We loved the pool area. It was very comfortable. The view was lovely and the pool was great for a cool down and relax. It was handy having a bar by the pool. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable with lovely linen. There was a family of cats on site and we enjoyed their company. It was a 5-10 minute walk (depending on speed) to the shop and restaurants. The manager Xenia was very helpful with any queries and was able to help us when we needed. We appreciated being able to stay by the pool until we left for our plane home. A lovely stay.

The bathroom was small and the shower has no door which meant the bathroom got soaked.

Even before our arrival we were contacted and greeted by the wonderful staff and the communication was great customer service,made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. As we arrived and saw the view we instantly got goosebumps! The room was no disappointement neither,good size very clean, we loved the kitchenette, so handy! Our room was on the ground floor with terrace and sea view and we loved it. We spent lot of the time by the pool which felt like little hidden paradise with the beautiful palms and flowers, daily there were enough free sunbeds and no “towel reservations” by the guests. The pool bar is only a bonus. Next time I would love to try the spa treatments and massages for sure.

Nothing to complaint about and I would love to come again.

I spent a day at the Ionian eye, and despite the brief stay, I was impressed by the hotel's cleanliness, modern rooms, and friendly staff. The room was modern and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and alovely view of the surrounding area. The hotel's location was also convenient, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Although Ididn't have time to enjoy the hotel's amenities, the pool and spa center looked well-maintained and inviting. Overall, I would recommend the Ionian eye for a short stay, but I wish I had more time to fully appreciate its offerings.

Very Good customer service from Xena, showed us the room, and what's included and where to go in Messonghi etc. The Pool area was very good, clean, modern, very comfortable pool beds, and plenty of them. Good bar for drinks to cool down too. View from the room was spectacular over the bay. Location is not too far, 5 minute walk, from Messonghi centre to hire boats etc, for bars and fabulous restaurants. The food is just superb, Korali, Minori (Harry's!), Marilena, George and Elena's, Baccus...... If you hire a boat, be approx 130 euros for the day + fuel, go to the Panorama Tavern in Alekes, moor up on the jetty, and walk up into a paradise like restaurant/garden retreat, very idyllic.

Nothing really, maybe the mattress could have been a little more comfortable.

I had a fabulous stay - I only wish it could have been longer. I arrived stressed, and left very relaxed. Xenia at reception and Ethan at the pool bar were both very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The pool is the best I've ever experienced - exactly as it looks in the pictures, sunbeds are very comfortable. The view is lovely. It's 5-10 mins max from everything you could possibly want on a relaxing beach/sun holiday - market, beach, rentals, tavernas. There are no historical sights, hikes or other attractions within walking distance - but as that wasn't the purpose of my holiday this time that was fine for me. I will definitely be back.

As other reviews have mentioned - the bathroom is the only thing that lets the hotel down - water gets absolutely everywhere, and the sink didn't drain very well. The sunbeds and cushions had a few stains. They felt clean, just a bit worn. I would also suggest having a sign somewhere asking people to use the shower next to the sunbeds to rinse off before entering the pool - I thought this was common knowledge/courtesy but most guests didn't. Although this is not the hotels fault - it's worth keeping in mind that the road doesn't have a pedestrian pavement and isn't well lit, so you need to be careful walking back at night.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about the apartment. Located in a quieter area of Corfu, just a short walk from the beach and plenty of lovely bars and restaurants. The room was clean and had everything needed if you prefer the self-board style of holiday. We were able to leave the air conditioning on all day which was great while temperatures exceeded 35° during the day. The pool and pool area are true to the pictures along with a pool bar with friendly staff. There are two supermarkets, bakery and a bus stop on the way to the beach, along with plenty of rental shops for cars, quad bikes, scooters etc.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property. Work being carried out in the vicinity of the property was unavoidable but quickly became background noise. We did unfortunately pay €60 from the airport to the property via taxi but again, of no fault to the property. We did learn however, that you can get a bus from the airport to Corfu Town and then get the Green Bus line B7 to Moraitika (About 40-45 minutes) for less than €5 pp.

We have travelled around the island and stayed in various hotels. We just hoped we would have found Ionian Eye at the beginning so we would have stayed there all week instead. What a great little hotel with so many amenities for it’s size and what a great location. It is ideal to explore the island and still everything in reach. We will be definitely coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ionian Eye during my trip to the island . From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the warm and welcoming staff, who promptly checked me in and showed me to my modern room. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large bed and a generous amount of amenities such as a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The hotel's location was also convenient, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The pool and pool bar was amazing.

The pool and bar area is fantastic. The staff were very helpful and sorted out very reasonably priced car rental. In a quiet area but walkable to town and to a few closer tavernas. We used the place as a base to explore the island and really enjoyed it as that.

The room and bathroom were very small. A lot of the space is taken up by a kitchenette which we didn't use. Other guests were a bit noisy one night but that's not a reflection of the place itself.

Ionian Eye is a wonderful luxurious hotel which is very close to the beach and center of resort. We stayed there for a couple of nights in the sea view studio. There was also a small kitchen with all cutlery in case you want to cook up something on your own. The bedroom was small but very well done up with a big glass mirror which made the room seem even more bigger and also provided quick way to get ready without going inside the washroom and use the mirror there. The bed was very comfortable and provided great sleep after our journey. If you are looking for an amazing stay in a family run hotel and avoid big, no-face, hotel in Corfu without being too far away from the tourist attractions, you should definitely consider Ionian Eye.
