Very comfortable, clean, nice environment surrounded by nature, quiet and peaceful. Loved the deck with hot tub, however the weather didn’t let us use it.

We had problems trying to get into the cottage. We were not familiar with the key pad box with a key inside, so it too is a while. Additionally, would be nice to be notified in advance that the cottages are nearby, so that way we don’t bring the luggage out when checking in, as we had to load it again in the car to go to the cottage

They provided a baby cot for my 15 months old baby. We had our own travel crib but it was very helpful that the hotel provided a baby cot so we didn't have to spend extra time to set up (and take down) the travel crib. The travel crib came with a fitted sheet, a comforter, and a baby size pillow. We took out the comforter and the pillow. The sheet was very clean and soft. Baby slept through the night for the first time of the trip (3rd night in Iceland). Friendly staff. Comfortable room with huge windows for viewing the northern lights if lucky. Decent selection of breakfast items (a couple of hot food items like bacon and scrambled eggs), pastries, fresh bread, several kinds of milk, cold cut meats & cheese, coffee and juice. Would stay here again.

The drain cover in the shower was sharp. My child stepped on it and got a cut on the bottom of her toe. The hotel staff helped immediately when notified and provided the tools we needed to help with bandage. I wish the cover was less sharp, or had a different kind of cover that was more safe for children's feet.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The breakfast buffet was incredibly extensive and delicious. The staff greeted us with warmth and friendliness from the moment we arrived. Our room was quiet and spacious, providing all the comfort we needed. What's more, they had a crib ready for our baby upon our arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. We were so pleased with our experience that we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. Overall, our time at this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return in the future. The combination of excellent service, a peaceful room, and that delicious breakfast made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our trip so enjoyable!

We picked the hotel because it looked nice on the pictures and a lot of others rated it well as well as it offers a hot pot too. The guys were nice, helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and the hotel itself looked as if the people being there really cared about it to stay like this. Probably you're not going to meet the icelandic guy I met in the hot pot who was absolute fun to chat with but this shouldn't keep you from picking it ;) The breakfast was another reason we booked and we weren't disappointed. Everything's there - some of the treats homemade and everything else delicious too. A perfect way to start another day on tour.

Perfect location, beautiful forest and surroundings, lots of charming rabbits which our kids loved, close to the center. The cottage itself very spacious, 2 large rooms, one smaller. 2 bathrooms. very spacious living room with kitchen with wonderful view of the mountains and forest.

Poor kitchen equipment. We had nothing to cook dinner for the whole family.

Comfy beds, nice place in general

We were given a room with amazing views to the fiord but there was a very annoying noise coming from the electrical installation. When complained about it to the person in the reception they couldn't hear it but anyway offered to change our room. Unfortunately, the second one didn't have such great views - had views from the parking. The hot pool wasn't working that day. Also, the hotel needs quite a renovation.

The guest house we booked into was huge. Very clean, incredibly bright and spacious with a large patio. The patio itself had a jacuzzi, a grill and some play equipment for the children. The jacuzzi was very nice to sit under the stars and the neighborhood was quiet and tucked into the forest. We had daily visits form some rabbits in the garden :) It was a magical stay and we would definitely return. Highly recommend this place.

Very spacious, ewes from the terrace was exceptional, as an extra bonus before we went to bed the aurora borealis was out dancing in the sky. Everyone loved our visit, we will definitely go back.

The only thing that could have been better was the signage, the sign pointing to the area we was staying in was directing the wrong way, maybe children having fun, but didn't spoil our visit.

Calm and quiet place, surrounded by forest. There's a big parking in front of the hotel, with enough place for everyone. They have a bathtub in the garden.

Sadly the bathtub was half empty, and in my opinion water wasn't hot enough. It looked kinda messy, like they've just run it for the first time after winter. Breakfast is continental buffet like in any other places on Iceland. And like in any other places it's not very tasty. They have a good juice and a coffee maker tho, but the scrambled eggs made from bottle eggs instead of fresh ones are inedible.

The hotel was far away from the center of town and yet a close drive. It was quiet and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. My daughter hurt her knee on a hike. Teresa gave us a bag of ice. The next morning Hildar gave us pain ointment and more ice. We got to see the Northern lights. A very beautiful area with a quaint town and picturesque mountains. I would highly recommend. Be mindful~ the hotel was quiet because we were here the first of March. No snow, about 6-10 Celsius. Windy at times… bring a winter hat and mittens. Good hiking boots. Also this was quite unusual weather for this time of year.

Everything met our expectations.
