Spacious and clean room. Beautiful lake view and very central location. There are great restaurants right next door.

Upon check in still having the heavy backpack on they immediately tried to sell us transport to Tikal, a little pushy. They picked us up with a taxi driver who tried to cheat us with the price for a tour the next morning and if I hadn’t known the price for going to Tikal they would have charged an astronomic amount, probably keeping the additional amount apart from the real taco price. A little more customer And service Orientation Would have been nice. You get the feeling of “well you’ll not come back anyway, so why make an effort...“

Great location in the super-cute little island town, really comfortable and well furnished room, one of the best bathrooms we’ve seen in our Latin America travels, lovely little bonus of the private balcony and minibar, and that shared upstairs terrace with front-line lake views was superb. The staff were so all lovely as well. Complimentary water was available downstairs along with a small kitchen which we found useful for making up sandwiches for travel days.

The sound prodding is not the best so we used earplugs which resolved the issue. I suspect this is an issue which is common to pretty much every building in the town though. The hotel itself is quiet, it’s just the road noise that starts quite early each day.

The rooms are a good size and have safes and fridges, hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It was quiet at night and the terrace is absolutely perfect - views of the lake and the sunset, comfortable chairs and ceiling fans for hot evenings. The restaurant doesn't serve food but La Casa de Enrico is right next door and their food is excellent.

There's no elevator so if stairs are an issue this isn't the place for you.

lovely little place in a beautiful location . it’s very tastefully decorated , safe , spotlessly clean , friendly and welcoming . great views from the balcony in my room and terrace upstairs

it’s a shame there is no breakfast . even just a toaster some bread and butter would have been a pleasure to have enjoyed twenty minutes in the morning with a cuppa and toast on the balcony . not the end of the world just would have been the cherry on the cake .

I cannot express how clean and organized the rooms are! Not to mention that they are very spacious. When we arrived we were greatest by some very friendly staff, the location of the hotel was also very convenient! Nice restaurant near by and not much of a walking distance from the entrance of the island. We were lucky enough to go during the weekend of the islands celebrations and let me tell you! We got an excellent view!

The hotel is perfect for what it is. The staff are friendly and always ready with a smile, but don't expect English. We checked in after dark and the door was locked, but we were quickly let in. The young man at the desk was very nice. The room was clean and had a beautiful balcony. The view of the lake was really nice. The price was good. The hotel is older, but it is well maintained. Air conditioning worked well. I would choose to stay here again when I come back to Flores.

No food is served at this hotel, but we knew this going in. There are lots of options on the island. We liked Cool Beans for breakfast.

Lovely to sit on the verandah to watch the sunset, or to read in the day. The room was large enough for yoga practice which was a big bonus. Good to have a fridge in the room that was stocked with reasonably priced beer.

The bottom sheet on the bed was too small and it came off every night so we were lying on the waterproof mattress protector.

The views from our super clean room made this hotel one of the most enjoyable stays we had in the Petén of Guatemala. The views overlooking Lake Petén Itza toward the little village of San Miguel made it a quiet and serene experience.

Sadly, the power cable hang across the view of the second story rooms, inevitable since the water from the lakes rise with storms that come in during the rainy season.

The common balcony had a very nice view of the lake. The room was very spacious. Hotel was able to arrange transportation/tours albeit a bit more expensive market price.

Non of the bar locks worked…they were not placed properly and when I reported it to reception they didn’t seem to care. You need a tuk tuk to get there, not very walkable to get there from the point airport shuttle drops you off.

The location is wonderful. The porch with the view was fantastic. The cold water container in the lobby and the fridge in the room was very helpful.

The room was a bit cramped. We were a couple so the extra double bed if removed would have made the room a bit more comfortable. There was a hot or cold water container available in the lobby. That is welcome however, either a kettle in the room or a pot of coffee in the lobby featuring Guatemalan coffee and real milk would improve the overall comfort a lot.
