Fabulous location right next to Tikal entrance.

The lodge charged us for the sunrise tour but we booked the tour and paid separately. Then they said we wouldn’t get a refund for 20 days. I settled it through my credit card because 20 days is unreasonable.

Beautiful, aesthetically furnished, excellent staff, extremely clean, excellent location that could not be better. Tours offered at great price. Pick up and drop to Flores at reasonable cost was helpful. I think this is the best way to see Tikal. Tikal is such a beautiful place that it would be a pity not to stay within the forest to experience it and Tikal lodge is one of two properties that is within the forest area

Very poor to practically no options for vegans in their kitchen. To say I was starving would be an understatement. I liked everything else so much that I would still go back to this lodge but will carry adequate food with me next time

Jungle lodge is located right in the middle of Tikal, on walking distance to the Maya ruins. The hotel was super nice and staff very friendly. The guides were also very good and spoke English well. The cleaning staff was working all the time to make sure that the areas were free of insects, as the hotel is located in the middle of the jungle. Food was very nice and we appreciated cinema evening.

Our room was not sound proof and for the sunrise walk they dont take into consideration people are still sleaping. It were mainly tourists that woke us up but the staff could inform them bit better. Food and drinks were quite expensive.

Amazing location and lovely, simple rooms. It was great to be right inside the park (a few minutes' walk from the entrance) and to make use of the pool. The showers were good and we always found them very clean. The restaurant is okay, more expensive than most but not so much that it put us off eating there. The breakfast was better value with coffee or juice included.

Unfortunately the hostal/hotel is significantly let down by the service, particularly in the restaurant. Many staff members were very rude and did not live up to the standards of other elements of the hotel. Most reviews so far this year mention the poor service so it seems little is being done to address this. We raised our concerns and were told it's being worked in.

1. The facilities and rooms were impeccably clean, even for a hostel with shared bathrooms. The bathroom facilities and showers were maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. 2. Nestled amidst the jungle within Tikal National Park, this hostel harmoniously integrates with its natural surroundings, showcasing a thoughtful design that respects the environment. You wake up every day listening the howler monkeys 🐒 3. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond, facilitating tour bookings to explore the Tikal Maya ruins.

The dining experience left much to be desired with excessively high prices for portions/quality that don't justify the cost, which may seem exploitative to non-USA or non-European tourists familiar with local prices. Additionally, the pool was not well-maintained.

The location is ideal if you are interested in a sunrise visit to the site as it is the closest hotel to the entrance. The food was delicious and the 'Zen Lounge' was a nice space to hang out in a hammock.

The Zen Lounge had really loud fans that were on all the time (about 8 or more) that could not be turned down (not very eco friendly). When I asked if someone could turn them off I was told someone would do it but noone came. Would be great if lights and fans could be turned off to avoid energy waste.

Location right in Tikal park.

Online correspondence was not effective. Tried to arrange pickup shuttle from Flores 3-5 weeks in advance days before we were scheduled to be picked up they FINALLY sent a payment link to book but the price was wrong. I pointed this out and they said they’d fix it and send a new link. Then never did. I followed up the day before we were supposed to get picked up and never got a response or new link so we had to get shuttle out through someone else. They use the lobby as a meeting spot for the sunrise tour (4:00 am) so from 3:30-4:05am there was about 20 people in the lobby yelling over top of eachother like idiots while everyone was sleeping. I went and asked the front desk staff to do something about the volume as many guests were still trying to sleep. He did nothing.

The property is AMAZING, so beautiful and in a perfect location. The food is divine. We had the Greek salad, chicken pepian, and chocolate cheesecake - all were 10/10. The prices of the food are high but that is to be expected. The bathrooms were completely clean and everything was wonderful.

The only thing is that they add a 10% gratuity to everything you order, which I understand when you sit down and have a meal but not when you just want a bottle of water to take away for the day.

Beautiful amenities in the middle of the jungle. Upscale reception, restaurant, bar, and game room with theater seating. We stayed in a hostel room which was plenty of space for one night and had a great ceiling fan. Shared bathroom was lovely with private (lockable door) toilets and showers. Also very close to rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Not a bad thing as conservation is important, but be aware that power is intermittent. You will be given a piece of paper with the on/off hours. Did not create any issues for us.

Loved the onsite restaurant as well as the vegetation here. The shared bathroom and shower were not a problem either since they were cleaned regularly. The little bar area was vibey and the pool area was nice and relaxing as well.

The rooms get pretty hot and I went during the rainy season so I can just imagine in the summer. There was a fan overhead but the air didn't circulate very well in the room. Unfortunately couldn't leave the door open either due to the amount of mosquitos.
