I sent an email asking for us not to be on the ground floor. Our stay was upgraded. Yippee. We got a seaview.

Staff were friendly, helpful, attentive. Giorgios, Nektorias, Dimitris, Nikos, Manos to name just a few. Always went over and beyond. Clean hotel. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom a little dated and needs an update. But I overlooked this, as it was very clean and room was cleaned by the lovely maid everyday. Great location! Many restaurants, bars and shops can be reached by foot on the same street. Opposite the hotel is a bus stop. So conviennent! 1 Euro 30 to reach Chania Old Town / Venetian Harbour. Took about 25 mins. We did the trip a couple of times and enjoyed it. Hotel is on a nice clean beach. Hotel also has lovely Bali beds! So comfy to relax all day and they will bring cocktails to you. My husband used the gym one day and it was good enough. Food in hotel is of good quality. Ouzaki and Elaion are great for lunch and dinner. Breakfast buffet had a large variety of Foods.

Location was super, Free parking/Garage was extremely super Pool beautiful Staff extremely supportive, always friendly and always had a smile ok theor face..no matter of cleaning Staff, receptionsts, breakfast Staff or any other service-stafd The rooms and the hotel was always clean and veryyyy hygenic The bathrooms are amazinggg and super big and clean and beautiful We got new towles every Day, we even got daily new towles for the beach and the Pool.. which is such a great service There were a lot of vegetarian options for the Breakfast Buffet Not sure about vegan, but definitely a lot of options for vegetarians.

Our room did not had a proper window/balcony with a view to the outside to get some fresh oxygen.....we had a beautiful "balcony" (seriously very beautiful), but with a view Insode the hotel/the lobby. They did Cover the view a bit with some amazing plants...so no one can watch inside the room from the outside..but there was a but if Lack in fresh oxygen in the room But on the other hand..for People who are there for staying outside for more than 70% of the Day, like we did...that would not matter to them..because there was still an AC and the rooms are beautiful. :)

Hotel was in a great location, central to both Platanias and Agia Marina. Plenty of bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Bus stop 100m away to Chania. Right on the beach with plenty of sunbeds, no stressful rush in the morning to get a bed! Listening to the sea from your bed is such a treat. Small adult only which added to the relaxed feel. Some evenings there was chilled live music by the pool bar which was a great addition. Super clean, with great attention to detail. The whole team worked so effortlessly hard and genuinely seemed to love their jobs and the hotel. Considering it was coming to the end of the season, they were so welcoming, friendly and seemed very happy to help with anything. Beds were very comfortable and I'm also including the sun beds which were great too!

Getting into the sea for a dip was a little challenge without beach shoes due to the slippery rocks as you first entered the sea. It was quite deceiving as the beach was sand, but about 2 metres into the sea were smooth rocks until about 10 metres out. Take or buy beach shoes it made such a difference. Sea was beautifully warm and well worth the effort.

The location is great, close walking distance to the middle of Platanias. Staff was extremely friendly upon check-in, and even upgraded our room. The room was spacious, with a separate living room area and bedroom. Beautiful view of the sea, overlooking the pool area and beach. The breakfast is delicious, with a great variety of different foods. We had dinner one night at the resort, and it was awesome, the food was great, huge portions. The staff, and our waiter were very personable and friendly. Enjoyed the pool and beachfront umbrella/chairs on our last day, and had a great time. Ordered lunch, and it was just like dinner, delicious with huge portions. I have been to Crete on several occasions, and prefer Platanias. I think I found my new favorite resort for next time!!

Everything! This resort is amazing, definitely recommend it! The breakfast buffet has a large variety of food for any desire, even has champagne 😁 The pool bar was our favorite place: to sit and drink a cold beer or cocktail while cooling down in the pool - just amazing. The fact that it is an adults only hotel really helped to relax and nap during the day in the chase lounge. The food at the beach tavern is also very good and good size. We both had each two massages - heaven ♥️ The hotel even has an indoor pool for bad weather which thankfully we didn't have Also. The most important thing: on the day we went to the Samaria Gorge they have prepared for us a breakfast bag to take with us!! This is sooo nice of them, we were impressed by this service 🥰 In general, the room was very spacious and very comfortable, air conditioning was silent and soft (i am very sensitive to AC in general but this I could take even during night since the bed was upstairs we had to turn it on for 3h) Also, the hotel is easily accessible with elevator or ramps everywhere which is nice

Everything is perfect even for the second time . General atmosphere of the hotel, everything clean and well organized. Of course the pool and the bar so nice to meet other people. The direct access of the private beach with the beautiful view of Theodoru island melted our heart again. Staff so polite and lovely as usual. Products of quality for the breakfast and for the snack served at lunch time. Cocktail so good too. You can book eyes closed if you want to feel safe and relax for your holidays

The pool and the swim up bar were particularly great, and the staff were very friendly. The room (a junior suite with sea view) was lovely and very spacious. It’s also in the perfect location for the beach and easy access to lots of lovely beachside restaurants and bars.

Not much! The shower temperature could be very temperamental and would change from hot to cold and back again very quickly with no way of controlling it. The lunch restaurant could maybe have done with a few more traditional Greek dishes but it was nice to have an option for lunch on site. Other than that, everything was lovely.
