The location of the Hotel Kronio is excellent -- it's easy to find, and is a short and pleasant walk to the Olympic site and all the town's amenities. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view. The hotel has parking, in a shaded orange grove, which was fantastic in spring (we were there in late March). The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, with superb English, providing a map of the town and recommendations for dinner (Taverna Orestis), which we followed and were very pleased with. The buffet-style breakfast was good, and extra items (e.g., hot chocolate for the younger members of the party) were offered (and accepted). The hotel kept our bags safe between us checking out and leaving, and we would definitely book Hotel Kronio for a return trip.

Hotel Kronio more than met my expectations. The only comment I can find is that the lift is perhaps rather small, but this did not detract from our experience.

We liked Hotel Kronio the moment we walked in. The owner was very welcoming and congenial. He gave us a recommendation for an excellent nearby taverna (Orestis - safe for celiacs, too if you tell the owner you're gluten-free), told us about an app that we can download about Olympia's archeological site, and even lent us a guide book. The next day when we checked out, he asked us what our next destination was (Nauplio), and took the time to recommended a route and sites to see along the way. The room fit four of us comfortably and the documentary about the site was a nice touch. Hotel Kronio is just steps away from the Olympia archeological site and museum and has a very nice breakfast with a lot of options in a pleasant dining room.

Location is right at the beginning of the pedestrian zone (less than 10 minutes walk to the gates of the ancient site), easy to find opposite of the church, parking place for guests. Spacious and comfortable rooms (one had a silent fridge), furnitured balconies, quiet and very clean. Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

It would be great to offer breakfast already from 7:30 o’clock (instead from 8 o’clock) in summer, in order to make it possible to be at the ancient site when gate opens at 8 o’clock.

The check in process was very easy and the concierge / proprietor was friendly and informative. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and found this to be one of my best experiences despite our short stay.

Not much comes to mind; we had a car parking space provided beneath the trees which allowed the car to stay cool but I noticed some bird poop on one of the wing mirrors, not really a deal breaker! The bath was a bit narrow but again I’m fairly large so not really their problem.

What an unexpected surprise! Hotel Kronos far exceeded my expectations for any stay. The hotel owner is extremely kind and really cares that his guests not only enjoy their stay at his hotel but at the archeological sites. His recommendations are spot on, listen to them!

Nothing!

The room was nice even if it felt a little outdated and had all the needed essentials. The breakfast was very well thought of and everything was very fresh and tasty. It's a 3 star hotel. You get exactly what you pay for.

The bathroom had a stain that can easily be removed with some chlorine, if the person in charge of the cleaning takes care of it.

Great comfortable beds and nice size bathroom with a table and 2 chairs on the balcony. Breakfast had a variety of items such as yogurt, honey, marmalades, hard boiled eggs, cheese and ham slices, juice, cereal, milk and various savory and sweet pastries along with coffee and/or tea. There was also a bowl of fresh apples and pears. The hotel is within walking distance of the museums and Ancient Olympic sites as well - extremely handy. Tavernas and gelaterias are within easy walking distance.

Having stayed here before and being very impressed with everything, including the exceptional service, some years ago, it was the easiest choice imaginable to return with family. Imagine our surprise when, on this occasion, our host exceeded his previous attentiveness, advice and generosity, even talking me through how to print out our return boarding cards from my phone via his printer. The hotel’s central location makes it so easy to stroll to the ancient Olympic sites as well as browsing the bustling shopping areas. There is also a small parking area right beside the hotel & I think parking is also available on the street.

Absolutely nothing.

- The location is amazing! You can park your car for free in their tiny lot, and then walk everywhere. The museums and archeological site are super close. Shops, restaurants, and cafes are literally just outside the hotel. - We also loved the owner. He was so smiley and kind to us. He made sure to offer our girls hot chocolate every morning at breakfast. He gave us a guide book and a map and was just more than helpful. - The balcony is nice. And there is good AC if needed. - The light breakfast was adequate and handy. - We appreciated a family size room for 5 people, as this is a bit tricky to find in Europe.

- The rooms are perfectly adequate but pretty small and nothing special. - The beds weren’t very comfortable. Our pillows smelled a little strange but nothing too bad. - I was overall pleased with our stay. But for the price, I would expect a little bit nicer bedding, mattresses and pillows, especially for the off season. I wouldn’t want to stay more than 2 nights.

Hotel Kronio was right in the heart of the town so we could walk everywhere. The facilities were squeaky clean and breakfast was served with love. The owner was so kind and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

I liked everything and wouldn’t change a thing.
