Very clean. Lovely friendly staff. Great breakfast. Lovely view as Jugendherberge on a hill. Good public transport
Got wrong check in time sent- train was very delayed so got stressed out as was not sure that I would make it until 23.30- until I rang the Jugendherberge and they reassured me that reception was open 24 hours! A lot of walking involved in getting to room- maybe not so suitable for people that cannot walk very well unless they have a wheel chair- lifts available. Jugendherberge is on a steep hill- best to get there by U-bahn or taxi- not so good if you want to walk there but downhill is ok!

I would stay there always in my travels to Stuttgart. The location is amazingly cool, maybe the best area in the Stuttgart. The reception personal is always on the place, polite and helpful. The food is fresh, the views from the windows are totally impressive!
It was just a small thing (which didn't impact on the total impression). There is no towels in the room. That was a bit not comfortable to go for them on reception desk. It would be better that towels would have been included in the price or possible to have them for money later, but they were in the room.

It's a hostel, so you get basic room with bathroom. Bathroom facilities were well thought-out, separate toilet, shower and sink. So if you shared the room with friends, you wouldn't be blocking bathroom. Bistro and common area welcoming and with great views toward town. Location also great. You can walk down in 10-15 minutes to city centre and if you don't mind stairs, you can walk up or take U-bahn 15. There's a viewing points a bit above the hostel and by the U-bahn stop. I took line 15 to the TV Tower and walked down through woods and along the road to take pictures of Stuttgart. I would certainly consider staying again if its suits my requirements. I previously stayed near Mercedes Benz Museum in Hilton and Le Meridien near train station. Obviously different class of hotels, but I think hostel was pretty good too.
There wasn't anything in particular that I didn't like.

The location is nice. Stuff kind and open. I am not funn of to lieve a comment I usually never did that. But I was here 2 nights and there wasn't a question for me. The first room was a little bit noisy with waterpipe, and had a little bit a smell, and I have asked for changing. And stuff changed. Breakfast included, to be honest quait normal you have a weraity of choice it's important. Usually I had my breakfast in the balcony with nice view on Stuttgart. There is also a dinner if you want 8 euros, not a big deal to be honest. Actually there was also interteiments like billiards, a big screen to wath football many place just sitting around inside and out side and something else. There is a locker room as well you can lieve your staff there when it's time for check out like I did. From time to time I used a hostel but this is special one.I have no questions, thanks!
One of the room were I was, has a special small, but after changing the room it was ok. Maybe it's a time to refresh a little bit some of the rooms.

I loved the view of the city upon arriving at the entrance—it was majestic. I arrived an hour early, and my room was ready, so I could settle in right away. I had a great sleep because the bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the hall were top-notch, though my stay was short, so I didn’t get a chance to experience them fully. The staff were friendly, which made my stay even better when it was time to check out.
The stairs leading to the hostel were quite dark at night, which made me a little scared when returning after exploring the town. But during the day, they were beautiful.

Private room was clean, confortable, good shower, good wifi Location near a tram to the main train station and city center Breakfast is a big plus! Lot of choices, it was included. There is also a bar and a restaurant with very low prices for dinner (less than 10e) Reservation is mandatory I think There are board games in the bar
A lot of student / kids so very noisy but that's also part of the deal ;) Just you should know the acoustic works very well in the corridors Check-in and out is slow

Breakfast - buffet style, good variety, warm and mostly fresh. Beds & room - clean, warm, comfortable, good view and good light-blocking curtains. Beds have good-sized blankets which gave me enough room to move. Facilities - easy to navigate, clean and well sign-posted. Had many games and entertainment options for groups. Variety of seating options available. Location - beautiful views of the city, warm inside and easy enough to find (use their instructions about the bus, do not make your life difficult and climb the stairs). Very close to fantastic art museum and opera house/theatre. Staff - very helpful and informative, quite attentive.
Breakfast - my boiled egg way over-cooked (egg yolk was blue-green and a bit sulphur-y). Bedroom - no plugs by the bed or in the cupboards (only plugs at desk in room and in bathroom area). Other than those two things, I had an absolutely wonderful time!

The lights on the hill are enchanting by nighttime and the hostel is very close to Eugensplatz and the public transport. Then the view onto the city is astonishing 🍀 My bed was already made and had the best sheets. And kind roomies. Plus there was shampoo in the shower that smelled delish. :) The breakfast was very very good and had a lot of vegetables. I wish there had been a bit of lettuce too.🥙🥚 The lady and the African employees at breakfast worked very hard. The African especially made me a warm gluten-free bread. 🥖

Great staff, great location, very clean, great facilities, breakfast was really good and I would recommend.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable in the world, but wasn't the worst. This isn't a huge deal, but they took the breakfast away early one day and put lots of food in the bin while people were still turning up for breakfast, which had 45 minutes to go until closing. Was a bit weird binning lots of food in front of lots of people who had paid to eat it.

The hostel has a fantastic view of Stuttgart city. It’s also close to the Waldorf school, where we had a conference, so the location was perfect for our trip. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the hostel from the train station/ city centre, with some steep steps, so for some travelers this might not be an ideal location.
