Well maintained resort in a good location by the beach, friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well furnished.

Hotel had also been booked by a marriage party which created lot of noise and also seemed to have influenced the buffet menu for all the guests. The dining of the marriage party should have been arranged for separately. There should have been some check on the celebrations as the marriage ceremony caused lot of littering on the beach which was left as such leading to environmental damage.

The staff were super friendly, both at the reception and restaurant The room was large and very comfortable. It was amazing, and highly needed after a intense but amazing trip through india.

As a solo female traveling alone, i was harassed quite a lot at the beach, by local vendors. It would be nice if the hotel had a couple of deck chairs for their guests - so that they can leave beach towels and not get harassed. I was not able to relax as much as i wanted to on the beach, which is a massive shame.

It was my first time in Goa, and I traveled there alone. The very friendly and professional team of the hotel made my stay perfect. They paid attention in case I needed something, and they asked for daily feedback. The daily tasty buffet for breakfast and dinner was accompanied by live music. The spa services were also very nice and professional. The nearest beach is just in the backyard of the hotel - walking in the garden and going out from the hotel property, and you are on the Utorda beach directly. I'm immensely grateful to the hotel staff for making me feel so comfortable throughout my stay. Special thanks to Soumen, Leane, Josefen, Vijay, Akshay, Betty, Shridhar, and Jasmon for their outstanding hospitality and care. Their efforts truly made my Goa experience unforgettable.

Swimming pool is not big and deep enough. It is more for people who can not swim and for the kids.

Nestled along a pristine beachfront, the resort is beautifully maintained, with lush gardens and thoughtfully designed spaces that exude luxury and tranquility. I had the privilege of staying in the Royal Suite with a private pool, and it was absolutely amazing. The suite was spacious, elegantly furnished, and offered every comfort I could have asked for. The private pool was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in complete privacy. The spa at The Royal Orchid is a must-visit. The treatments were top-notch, and the skilled therapists ensured that I left feeling completely rejuvenated. The spa itself is a peaceful oasis Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat, or simply a luxurious escape, I cannot recommend The Royal Orchid Spa and Resort enough. It was a perfect stay, and I can't wait to return.

Although it didn't really dampen the experience, the rooms and facilities could do with a little maintenance. Some of the advertised information on the hotel website and booking.com is not updated or not accurate, for example, there's only 1 restaurant and not 4, karaoke, kids activities and other events are available only on advance group bookings, etc.

Royal Orchid Resort & Spa, an excellent hotel with wonderful staff and facilities, breakfast was superb and the staff were friendly and the Coffee bar made an excellent Latte. The room was superb value for the price and I can not fault the room it had everything, including a nice mini bar for kate night Movies lol, hopefully in the future we will return with our grandchildren as the pool, gardens and activities would be great for us all, well done to all at Royal Orchid

Nothing everything was perfect

The property is a little old and rooms a little outdated. However their winning points are their staff, service and location. What you miss in terms of luxurious room, you get more out of the location and the sprawling property greens outside the room. The beach adjacent to the property is pristine with clean sand. Fairly good for families as it’s not crowded. I’ll come back again to this property mostly because of one reason - their service manager Isha. She was highly professional, extremely diligent and made us feel like home. All our requests were catered to in the most time efficient manner. She made the stay extra special by looking up my birthday on the ID and getting us a cake and a fun decoration in the room - which my toddler thoroughly enjoyed. She was an efficient leader for their staff crew with impeccable hospitality skills!

Rooms could be more modern.

Very nice rooms with a great view of the pool area and facilities. The food and restaurant were very good with a decent selection at the buffets. Nice pool with fun kids' activities. Right on the beach front. The front desk lady is exceptional, very professional, and attentive. The security guard at the entrance is helpful with taxi rates and will help negotiate on guests' behalf.

The power went off a few times. Unfortunately, it took a bit too long for the hotel generators to kick in.

Staffs are courteous and very good...especially ISHA the GR & Franfhquina made us feel like family.God Bless all. Not to forget the House Keeping Staff..Fernando, Sachin and others too.

Lawns particularly at the backside are not maintained properly.Overall the property needs a kind of overhaul.Some kind of wire mess fencing at the outer bou dary opposite to rooms will add more secure quotient in the guest mindset.
