Amazing location - Makrinitsa was such a fantastic place to come across. Christina was very friendly and welcoming and her homemade breakfast was fantastic.

The road we chose to get there was unfortunately one that had been washed out and weather effected!! Worst road ever - BUT - There is a 'good road' make sure you take that!! You must park in the parking area for the Makrinista village then walk in on the cobbled streets to the village square and then up behind the Byzantine museum to find the accommodation. Village shopkeepers were very helpful to us - especially after our hell road drive (Waze App navigation wild goose chase).

Great view (as pretty much everywhere in that village), nice breakfast with homemade pie and jam.

Although there has been put a lot of work to renovate an old building like this, there's still room for improvement on the facilities (i.e windows insects screens) and the overall cleaning in the apartment (carpets, cutlery, ceiling corners etc). The bed sheets, towels and WC were state of the art clean and that's good!

Exceptional property and suite. Well appointed. Clean. Very comfy beds. Amazing views from rooms and terrace. We couldn't have wished for a more gracious hostess than Arethi. Lovely breakfast with especially delicious home baked apple cake. Short walk down to the square where we enjoyed outstanding meals at Cardamo and Απόλαυσηm. Although the environment is beautiful and breezy underneath the ancient Platanus trees, I would visit Kentriko for coffee and ice creams only. Such a magical place. I highly recommend a stay at 1822. Would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be returning!

Very minor .... but always look forward to fresh squeezed orange juice whenever I visit Greece. Also, some teas and creamer added to the kitchen bar would be appreciated. Otherwise, perfection!

Very cute hotel, the only one in the village with an elevator - very important on the winding roads there, Kristina was sweet and upgraded us to a suite for our honeymoon our honey We enjoyed the quiet and our nice hotel. The breakfast was excellent, we will come back here.

Great location, really close to the center. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, from the moment we arrived, to breakfast and then check out, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and even gave us information and recommendations for the area. Room was very spacious and clean. Also the property has an elevator.

Bed was a little uncomfortable.

The room was very comfortable and beautiful and very clean! The view from its balcony is exceptional!

There is not something we didn't like.

Location is one of the best I have had, with a spectacular view close to the nice restaurants, short walk. Breakfast was huge and exceptionally good.

We liked the picturesque location - with a great view to the gulf. The staff was very friendly, Eleni gave us all the information we needed. And the personal breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning! I’m glad we made the perfect choice!

The bed mattress has a bend as well as the air conditioning of the Ekatis’ leaving room was malfunctioning. Too many stairs to climb especially when you curry luggage
