All inclusive service was great, it was kinda international food in 60%, other 40% was a variety of different foods. Pool was great, with a little bit cold water, but clean and nice. Cocktails were good, staff was really friendly and kind people. We got clean towels when we asked, everything was perfect. There were great restaurants nearby, city centre and beaches are very close to this hotel. There were enough free parking space for everyone. Cats were all around, we loved them : )

Bathroom could be renovated a little bit, but it was good enough for us.

Don't know why people complain about this hotel...Very good value in my opinion. Staff excellent. Would return

Poor wifi The city tax was charged even though this was already paid through Booking, After we argue they give us the money back. The same breakfast selection every morning. No air conditioning in restaurant, you have to eat at 40 degrees C, outside all the tables are in the sun, no umbrellas available

Everything was really good, the food varied a little from day to day and was decent options of vegetarian dishes as well. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and beaches close by(short walking distance). Pool is decent size, we went a little out of season and never had a problem getting a sunbed. Staff was super nice, make an effort to say hello ask how you are when passing by etc. They'll provide beach towels, but you can only change them a set amount of times based on how long youre staying. The housekeepers were nice and respectful as well.

The all inclusive drinks even tho poured by the bartender in front of you and looked like double shots in each, were still very weak, so assuming the alcohol is premixed with water in the spirit bottles already, but there's no limit on how often you can go back for more :D. Also it says on booking theres currency exchange at the hotel, but when I asked at the reception they didn't know what I was talking about, so you're best to just sort that on the airport if you want to have some cash, although everywhere in the area was fine to pay with card.

Great quiet location. Very close walking distance to all the beaches, restaurants, and super markets in Sidari. The food was great, very fresh and very good variety even for vegetarians. Hard to beat this price for half board or all inclusive. The staff is very nice and professional. Bed was very comfortable. Room is cozy and balcony and bathroom are a good size.

Everything is really nice and fully renovated except the AC which is probably 20 or 30 years old. Luckily it was well maintained and is the best brand (Carrier) in the world so it was not very loud and was still fairly comforable for a system that old. The door from the balcony is also old and we could hear constant knocking and banging when there was wind. The WiFi is very fast (150+ mbps) and extremely unreliable. There was no WiFi anywhere at the hotel for the last two days which is kind of unacceptable for a hotel of this size. The other days we stayed it was always very difficult to have a stable and reliable connection.

Our stay at Corfu Sungate hotel was great. We've booked it for a great price (300euros for per person for 7 nights) and frankly, we werent expecting much according to reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were nice and always clean, the staff was super nice (especially in the restaurant and in the bar), food was tasty and there was always something to choose a from. Also the hotel has great location, about 3-4 minutes to closest beach Apotripiti and about 5-7 minutes to Canal d'amour. If we travel to Sidari again, we will definitely choose this hotel.

Wi-fi wasnt always working

- location of the hotel is good - a 3min walk to a small Apotripiti beach and a 7min walk to the main Sidari beach, close to bars and restaurants - hotel complex is nice and well-kept (expect one leaking pipe in front of our room) - the pool was clean, sunbeds were comfortable - staff in the reception spoke English - table tennis and tennis court available - supermarket is right next to the hotel, which was very convenient - parking was available free of charge - late check-in was available

- breakfast variety could be wider and more healthy (more fresh fruit and veggies, some spreads, musli...), do not expect a good quality of coffee - room service didn't clean the floor in the room and didn't come every day - towel exchange is possible only every 3 days - toilets in the pool area need repair, door could not be locked - bathrooms in each room need to be renovated, there is only a few storage place - missing cups in the rooms - room walls are quite thin (I could hear our neighbour snoring) + almost no wall/barrier between balconies (make sure you close and lock balcony doors) - even though it is stated there is a gym, there is none - no lift available, but you can ask for a room on ground floor

The whole staff was so kind. From reception till pool bar and cleaning staff. They always had a smile on their faces and as a guest that makes you feel welcome. Also they had Dj, folcloric greek music and dancing show. The food was really good and tasty. About the location, theres 2 beaches a few meters away from the hotel. Definitely to repeat. The staff is trying very hard. Everyone is very friendly, the food was excellent. This hotel is really great. The bartender is super! Maybe this doesn't belong in this comment, but I will write something about the hotel you should stay at anyway. MONIKA HOTEL SIDARI for the sake of your health, nerves and something else, stay away from this hotel. The hotel is really bad and I do not recommend it in any way, the food is terrible....The water in the pool is filled from the sewer, we noticed this by chance on 6/5/2023-disaster!!!

Price and value was exceptional! Staff was always kind, polite and helpful; receptionist lady helped with early check-in and late check-out, the young man with printing a ticket too, I felt really taken care of. The breakfast had a big and tasty variety of warm and cold food, as well as drinks, fresh fruits, etc.; the breakfast room was clean and well organized, it was nice starting every day there, haha. The room itself was spacious, had a mosquito net (super useful, one can let fresh air in without worries), fridge, storage place, big TV. I liked the location too, pretty central and just a short walk from the best wild beaches in Sidari. All in all: a great choice, great staff, great facilities, great location, I'd gladly stay here again!

Tiny imperfections mean tiny problems that could be done better: bathroom door didn't close fully; a tiny mosquito net would be useful for the bathroom window too.
