The room was amazing, facilities were very useful. Our room had a dishwasher, and a washing machine/drier, which was very convenient as this was our last accommodation before heading back home. Location was very good, close to public transport and shops. Free gym access as well as sauna and swimming pool ( we didn't get to use this as we went in February and it is outdoors). The studio room was the perfect size for a couple to stay for a few days, having a kitchen was a big bonus as we could cook our own meals before heading out.

Nothing, everything was perfect

The room, kitchen and dishwasher was a big plus for me.

The AC starts working unexpectedly and it's very loud trying to ventilate the room when heating is on. Personal was not able to solve this problem and suggested me another room. However, I didn't want to spend two more hours moving my things. Fortunately I saw the thermostat near the door and just set ventilation to the lowest level.

WunderLocke is located about 20 minutes from Munich’s city center, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is nestled in a charming neighborhood with easy access to public transport. Our apartment was spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with a cozy, home-like feel. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook simple meals and enjoy breakfasts at our own pace, which was especially nice on colder mornings. The living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, with a comfortable sofa and a TV with plenty of channels. The bedroom was warm and inviting, with a comfortable bed to rest after our busy days. The apartment's modern design, with wooden floors and clean lines, made it a very pleasant space to return to. The apartment had everything we needed for a cozy and independent stay, and the staff were helpful and welcoming. If you’re looking for a more relaxed and affordable option while still being close to Munich’s attractions, this is a fantastic choice.

The room lighting is quite low, and the bathroom shower is positioned too close to the heater rack.

Stunning & very aesthetic hotel! Wow! The room was modern and had all the necessities (including a washer/DRYER). The beds were extremely comfy and they supplied a great amount of pillows. Hotel offered other things we didn't end up using (heated pool, sauna, restaurant), wish we stayed in Munich longer so we could explore it more. Good location to public transport, less than 5min walk to Aidenbachstrabe station to take you into the city centre.

The mezzanine level where my parents slept, well you couldn't stand upright. Luggage had to stay downstairs cause there was no way you could lug them up, there was plenty of floor space but not safe to get the suitcases up there given you couldn't stand upright.

Room is warm which is just what we need since we are visiting during winter season. Kitchen amenities is given. full set, not to mention TV, washing machine, ironing board and dish washer are all available for guests perusal. They do know how to make one feels like home. No complains at all, any additional request could contact them via WhatsApp during the stay, and they would send things to your room in minutes. Our trip was very good mainly because the stay was wonderful, we had an amazing vacation! Oh and their gym and yoga classes are free, room is also equipped with yoga mat!

What to not like about haha

The general atmosphere of the place is great, they offer many different activities to help you stay active during visits, the computer working area is great, staff was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment was great, I loved the design. Internet was fast, and the utilities available went above expectation. The washing machine was certainly a surprise, even though I didn't use it, there was no need.

The apartment is not fun to sit in and work. The available furniture will just not do, the tables are tiny, stools incredibly uncomfortable for prolonged sitting. It's ok for a quick session, for anything longer you have to move to the common area. Public transport is plentiful, but beware - you only get U2 and S7 available, so plan ahead and invest in day-ticket.

The Facilities are great, the building is contemporary and very accessible. The staff are super friendly, thank you to Lea she was amazing always attentive. Even the rest of the front desk are all cool and friendly. The rooms are nicely designed and kitchen facilities are great, everything is needed is there and great quality. We just found it super comfortable and we will always come back.

The breakfast is extremely poor in choices and quality. (However the coffee and hot chocolate was good) The cleaning was just done once in our 11 days stay, we wish it was done at-least every other day. However, whatever we needed like tissues or toilet paper or cleaning/detergents was given to us we had no problems with providing the cleaning items. The location is great. However it takes 2 train rides (changes) to reach to the main train station. Not a big deal but must be mentioned. Thank you Wunderlocke

Don't have robes for pool

Spacious rooms with everything you could need (everything from a washing machine and kitchenette to independent heating/cooling, hanging space for clothes, and communal benefits like sauna and gym). We had the 2 bed apartment and it was very spacious. It’s also a couple of minute walk from the underground train station for U3 direct to Marienplatz.

The couch was the least comfortable I’ve ever sat on and wasn’t really big enough for more than 2 or 3 people, and while I knew it was out of the city centre (which was easily accessible by public transport), there really is not much around - at night it was pretty dead in the neighbour and aside from the (expensive but good) on site restaurant there wasn’t anywhere to go eat or drink.

It was a really great value considering 3 nights in a 2BR, 2BA cost me less than 2 nights in other cities. The place was modern and my family of 2 adults, 2 teens had plenty of space. Everything worked great, the views from the apartment are amazing, and because my apartment room was in a top corner of the building, we didn't hear any noises. The Hoffmanstrasse entrance/exit to the Aidenbachstrasse subway station is literally a 3 minute walk from the building (much closer than online maps indicate). The area is more industrial, but certainly not run down at all.

It was a fantastic value and we liked everything, but the common area in the room is a bit tight. The room is long but narrow with a large patio, so it's bedroom, bathroom, common area, bathroom, bedroom. The couch doubles as dining room seating, and it sits very low to the table, which is awkward. Obviously, the hotel is south of all the markets, but public transportation in Munich is a breeze.
