Lovely complex, perfectly situated at the end of the bay. We had planned to stay longer in IOS but the ferry time table upset the plans. We chose Petra as it was out of the main town and quieter. It had lovely views of the bay / beach. It had a restaurant close by that could provide breakfast and nice meals. Although we only stayed for one night we were met off the ferry and given a lift back. We had no transport but he main port with lots of restaurants is only a short 10 minute walk, along the beach if you chose! The host Lisa was lovely and is passionate about providing a service to her customers and the sustainability of the islands natural habitat.

Usually the pictures make a property look nicer than it actually is. However, Petra holiday village was just as nice as the photos (if not nicer) and has stunning views of the sea which is only a 5 second walk across the road to get to. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. One night, I struggled to find the property where I was staying, but two staff members woke up from their sleep to help me find where it was. Could not complain at all. Would definitely recommend to others without hesitation.

The host Lisa was fantastic, she was friendly and knowledgeable of the location and attractions. We were met at the port and driven to the accommodation. The views from the accommodation across the port to the Church are spectacular. I particularly liked the environmentally friendly explanation of the facilities and gardens and love love loved the Olive oil products.

Unfortunately I had broken my ankle just before my holiday so found the stairs a little challenging and the location was a little bit of a walk to the port and public transport but if I did not have an injury this would not have been an issue. The walk along the beach each morning was beautiful with lots of cafes to enjoy during the day and bars to enjoy at night

Staff were overly accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. The location was outstanding, and we were picked up at the wharf by one of the staff. The wharf was only a 10 minute walk from the accommodation. Right on the beach. Very clean, had everything we needed. Stunning villas.

The view was amazing and we loved the cycladic style with it’s rustic charm. The location was perfect, since the area was quiet but yet within walking distance to the village (If you do’t mind walking upwards) and beach is just in front of the suites. There are nice restaurants and coffe shops within short walking distance. The ferry port also close, but transfer was included which we really appreciated.

Note that the equipment in the kitchen area was very limited (in case you are planning to prepare your own meals). The beds could have been more confortable.

Beautiful and lots of lounging spaces, cleaned and fresh towels everyday. So close to the beach! Lisa had so much knowledge of the island and Chris always put his hand up to give us a lift to and from the port.

Kind and professional host, cleaning on very high level, complete renovated house, completely equipped kitchen, authentic Greek houses in community of conceptual village, “fairytale” buildings, close to the beach, port and very good location- max 20 minutes vehicle distance from all main landmarks.

Everything was perfect. Lisa our host was very friendly & helpful. The rooms are comfortable & clean. The view is breathtaking & the location is perfect. The beach is a short walk & the restaurants nearby are great. Highly recommend Petra Holiday Village.
