The house is close to all the main attractions from the city centre, also there is a Lidl about 8 - 10 min walking distance so getting groceries is easy. The staff was very welcoming and kind. They even let us keep our car on their parking spot all day after we left.

The parking is quite tricky. If you park on the street you need to pay the parking fee for zone B in budapest (400HUF/h i remember.. + or - 50Huf) but you can do that for only 3 hours (budapest parking rules idk). The host helped me with the parking giving me a spot that didn't need paying in front of the house.

I wanted to stay at an authentic Hungarian place. This lovely large House/Hotel was wonderful and the owner Esta was so friendly, helpful and cheerful. The location was peaceful and away from the Busy centre of town but close to the River Dambue and the city was within easy reach. If you like older style rooms and furniture and a bit quirky and family run places you will like it here

It would of been nice to have something for Breakfast. Saying that there were places within walking distance to eat. I would like to mention there were quite a few steep steps leading up to the House, the owner did carry my suitcase up for me, not usually a problem but I strained my knee a few weeks earlier.

The accomodation was perfect! It had everything we needed and the bed was really cozy. The beautiful garden made the accomodation so nice! Also the host was amazing. She was so nice to us! We could leave our bags at the accomodation until our departure and generally she helped us out a lot! Such a friendly woman! We will definitely come back!

This place is one of Budapest’s hidden gems. You’re staying in an old mansion, that once belonged to one of Hungary’s noble families. The room looks just like a museum and everything is vintage. This place is more than an accommodation, being a genuine experience, especially for history lovers.

Great location so many things to do, wonderful 'library' apartment. Clean and comfortable beds, nice historic interior design. The owner is nice and very helpful. Beautiful garden even in the winter time with snow and a friendly dog.

Not sure, but I think we had a shared bathroom. On your way up the hill, if you go by foot, you'll find it slippery in the winter, be careful.

Everything was just perfect. This house is old. You will smell it immediately as you enter inside. Such an amazing feeling to be there, especially for those who like vintage styles. Comfortable beds and such a helpful host. Highly recommended!

Pillows

Comfortable bed, pillows and blankets. Room-darkening curtains. Quiet. We slept very well. Spacious room. Clean. In-room sink, eating utensils, and Budapest maps and guidebooks were available (as well as TV, fridge and AC, which we didn't use). Location is great. Close to the 5th district (inner city). Friendly owner. Beautiful house and garden. Thank you!

The room was very nice! Spacious, clean and had beautiful antique furniture. Got a nice balcony as well. The host and her family were friendly and she gave us restaurant tips :) The location is also great! Quiet neighbourhood but walking distance into town!

Very nice property, only few min walking distance from main sightseeings. The host was very pleasant and helpful. Apartment was huge and clean, the bed was very comfortable, we had all types of tea and coffee in the room. Very happy with our choice.
