Great location right next to the Cathedral and a short walk to the river and other key tourist sites. Our room offered a great view of the Cathedral. Would recommend as a business trip hotel as it is exactly what is required for a business trip.

Beds were 2 single beds to form a double and the duvets were the same. Our visit coincided with a gaming convention which resulted in hotel prices being increased significantly so would not say it was the best value for money at the time (though was much more affordable than other hotels so perhaps they should be forgiven!)

Comfortable and clean room in excellent location. Our balcony had a great view of the cathedral. It's worth asking for or booking one of these rooms. Fantastic breakfast can be purchased if it's not included in your room. It's worth doing at least one morning of your stay.

Our room was smaller than it seemed in the photos. It was still comfortable but just a little squeezy for the person on the window side of the bed and you had to be careful not to kick the step leading to the balcony if you get out of bed in the dark at night.

Location is excellent to city attractions. The cathedral is a stones throw away. We wnet for the Christmas Markets and there was a small market right across the street that was open a little later and great for a late night snack. The train station is about a two minute walk. If you are approaching from the station, walk around the back side of the Cathedral, walk down the ramped area, stay to the lower sreet level cross the street to the right and walk under the museum. Take a right at the next corner and you are there! It is up on the left. Really close.

The entrance steps are a little daunting with heavy luggage. I saw several folks struggling to get their bags up and down. Seems trivial at this point.

Absolutely loved the location of this hotel! (exceeded our expectations). Our room had a view directly facing a Christmas market which was so beautiful and festive for our Christmas stay. You could hear the Christmas music playing from the room which was delightful. The room was a great size and the beds were very comfy. No faults with the bathroom either. The location of the hotel was really close to a range of Christmas markets and the Rhine river.

The hotel breakfast buffet was more on the expensive side

The location was superb. Friendly reception staff. Especially David on front desk. The room was clean and comfortable.

The pillows were awful. So soft and made sleeping really difficult. It was a large square pillow & even folding it in half was not enough. We asked for a firmer pillow via reception. We were given another square pillow the same. On check out we did tell reception and David informed us that firmer pillows were available. He was very apologetic that we didn’t get what we asked for.

We loved our room with a beautiful view of the Cathedral and a balcony. The breakfast was exceptional and the service was excellent. The location was right next to the Cathedral and many good restaurants and shops. The front desk allowed us to check in a little early and was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel in a great area in Cologne!

I would recommend not allowing smoking right outside the front door. It is so unpleasant for non smokers to have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get into the Hotel.

We picked this hotel because it is conveniently located for train travel. We arrived from London on the Eurostar and stayed for one night, enroute to our final destination of Switzerland. The hotel is modern in decor, the beds are comfy, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. All in all, this is a lovely hotel. We were sorry to be not staying longer in Cologne, but Switzerland beckoned.

It was dark when we arrived in Cologne, so it was a bit tricky meandering around and through the cathedral-adjacent streets to find the hotel. This was not the fault of the hotel, only an observation of this traveler.

The location.

There was only one pillow for each person which collapsed to nothing. Ridiculous to have to make a request to the manger. No tea or coffee making facilities on arrival in the room. All hotels have these facilities. No iron in the room. Very poor when you have to ask for some decent pillows, and the rest......This is not a cheap hotel. It was very disappointing. The gentleman serving the drinks in the afternoon spent too much time talking and amusing people and not paying attention to other people waiting for drinks.

I was at another Hotel in another town and it was horrible. I called City Class because I had a room booked for the next day with them. They got me in a room that night. We drove over to City Class and they were warm and welcoming. The Manager and staff were AMAZING!!! If I had to rate the staff from 1-10 I would give them a 20!!! Super helpful and kind. The room was nice and really clean. We had a beautiful view of the Cathedral. The breakfast was the best breakfast we have had so far. They had a lot of fruit options. I loved the location, right across the street from the Cathedral and lots to restaurants around the corner. I will tell all my friends to book here. I highly recommend!!

I loved everything.

Excellent location as it is very near the Koln Dom and all central amenities are walking distance including the train station. Breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable. The hotel has been refurbished in the last few years as this is the 5th time we went and it now looks new.

Since we have been there for many times, we have seen some reduced small items compared to before. There is no coffee machine in the room and we didn't find any slippers and robes. Also, although these were extra, before there used to be small extras like grapes and small Dom souvenirs. I'm not complaining on these, but they were small extra touches that made the hotel extra special which are now not offered.
