Well I loved the look of the Hotel. The Check-in is so easy; you get a 4 digit code by Email, which will open the main door and room. As for Check-out, just leave the yellow check-out flyer on the outside handle and away you go. The rooms are modern and clean with a Great shower and decent size TV. The Breakfast was pretty good, but if you're expecting a Fry-up, then think again. I like the fact the Hotel itself, is a pick-up place for tours. Oh there are a few Supermarkets very near, which I used regularly. Oh I nearly forgot, you can drink the Tap water, unless it says otherwise.

Well I'm an introvert, so the lack of staff, didn't bother me, but it may bother others. Yeah, it's a small thing, but a Fry-up as an option for Breakfast would be Awesome. You're far from the center of things, but the Grensas bus stops are just outside the hotel, will bring you to and from the center of things. Use Bus 15 and use the far bus shelter to get into town. Yes, other Buses can do that too, I don't want to complicate things. Download Klapp app to buy smart tickets you can scan on the bus. 550 is the cost of one ticket and it's valid for over an hour, to use again and again. TBH there wasn't much to complain about.

Good hotel. Clean. Minimalist. Wasn't there much during hours bar was open. Easy to access and decent location.

Parking is only 16 spots. Another guest said that he tried for 5 days and never found a spot. Parked at the lot two blocks away but the payment machine did not work. I hope I don't get a fine.

Limited parking: if you arrive after 5pm you will not get a space. Only ever 1 member of staff around so not always someone when needed and need to rely on emailing. The fire alarm went off when we were at the hotel and no one informed us what was going on etc. This was a one off issue though and didn’t impact are stay too much.

At first we were disappointed with the hotel because it is situated on a very busy road and it is quite away out of downtown Reykjavík. Also, the room was in need of redecoration. Once we’d settled in, chatted to the lovely lady on the bar, had some breakfast, found a supermarket, worked out the buses and our bearings we were a lot happier with our choice. The staff couldn’t do enough to help us, we were able to eat our own food in the bar area, we were first pick up and drop off on the tours due to the hotels position and the breakfast was really good.

In need to a refurb.

The breakfast was amazing, the room was super clean and comfortable. High seeling provides amplitude to the room, which was not so big. Loved the interior design. Self-check-in was very convenient. Having dinner and drinks options at the hotel was very convenient too, the carbonara spaghetti was great.

We had some issues with regulating the heating temperature. It was way to hot and I would not change, even if we ajusted the heating manually. We had to leave the window ope to compensate. I'd suggest for them to leave some instructions on how to adjust the heater, not all clients come from countries where heaters a common.

We booked 2 family rooms for 2 nights last weekend as part of our trip to Iceland and it was ideal for us. We managed to have a parking space at the hotel which was great, breakfast was amazing and catered for everyone, rooms were clean comfortable. Check in and out was easy and we used the left luggage facility, we didn’t need to speak to a single member of staff as everything was perfect and easy to do. Thank you! Pizza place across the road and kebab shop up the road were both delicious. 24 hour supermarket 2 Mins away and less than 10 mins drive into Reykjavik.

Nothing! Was perfect for us.

The property was nice, as advertised, very clean, and easy to find and get to downtown Reykjavik by car within 5-7minutes. The breakfast was great for a continental selection. Coffee was great and they provided hot milk as well as oat milk and mocha and caramel syrup. We were very pleased with the Oddson and would return. Parking on the street was easy. The staff was mostly nice--Morning staff and housekeeping staff were sweet. We LOVED the heated floors in the bathroom and the nice, roomy shower!

The evening staff was a bit stuffy, didn't seem like they really wanted to be bothered, and most nights closed up 5 min before 10. My only real complaint, however were the hard, very firm beds-- felt like we were sleeping on bricks. Also, 2 pillows per bed would have been nice. We did get an extra pillow upon asking but if I had not brought my own travel pillow too, I'd have been sad to not have a third. Personal preference, but I like a cozy place to sleep. Also the blankets are HOT and no top sheet provided.

Breakfast has a great choice and buffet offerings are kept topped up, so always plenty available. Breakfast area constantly cleaned by staff, Plenty of eateries within walking distance, in fact, walking to Perlan or Downtown is easy. I even walked down to the old harbour area one evening. When the weather is poor there's a taxi rank across the road. The room can be warm, so just had the window open

Ordered a pizza from the bar that took 1hr 15mins to be served, and then it was doughy and cold, even after 2 reminders. Considered asking for a refund and going and getting a pizza to bring in from the pizza place 50m across the road. Was on rhe 2nd floor this visit, previously on the 5th floor. It was more noisey during the night both from the corridor and rooms above.

Hotel with self check in, very easy with all necessary information sent on time. No unnecessary fiddling with cards or keys. The room with a living room and a kitchen suited our needs and was exactly as shown in the photos. The beds in the room were comfortable, but the bunk bed creaked. Excellent breakfast, rich selection of dishes.

We had an early flight, but the breakfast staff told us that they didn't have the option of preparing a packed lunch instead of breakfast. It would be good to think about it, because there are refrigerators in which they could be stored.

This was a nice, small hotel out in the industrial/retail area of Reykjavik, so it was relatively quiet and though the hotel parking is limited, you can park in the business lot across the street at night. The room was nice, but small (the bathroom door was falling off the sliding track) and it was fairly quiet. The restaurant was handy when we got in quite late the night we arrived, and the breakfast buffet was good and the staff attentive. The location is a distance from town, but it is convenient if you are spending your days outside of town on roadtrips. There is also a grocery store nearby and outlets for some of the expensive Icelandic brands.

The rooms are a tight fit and the bathroom quite small and the view was of a business car park.
