We only stayed for one night on our way from Kalymnos to the airport, but Sokratis treated us to a warm welcome and goodbye as though we were guests who had stayed regularly and for a week or two. The apartment is homely, spacious and well equipped. Powerful shower and refurbished bathroom. We particularly liked having 2 balconies so we could choose our view (gardens or the field with chickens and chicks) and either sit in sun or shade whatever the time of day. It's a warm walk from the harbour with bags, but for us the country side position on the edge of the village is ideal. Thank you so much. Σας θα δουμε του χρονου!

We arrived late at night and Sokratis was waiting for us with the warmest of welcomes we’ve ever experienced, and a much needed welcome drink. Our apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean, had everything we needed including an iron and a hairdryer. The breakfasts were delicious and filled you for the day. We hired a car from Sokratis and he spent time with us helping to plan the best places to visit on this beautiful island. Sokratis and all the staff were warm and welcoming at all times to all their guests,, making everybody feel at home. We spoke to other guests that have been visiting for years and we can totally understand why they come back as the service is exceptional. We hope to come back ourselves someday!

What a fantastic host Sokratis is. We arrived at 9.30pm, checked in, popped our luggage in the room, then headed to the bar for a complementary drink. A, much appreciated, Mythos for my husband and a G&T for me. We were made to feel very welcome and there was a lovely atmosphere on the terrace, lots of regulars, and it was obvious that Sokratis is highly thought of. We stayed for a few more drinks then headed back to our room. We had a beautiful (newly finished?) bathroom, two single beds in the kitchen area, two single beds in the bedroom, two terraces, each with a table and chairs. Everything has been carefully thought out, a generous selection of toiletries, insect repellent plug in, washing up liquid, a sponge scourer, etcetera. The breakfast was an amazing three courses… table service, a selection of bread, cakes and biscuits, fried eggs served with bacon and herbs, yogurt with chopped fruit, coffee and fruit juice. Exactly what we needed to set us up for the start of our island hopping. We walked to the port - a very short walk - where Sokratis met us with our luggage that he’d brought down in the car. Greek hosting at its absolute best.

Ilios and Irene was as good - if not better - than on our last visit. Sokratis was the perfect host (and a gentleman!) who couldn't do more to make us feel at home. He now offers very good value car hire (with safe cars!) and airport/port transfers. The apartments have everything you need except a TV ... and these days you don't really need one if you have a tablet or computer ... and with two terraces or two balconies depending on which floor you are on, you can relax in the sun or in the shade. The bar is well-stocked and where do I begin to mention Sokratis' breakfasts ... delicious, fresh, copious and a delight to wake up to! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A WONDERFUL STAY - we look forward to coming back.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was present a kitchen and a terrace. We enjoyed also the very good breakfast prepared by Sokratis and his colleagues. The structure is just a few minutes by foot far from the beaches of Mastichari. We also rented a car and the service was perfect. It was like to stay at home :-) I suggest to stay here if you are looking for a quiet place. Sokratis is very nice and very professional.

Everything was ok.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this 4-person apartment near the beach, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The apartment, while simple, had everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. The family-friendly atmosphere was a welcoming touch that made us feel right at home. The administration was incredibly helpful, offering local insights and suggestions for family-friendly activities. Their hospitality and attentiveness made our stay truly enjoyable. The convenience of on-site car rental was a game-changer, allowing us to explore the area with ease. It added a layer of convenience that made our vacation stress-free. Overall, this apartment is the perfect choice for a family vacation. With its family atmosphere, helpful administration, and the added convenience of on-site car rental, we had a fantastic time. We look forward to returning for another visit in the future.

We kitchen utensils quite limiting. Enough for four people but no spare.

Staff all great, friendly, and helpful. We loved it here and will definitely return. Breakfast was great also, something different every day. We hired a car which was easy and reasonably priced. The manager provided is with lots of places to visit, told us where to park for free, which really helped. Location brilliant, walking distance from the village, beach and port. All of the staff here could not do enough to make our week here enjoyable and comfortable. We can't wait to return.

The beds where a little hard for me and would have liked more pillows but that's a personal preference, and I wouldn't score less than a 10 as overall it was a brilliant week away.

We loved these apartments, the place has a feel of a boutique hotel, very clean and spacious rooms that have everything that you need. The breakfast is varied everyday which we liked, and served by Socrates who is a real character, couldn't fault anything. A lot of effort has been put into everything so that guests can have a fabulous and relaxing holiday. It's a 5 minute walk to a small supermarket/bakery and a few minutes further to a big supermarket. The nearest restaurants are about a 10-15 leisurely walk as is the fabulous beach, best beach in Greece for me! We will definitely return, wished we could have stayed longer

Nothing, everything exceeded expectations.

We’ve just spent 9 nights here and it was excellent all round. Very clean throughout and rooms cleaned thoroughly. Fresh towels and bedding provided 3 maybe 4 times during our stay! Close to all amenities and 5-10 minutes to beach, local tavernas, harbour for boats. Apartments had everything in needed and bathroom was more modern than photos show. Also had a balcony back and front which was lovely! Use of safe in room at no extra charge. Pool/beach toys and floats for kids to use during the stay. We paid for b&b option which was a Plentiful and fresh 3 course breakfast provided. Bar available which we made use of most nights before going out for evening meal. Use of half time bar pool (free) 1/2 minutes away. We didn’t use Luis pool but you have use of this as well (across the main road, chargeable). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay back in the area after previously visiting a lot in my teens. Sokratis and family couldn’t do enough and their personal touch to running the place and friendliness is what keeps people coming back year on year. We will definitely be back!

The apartment is part of a small hotel, situated a bit outside of the centre but within walking distance to the beach and the port. The furnishing was very basic but I didn't mind for just one night. The highlight for me was the private bacony looking on the backyard. There's a cozy lounge and upon arrival you're welcomed by an extremely friendly manager who is happy to help with everything you may need.
