This is one of the best hotels in life. According to the map, it seems that the hotel is close to marginal Omonia, but no, it is located in a very pleasant area. Literally 10-15 minutes on foot through clean streets and you are already in the center of cafes and restaurants. We didn’t use a metro at all. All the staff was great. We were checked in at 9 am, instead of 15 pm, at the reception there is a Nespresso coffee machine and delicious cakes from the nearest bakery. The room was great, absolutely all equipment is new. Nice veranda where you can even sunbathe in January :) Excellent sound insulation, we have never heard anyone. A comfortable kitchen with everything you need — a microwave, a kettle, a mini-fridge, cutlery, bowls, plates, glasses, etc.

Everything was brilliant!

I was very happy here. The rooms are spacious. The kitchenette is very clean and well stocked with glasses, cutlery and there is a fridge to put items in. The rooms are very new and so everything is clean, organised and comfortable. I was very happy staying here as the bed was comfortable and there was no noise from the outside. The hotel is a 7 minute walk to the nearest metro station and in one of the nicer parts of Athens ( near Kolonaki). I was pleasantly surprised and would happily stay here again. The room I stayed in was the junior suite ( level 5 ) and it also had a beautiful balcony with a lounge area and spacious bathroom. The hotel has 24 hr reception and they make you feel welcome.

My wife and I stayed at Magenta for one night before we headed to Naxos. A lovely stay in a great location! The staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean, modern and spacious, and free coffee/tea/water! The location was very central to everywhere - 5mins walk to your nearest tube station (one stop from Syntagma), 15mins walk to the main square, lots of eateries and coffee shops close by for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in the mezzanine studio. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a small kitchen with a microwave, sink, and coffee machine. The bathroom was modern and clean. There’s no iron in the room but we could borrow one downstairs from the laundry room. The contactless check-in/check-out is very convenient. We had to talk on the phone with the staff and they were super friendly/helpful. The neighborhood of the hotel is not the prettiest, but we felt safe and did everything by foot since it’s very close to the historical center. There’s also a metro nearby.

Standard check-in should be at 2pm instead of 3pm and check-out at 12pm instead of 11am (at no extra costs).

After having done so much research on a hotel for our short stays in Athens, we're really glad we eventually chose this one. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room modern, clean, and chic. Comfy bed. The little kitchenette is well equipped. Fast WiFi. Free coffee and cold water bottles in the lobby a nice touch. We really loved the location, with lots of cool bars, restaurants, and book shops. I've seen a few reviews that describe the area as a bit rough, but I don't agree at all - it's a studenty area, not really touristy (which we liked), but we never felt unsafe in any way. The main tourist sights/Monastiraki/Plaka are walkable from the hotel (or easily reached by Metro). I think people see graffiti and assume that this signals a sketchy area, but this is not the case in Athens where graffiti is ubiquitous! We stayed at the hotel twice (bookending our island hopping trip), and both rooms were fabulous. The first was on the fourth floor (room 43), facing away from the road towards another building - it was great in the sense of being extremely quiet. The second was on the fourth floor (room 42) with a large and lovely balcony - there was a little bit of noise on a Sunday night, some actually really nice traditional live Greek music from a nearby bar, but as soon as we went inside and closed the door, the noise was blocked. We're both extremely sensitive to noise, and it was no problem - so don't let this put you off when mentioned in other reviews.

Amazing experience in this fantastic apartment. The location is wonderful, since it’s in the center of town so we did everything by walk. Excellent service, the rooms are beautiful , clean, we even have laundry service to wash our clothes. The view to the city from the windows are simply beautiful. The staff was very helpful and kind, the communication with them was always very nice and easy. They really hosted us in a very nice way and for us means a lot cause we were far away from Our city. I booked this place as a gift to my parents and I couldn’t be more happy with the experience, my mom and dad are very happy ! Highly recommend it !

Very good location, about 15 mins walk from the centre. Very cool neighbourhood, with hipster bars and some very cool restaurants. Riot police on the street corners as it's considered an 'anarchist' neighbourhood, however we felt very safe and it creates and very lively atmosphere. You use your phone to check in, open doors and check out, and you can also add members to allow them to open doors to the room etc. all in all, if you want a cool place to stay, with comfortable beds, good access to the city and a reasonable price, then this is the place for you.

The staff was amazing- Elvira is top!! She helped us a lot in finding great restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel is brand new, we loved the modern design, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. They give free coffee and water in the lobby - this is super nice. In general, we had a great time in the hotel. We can't wait to come back to Athens and this hotel.

- Very good value for money - Everything you need is available in the room, even water boiler, coffee machine, micro wave, etc. - Very comfortable beds - First we had a budget room, which was extremely quiet at the backside of the hotel. For our last day, we took a suite, very large room and bathroom, but more noisy. - Very responsive crew, always willing to help - Free coffee and water at the bar - Standard room is big enough, except for bathroom - City center is 15-20 mins walk, very easy and safe to reach - Metro station is only 5 mins away by foot.

- Bathroom of standard room a bit small for 2 people - Ventilation in bathroom would be recommended, you have to open the window not to have water vapour in the room. - Housekeeping every 3 days is not enough - Second room, the suite, was more noisy. It’s right on the street and the bed is next to the window. My girlfriend is a good sleeper and had no issues at all, I was a bit annoyed by the sounds (motorcycles, people talking, etc.). would make more sense to make the suites on the highest floor of the hotel, less noise.
