The location of the hotel was amazing, really convenient and beautiful. Secondly, the breakfast was very rich and tasty, so many options to choose from. The spa was nice and relaxing, but the rooftop pool could have been bigger. The staff was always helpful and nice. Room was clean and spacy.

The rooftop terace and pool were lovely however, you need to be naked there as it was nude swimming. The problem was that there are houses around so people can see to the terrace. Another negative aspect is that there is no parking at the hotel, but they offer remote parking (only 10min walk) which is really small.

Super location directly at Lindau port. Really nice Wellness according to the space possibilities of the hotel. Big roof sauna. Parking is expensive but worth to pay it, because it was also possible to park the bikes. Comfortably close to hotel. Breakfast was high quality and nicely arranged. Nice cheese selection. Prosecco available. Staff was super fast and friendly to serve the coffee.

During our 7 nights stay there was no change in the variety of the breakfast. Noisy during the night due to location. Not possible to sleep with open window. But can be solved by closing the window that is well isolated.

Our stay at hotel Helvetia was a really lovely experience. The attention to detail was outstanding. The location directly at the harbor with view to the lighthouse, the tower and the lion-monument from our room was incredibly beautiful. The infinity pool is relatively small, suitable for one - two couples at the same time maximum and a mindful occupation is recommended. Long breakfast hours, the quality of the food and finally, the check out time (11.30 AM) were unusually generous. We got a little good bye lunch packet on our way out. The restaurant food had some excellent dishes (great location directly at the harbor front), in our opinion too slanted towards meat. This is an excellent hotel with character.

When we arrived, there was a dog bed, blanket and bowls for our pet, which was really nice! Our room was also very nice, quiet and clean with a comfy bed. The breakfast spread was amazing with a lot to choose from, even gluten free and lactose free options. The hotel was in the best location. You can walk everywhere, since Lindau is very small. If you arrive by car, make sure you book the parking in advance, because I think there are limited spots.

We did a late booking, so our room had no lake views, only a view into a small, quiet alley, but still very quiet. This is not a complaint! But I will book a lake view next time !

The hotel has the best location you could wish for Lindau, with the beautiful view to the harbor, lake and mountains. Being vegetarian, breakfast sometimes can be an issue. Here it was better than expected, you can make your fresh juice from apple, carrot, celery, ginger and there were even vegan spreads for the bread. Got a great recommendations for lunch with wide vegetarian options. The Spa lounge area has a stunning and relaxing view to the lake, same as the sauna on the rooftop. If you are foreigner be aware in Germany and also in this hotel the rooftop area (sauna & mini pool) is textile free.

Would recommend to include some fresh salad leaves or greens for the breakfast.

Perfectly located, nice rooms and restaurant, very comfortable spa, wellnesss, sauna, hotel staff at reception desk, sea views from many rooms (its worth to choose a room with a view), very dog friendly (at extra cost)

Booking process with hotel for added features, communication with hotel, parking situation, overall the hotel is really brilliant but many of the staff are not up to the quality you expect from such a nice house. Despite that, you can really relax and enjoy every minute. The house is much more expensive than others with almost same quality, but this has best wellness, restaurant and lake views!

First class service from staff the moment I entered! Complementary beer on arrival too! Great facilities the gym, steamroom, wellness areas and pool were excellent. The roof top sauna and infinity pool with amazing views of the lake and island is the crowning glory of the hotel. Amazing variety of breakfast selection best breakfast of my whole travels by far!!!

The unbeatable location in the centre of the waterfront. The world’s best view from a sauna, no question! Breakfast buffet included whole prize-winning cheeses with a shovel and a fork to help yourself. It sounds wrong but it was so right! And every member of the staff was unfailingly helpful and a friend to every guest. Delightful in every way. Well done to the owners and their amazing team.

Large, clean room. Excellent breakfast! Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, within walking distance to old town, pier and train station.

No air conditioning! Too small of area for fabric free relaxation on roof. Not a good value for the money but with all things considered still a fantastic hotel.

We liked the room very much. We stayed in the swiss mountain suite. You have a great view over the harbour and the promenade. There was an event during the afternoon and a jazz band was playing directly in front of the window of our room. we just sit there the whole afternoon listening on that great chill out chairs in our room with a great vip view on that stage in the panoramic scenery of the harbor. Very unique experience. I also liked the roof top sauna and the infinity pool. The breakfast was great as well. There were lots of things you do not usually find in hotels beginning with the mixer to produce your custom fresh fruit/ vegetable juices for breakfast or the complete real honey comps to get fresh honey from.

You need to walk for approx. 20 min along the beautiful see front to get to the parking space you can book with your room. It would be an improvement if the hotel offers valet parking and they would bring your car to the hotel door.
