We loved everything about this hotel! Stella the owner could not have done more to make us feel welcome or to help us have the best possible stay. Our room was impeccably clean and plenty of room with a lovely view over the pool and the sea. The pool itself was the cleanest, most immaculate pool we have been to - and fortunately for us, although the hotel had loads of guests, we had the pool to ourselves for much of the time - bliss! The hotel is on a cliff below which is a wonderful pebbled beach with almost exclusive use by hotel guests and again - we had the place almost to ourselves. Crystal clear waters, a short walk down a donkey track from the hotel. Perfect! We could walk into the local town for 2-3 small sandy beaches around the harbour with some lovely local harbour restaurants and some sunsets to die for! We had a car so were able to drive to the more lively port of Rethymno Town which offered fabulous restaurants, streets of shops and the harbour where we spent hours eating fabulous meals, people-watching and drinking cocktails. The hotel had a really great range of food for breakfast; Stella is a master chef and shared with us her culinary treats such as the best carrot cake. There was a really friendly atmosphere in the hotel with people from all nationalities there. This holiday proved to be one of the best we have ever had. We would totally recommend the hotel for anyone wanting peace and quiet, within range of lots of activity; clean rooms and fabulous pool area with plenty of room for everyone and privacy throughout.

this hotel is a hidden pearl for people who like peace and nature. its located on the coast, surrounded by fields where you can see from far away some goats and sheeps. there are only maybe 3 houses around the hotel. you can take a beautiful walk longside on the coast to the town (15minutes) or drive (2minutes). clean room with spacious balcony, good water pressure in the shower. swimming pool with view over the ocean. this is the ideal point for sunsets. friendly staff, the homemade carrot cake with the coffee was amazing. bring a mosquito spray and you will be ok

The view is surreal and it is so peaceful. When the guests aren't making noise the only thing you can hear is the sound of waves and crickets. The pool is very clean and beautiful.

It's a bit far from Rethymno and other places so you should rent a car to be mobile. The private beach down the cliff was very dirty and rocky so if you wanted to enjoy a day at the beach you should go to other locations by car or by bus. The beds were not that comfortable.

Super nice location . Super view at the sea and swimming pool . Swimming, sunbathing,relaxing ... Stella en her staff are very friendly and helpful. They run a family hotel and one can feel the kindness of them. We liked our room with morning sun on the balcony. Food was really good, although we had no buffet while being there ,Stella gave us enough choice for breakfast and dinner. She really took good care of us , her priority is you to feel alright. She's a warm person. It's good to have a car for visiting other places..the hotel is just outside the town, 15' walk to center. It's a place to go back ....

We had included in the superb price quality-price the small de jun and dinner which were excellent in terms of taste, always fresh, the staff behaved great with us, very friendly, in addition to that, the swimming pool was very neat, a pretty good area to travel through this island with views that I really liked. In addition to that, there are cute cats nearby and at the hotel 😍🤣

The host was very hospitable, she answered to all our requests. The hotel is located right near the sea, having a nice terrace to enjoy breakfast. Decent breakfast and peaceful surroundings. Very useful AC.

The hotel is located 15 minutes walking distance from the center and the beach, and the access is done through a deserted street, with poor lighting during the night. The interior of the room was quite shabby and there was no fridge inside. The terrace is hardly enjoyable in the evening, as there are too many mosquitos.

Very nice pool, beach access was a bit stoned, but nothing a pair of beach shoes can’t fix, staff was super friendly (thanks stellla and family) just be careful with the bus from heraklion, make sure they understand it’s Stella beach PANORMOS RETHYMNO, else they’ll take take you to the other side, happened to me twice in the central bus station….

Location is hard to defund for the central bus station personnel

The views from the hotel are amazing and 10 minutes out from the village make it perfectly place and if you don't feel like walking taxis are 6/7 euros. Its my 2nd visit here and would not hesitate to book again

Position is perfectly central and not far from the town of Panormos, swimming pool is great to freshen up after a long day on the beach or for relax away from crowded beaches. Breakfast is generous.

Rooms are fully functional but may need some small aesthetic fixes here and there. Wifi inside the room is not very strong. Probably a new coffee machine would make the breakfast even better.

The sea view from the room and the staff was perfect. I liked that they answered every question and special request such as accommodating myself and my friend in separate rooms was solved easily. The location and the scenery was beautiful.

At first we thought that the location is not that beneficial: neither the bus driver nor anyone in the bus knew the location and we were travelling in the middle of the night. The next morning our views changed: the scenery was amazing and we could cope well with the 10-minute walk to the village Panormo. Airport transfers could be organised to improve the services, and the quality of the breakfast can also be bettered.
