Central position, nice common spaces with tea coffee cups ... , clean shared bathrooms, in general very clean

Old big windows that did not allow tilting, the street in front of the hotel was noisy in the morning

The staff was welcoming and allowed us to store our bags before the rooms were ready. The location is central in town, which makes it initially hard to reach from the train station, but also allowed easy access to central Passau. The best part is the enclosed courtyard garden in the back, which has a giant rock wall (I did not get its origin) and a little table that is perfect for having a drink and conversation.

It can be a challenge to carry your bags up the multiple flights of stairs. The room was very warm at night (and this was early May) and when I opened the window the breeze was nice - but there was a lot of noise from the street, which made me close the window. The central location can be busy at night!

The room was nicely decorated, comfortable, and the staff were pleasant. Location was very convenient and walkable.

Trying to find the washrooms for the first time up a small flight of stairs at night was a bit awkward, and one of them was rather cramped.

Room was good at the top of several flights of stairs with separate private bathroom. Location in middle of old town is excellent. Breakfast (paid extra) across the road cafe was excellent.

Keypad entry system was a bit quirky; (Push the door hard as you can as you enter the last digit.)

The street front entrance is very discreet and we walked right past it initially. So you need to be observant. But once you know, it’s not a problem.

The position is exellent, right in the city center. Room are big and the bed confortable. There is little but really cute internal garden where to spend some hours chilling and hearing voices of the people as sourrunding music.

The only down side is that the toilet are in common and little too small, but this is not a real limit of this place. Little thing: the reception is not always open but only in certain time and there will be a lovely woman to serve you.

Location was great. We arrived early evening so the staff had already left, however we received detailed info in advance on how to open front door, get key etc. It worked well. Few rooms on each floor made it seem private even though you had to share toilet and bath.

Right in the old town, cafes and shops on doorstep. Large room. Staff helpful and friendly

Entrance not obvious as the sign (laminated printed sheet) had faded. Street noise at night into early hours if you open windows, hard to avoid due to location. Private separate bathroom was about 25 metres away at the end of the corridor, on reflection ensuite would be better. It was OK though.

Central location, building with atmosphere, very clean (room and common areas as toilet and bathroom), you can make tea or coffee there for free, very easy check in

Shared bathroom is a bit annoying, at least a water tap in the room would be fine but they give you mineral water for free so that’s fine
