Location and the room were amazing, Little attentions from the hotel. Good breakfast. Nothing to complain about

Being on the first floor it's really noisy, in the day until late at night (12-1 am) So I recommend this hotel but the suite at the ground floor is to avoid if you have trouble to sleep with noise (people talking in the street mainly.

Exceptionally appointed room, Michelin level breakfast! Even though our stay was very short, it was mesmerizing nevertheless.

Everything was perfect!

The location, building and the interior were amazing. Also we had a very smooth check in and a great service. They helped us out with everything we needed. We had an early appointment the next day so they provided us with an early breakfast, which was delicious. They arranged us a cab for our early appointment and when we finished they let us leave the luggage at the reception so we could roam around freely. The service was excellent, professional and sincere.

We were 4 adults staying in the number 2 suit, and the sofa-bed was confortable enough for a night but the room was too cramped. I wouldn't suggest staying 4 people in that room, we were okay for a night but we wouldn't have been able to stay for more than a night. Also, we were staying in the ground room so the construction that started early in the morning woke some of us up but the rest slept well. (so it depends on how much of a light sleeper you are)

The hotel is very cute and situated in the middle of a neighborhood. Every staff member we met was kind and helped us with whatever we needed. The breakfast that was hand delivered to our room was absolutely delicious and eating it on the balcony in our room was such a treat. The room itself was small but very nicely decorated and the bed was super comfy.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. There’s not an elevator, which was advertised, but it still was rough carrying our bags up and down the big staircase. Besides your room and a mini living room on the floor, there isn’t a lot of other space within the hotel.

My recent stay at Monsieur Didot in Athens left me absolutely charmed and delighted. Tucked away from the tourist traps, it provided a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to the vibrant Plaka district, just a 15-minute walk away. This meant that I could enjoy the serenity of the hotel while also easily exploring the bustling attractions of Athens. Monsieur Didot boasts just six individually furnished rooms, each with its unique character and style. These rooms are meticulously appointed with all the amenities one could desire, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay. Whether you're a solo traveler or a couple seeking a romantic getaway, you'll find these rooms to be a perfect haven. One of the highlights of this hotel is its surroundings. It's nestled amidst a neighborhood filled with authentic restaurants, bars, and coffee shops that are frequented by locals. This gave me the opportunity to savor delicious Greek cuisine, sip on exquisite cocktails, and savor aromatic coffee while mingling with the friendly Athenians. It truly enhanced the authenticity of my Athens experience. I must also commend the exceptional staff at Monsieur Didot. Their communication was top-notch, both before and during our stay. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests, making us feel valued and well taken care of. Their warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch that made our stay truly memorable. In conclusion, Monsieur Didot in Athens is a charming and inviting retreat that offers the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. With its ideal location, individually furnished rooms, authentic surroundings, and exceptional staff, it exceeded my expectations in every way.

The hotel is located in the nice Kolonaki neighbourhood. Has great taste throughout. The small bottle of mastic liquor offered upon arrival was a very kind gesture. The staff was always easy to reach and were all very kind. Cleanliness and the comfort of the room were both excellent. Restaurant recommendations from the hotel staff never disappointed. Would definitely stay there again.

A lot of street noise could be heard on a Saturday night from our room on the ground floor. Probably because of people hanging out on the stairs right next to the building.

The breakfast was so divine served to us virtually in bed! The rooms are gorgeous - they are old restored mansion rooms and the property has kept the old glamour! The property is quiet and the street is quite residential. The hosts are so helpful and kind - packing us a breakfast box for our early departure on our last morning. Its about a 10-15 min walk into Monastiraki and to the Acropolis/Partheon!

Just note that you cant throw toilet paper in the toilet - this was very strange for us!

The property is beautifully restored. The bed is SO comfortable and the little touches everywhere were really tasteful. The location is great as well as there are many cafes & restaurants and you're a short walk away from the centre. The host at reception was really friendly and helped us carry our bags upstairs!

Since this is an old hotel there is no lift - so some carrying is involved.

We loved everything. The hotel is so beautiful. Rooms are spotless and have everything you need such as beautiful skincare, coffee and tea facilities. The ladies that work at the hotel are so kind and helpful. This definitely our favourite place to stay at Athens. Close to great restaurants, beautiful shops and all the sights but still in a quiet location.

This is the best hotel in Greece. We stayed here 3 times while in Athens and every time it was wonderful. Great location, beautiful and clean rooms. High quality amenities and everything is environmental friendly. Very good breakfast. All the ladies working at the hotel are simply wonderful. We definitely will be back.
