Ben was very nice. He was willing to accommodate our late arrival, but we ended up checking in during business hours, so it was all good. The AC and mini fridge worked well. I didn't know that street parking is free on the weekends, in Budapest, I loved that. We didn't have to go too far to find a spot. There's a bakery just a few doors down with excellent pastries for breakfast. This hotel is within walking distance of the House of Terror Museum, the Opera House, the Cat Museum (make your reservation well in advance - they get booked up!), Flipperz Museum, the Hop-On-Hop-Off ticket kiosk (highly recommend using this to get around the city), St. Stephen's Basilica and so much more. I'm not going to write what I didn't like. Yes, the room is a little dated, but that is not a problem for us. The beds were comfortable, the security was great! 3 doors someone would have to get through to reach us. If you're looking for an affordable way to visit Budapest, this is a good place.

We had an excellent price for a hotel in this location. Centrally located in a beautiful and communicative area, yet the room is quiet, overlooking a courtyard in an old building. The triple room is spacious and sunny, with a seating area, a small fridge and an electric kettle. Basic and simple, just as in the photos and what we prefer. Communication with reception was seamless. The room was ready in advance, possibility to leave luggage.

There is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, a small inconvenience that needs to be fixed.

Big room featuring a fridge and a kettle. For the price per night, it's a great deal based on the location. Close to the opera, 10-15 minute walk to St Istvan. Simple room with all amenities needed, great if you want an affordable city centre experience and avoid sharing a room with strangers like in a hostel. It was clean.

The walls felt paper thin - I could hear everything going on in my neighbors bedrooms, the hallway, and every time a door opened/closed and the lift was called. It made for a pretty noisy and uncomfortable sleeping experience in an otherwise ok room.

A wonderful guesthouse. The room was small but comfortable and cozy. The shower, toilet, and sink were in excellent condition. Amenities were provided, although I had to buy shampoo :) The man at the reception was polite and ready to help. The windows faced the courtyard, and with the window open, I could hear the bell ringing from the nearby church. I thought it might be bothersome, but it was actually very comfortable. The cleanliness was especially pleasing. It’s a 15-minute walk to the Budapest-Nyugati station, 7 minutes to the tram stop, and another 8 minutes to the train station.

I had to wait a bit for the hot water to start flowing from the tap, but it wasn’t a big deal.

The people at the reception were very courteous. They take us to our rooms and show us around the rooms and even check for themselves that it's clean and tidy. It's within walking distance from the tram and metro stations, lots of eateries around. There is also an air conditioner present in the room. It was a welcome change feom the heat outside.The room was quite during the night, it also had a spacious bathroom. An electric kettle, hair dryer, coffee powder were provided in the room.

There are quite a few beggars on the route between the tram stop and the hotel route, during noon time when I came in from Buda area, I recommend coming via the metro to the opera station, if possible. The power extension in my room 22 had only one working socket and needs to be replaced.

The place was clean and well kept. It is in a very good location, in close proximity to shops, good restaurants and public transport. The service was friendly and check in was easy and clear.

The WiFi would sometimes work slow or cut off, it it was not a big issue. Aside from cups and spoons for coffee or tea, there was no other cutlery, like a knife to cut a bun or spread butter on it.

Good & easy access to metro, bus, tram, tramway and main center objectives - St Stephan Basilique, Parliament, Opera, Fashion Street , some of Christmas markets. Beware , the breakfast it is served in another two locations , one, CAPA Cafe it's suuuper, at 3 min walk !

A "smal" minus point : the room is "quite noisy", especially when the neighbors quarrel, small children cry or ... if the locksmith has to intervene at midnight to unlock a door by force 🫣

Ben was so welcoming and helpful! Perfect location. I was upgrade to a bigger room which was so spacious. Breakfast options were good. You have a 5 minute walk away from the guest house to get there with 3 different breakfast combos which include a savoury and sweet pastry/bread bun, a hot drink and a bottle of water.

I found the locks very difficult to lock and unlock, for the main door, floor door and room door. They are not easy to turn the key. But luckily Ben who works there taught me how they work.

Room was comfortable and quiet, breakfast (which was served in a nearby cozy Café) included good quality coffee, a warm bagel, a tasty apple pie or cookie, and a bottle of water. Staff were friendly and location was perfect.

Hotel rooms were a bit outdated (although in good shape). Also, there was a door on the second floor corridor, that needed a key to get out, which was not ideal in terms of having to leave the area in case of fire. Also pillows could be better, but this is a problem in most hotels!

For the price and location of this accommodation you cannot fault it, the check in staff were lovely, we could reach everything we needed to in Budapest easily and the breakfast included in the café next door was a lovely little bonus.

The rooms are a little tired and grubby, but again for the price I am not complaining at all. As this was a sightseeing city break all we needed was somewhere cheap convenient to sleep and this was perfect.
