Great location, accommodating and really friendly staff, clean room, tasty food and great variety of it, really nice and well taken care of property

Food labels during meals could be more descriptive at times (eg dish labeled as potatoes had also meat in it - it makes it sometimes harder to understand which dishes are suitable for vegetarians/vegans)

They had wonderful and kind staffs. Everyone was working very diligently. They also made a very gracious gesture for our special holiday with my wife. In general most things were very good. I would like to thank every single staffs, especially Dimitris.

Most of the dishes started to repeat each other too much after a point. Although there seemed to be variety at breakfast and dinner, it wasn't that much. Another thing was our room selection. We asked for a room with a sea view and we booked it so, but in the end, it could hardly see the sea from a very corner. Instead there was a small communal pool in front of it (not the main one) but it wasn't very clean either. Especially the bottom of the pool looked very dirty. Our priority was to see the sea and this was frankly a disappointment. However, the room itself was quite nicely designed and clean.

I have just returned from a wonderful week at the Bali Star Hotel. The hotel is situated very close to a lovely beach, ideal for the children. There are a good selection of restaurants close by. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. There was a good choice for breakfast and plenty of it. The swimming pool was very nice and there was also a little bar alongside it that served the most amazing cocktails.

My room, which was on a corner overlooking the pool, meant that it could be very noisy at certain times of day. There were not always enough sun beds.

The hotel is really close to a sandy beach and located in a very convenient location, with plenty shops and restaurants around. The buffet at breakfast and dinner is pretty good with plenty choices and good quality. The staff at the restaurant, especially the boys, are always helpful, polite and smiley. Please, make sure to pass our thanks to them. The room is big enough for a family of three.

We liked our stays (6 nights) but we think that there is some space for improvements and that some information needs to be better clarified since they can be misleading (sun-beds and umbrellas at the beach are not included and you need to pay extra; the price of some drinks such as sparkling water -5 euros for one litre bottle - are not listed in the menu). This is a small scale resort (that’s why we liked it), but it didn’t truly felt as a 4 stars resort. Plants and trees are well maintained but the grass next to the restaurant isn’t really in good shape. Also, a small playground for children, with just a few things, would be highly beneficial to those family with small children who need a space to let them play for a bit.

Breakfast was very rich and with plenty of local food. The same for the dinner. The personnel was very friendly and flexible on all our demands. Because we left in the last day very early the personnel gave us breakfast boxes. We found in the hotel even a balance for the luggage so we well adjusted the carrying weight. The prices on the beach and in the hotel bar were reasonable.

At the bar we couldn't find home made lemonade. The beach in the front of the hotel was quite modest as natural beauty but we found not far (1500 m ) KARAVOSTASI where we went regularly during the day.

Our stay at Bali Star Hotel in Crete turned into sincerely magical! From the moment we arrived, we had been greeted with heat hospitality and beautiful sea perspectives. The hotel itself is perfectly made for the comfort of all visitors: breakfast and lunch are served fresh, the location is close to many great tavernas such as Mambo, Galini etc. There are rooms with private swimming pools and ones with shared pools suitable for different budgets and the reception is very friendly, patient and helpful.

Everything was great in the hotel so there is nothing that I did not like. Excellent place with excellent surroundings. You will be happy to spend your holiday here and enjoy the truly special experience.

Tasteful and comfortable furnishings, excellent bathroom and great shower. Lovely balcony. Very good buffet breakfast. A good buffet dinner is also available, and there is a good traditional Taverna nearby. Lovely outdoor pool.

Kettle and cups provided, but no tea or coffee. Apart from that it was great!

Grear location, right near the beach. Most places are above the beach with a arduous walk down and up, not this place. I liked that the manager/owner is on site, the hotel has personality and feels cared about. We only ate breakfast, which was well prepared and presented with a good variety. Bali beach and its surrounding villages have a lot to offer. I had my nails done at a place 200m from the hotel and was very satisfied with the price and the outcome. We looooved our room.

I would imagine that high season is less tranquil but the hotel is in a little nook in the village, so pretty pretected from the crowds.

Premium location next to the Bali beach. The buffet breakfast is very good. We came to the hotel at 10:30 and our room was ready - this was extremely helpful after sleepless night. Mambo taverna across the street serves very good food - cretean dishes and beyond.

Internet could be faster. Pillows can be bigger. Small points to improve. In general, the hotel can be recommended to everyone.
