steam room was closed during my stay. Nevertheless it did the job because there were not too many guests.

staff was very friendly and gave us great advices on things to do nearby. restaurant was good. the view from the room was absolutely amazing! would recommend.

only negative is that housekeeping entered our room twice before checkout.

Beautifully located at Kochelsee which makes for stunning sunset views at dinner at the hotel restaurant.

This property was right on the lake and you are able to use there row boat to go out on the water. We also enjoyed using the bus passes to go do the cable car ride up the mountain. The hospitality is amazing! The drinks and food were great!

Staff was very friendly and welcoming - restaurant was a very pleasant surprise w the level of their food. Cute little town.
