My second stay, longer this time, and again, my top review is: Great staff! So welcoming, down to earth. Mixed well with both the Indian and foreign guests, and as a result all the guests tended to mingle really well. In general the staff promoted a great vibe, professional, but chill, but also super helpful. The perfect balance. The space in general is super well laid out and good for hanging. Close access to local trains. Great dosa stand around the corner, and good street food otherwise en route to the train.

The bathrooms could use more frequent attention. They are generally clean enough, but they are always soaking wet, toilet seat included. The ventilation fans in the bathrooms should always be left on, rather than always being turned off by the staff. And just squeegee the floors constantly. That will help with humidity more generally. Also, the cleaning and cooking staff should be given real rooms to sleep in, those guys deserve some quiet private space ;)

Clean, well kept, separate mirror with sink from the toilet and bathroom (no long waiting lines for the bathroom). White and fresh blanket covers, looked so clean in the rooms :). Nice breakfast included in the kitchen.

I personally don't like it when a room doesn't have a window, which was the case here (none of the bedrooms have windows). But there is a good AC.

Really clean friendly place, the room was so comfortable and had great air conditioning too. The washrooms are maintained well and kept clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Trying the complementary breakfast is a must, it is simple and delicious. If you are looking for a stay in Mumbai on a budget this is the place for you. The only thing to bear in mind is the location in Santa Cruz can get very busy and if you are travelling in rush hour even in a rickshaw you will be sat in traffic- this isn’t really a reflection on Nap Manor though this is just how Mumbai is. In our opinion it is all part of the real Mumbaikar experience. Thank you Nap team ❤️

Located in busy area can by challenging to navigate to other places even a short distance away- again this is just a Mumbai thing!

The common areas are nice and they provided an area to store our bags after we checked out so we could go explore more before our flight.

The mixed 4 bed dorm is just too small. There's barely enough room to open your bag on the ground and can't open the door if someone is doing that. Would be much better as a 2 bedder for a more expensive fee.

My stay was incredibly pleasant, offering a warm and homely experience. It felt as though all the guests knew each other like close family, creating a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, treating us with the same care and attention as if we were part of their family. It truly made the stay feel special.The owners' personal involvement in hospitality truly made my stay feel like a home away from home. My heartfelt thanks to the management for such an exceptional experience. In all my travels across India, this is the first place that perfectly and honestly lives up to everything they advertise. The standout features were the street food visits, cinema time, game sessions, and much more. After a long, hectic day, these activities helped me unwind and relax, making it feel just like being at home.

Although the height of the bunk bed was a bit higher than normal still the ladder was easy and mattress were comfortable The toilets were spick and span and dried all the time .the morning breakfast was also good .checkin was smooth

There are no hangers to hang your clothes that uve worn for the day ....the lower cabinet can have a hanger option for people to hang their clothes......also there is no towel to wipe ur hands when u have washed the crockery you used ..this option is must required. option to dry wet clothes is available in the balcony at the back.

I recently stayed at Nap Manor and had a pleasant experience. The hostel is clean and well-maintained, which is always a top priority for me. The vibe is decent, but I was hoping for a more dedicated working space for those of us who need to work from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the Saturday night Bar Hopping activity, hosted by Prabha. She organized it fabulously and it turned out to be a memorable experience. Her effort definitely adds a revisit-worthy charm to the hostel. Overall, Nap Manor is a solid choice if you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, with some great social activities thrown in.

It is one of the best hostels I have ever been to, and after travelling for a month in India, experiencing more than 15 different stays, I can say by any doubt that this one was the best. Every hour there is somebody that is cleaning the common areas, dormitories are clean daily and there are so many bathrooms that you never have to wait to use it. Beds are very comfortable, the lockers are spacious and there is more than a socket for each person nearby each bed. Every day there is an activity organised by the hostel that you can join, and the staff is ready to help you anytime you need them. Super recommended!!:)

You don't really have a choice for breakfast, still a positive note is that they continue to provide food until the end. It is not possible to use the fires in the kitchen for cooking your own meals, but maybe it is just common in India to not do that, since I still haven't found a hostel that lets you use them (:

- Hostel was very clean and all the staff were super helpful - Very well located for the airport and to get around the city via auto rickshaw / Uber / train - Social activities ran by Prabha were excellent - I wouldn’t have seen Bandra or South Bombay by night otherwise and the tours were a good introduction to the city and a way to meet others in the hostel

- Dorms were very small and had no windows - Not the most comfy or chilled social area as music was always loud and not lots places to sit and socialise - Breakfast was very basic only some toast or black tea/coffee - would be nice to have milk or some other options

Mumbai is vast but it has a treasure - the trains will take you near and far, at speed and in comfort. So eschew the busy roads and set off on journeys of discovery and conversation by rail. Step out on foot to all the foodie delights but most of all seek out the fruit and the jewelled vegetables. Let them be lightly seasoned for the freshest flavour. Travel with a light heart and a light case and you will find Nirvana, almost. Of course, you will look for the dance and music festivals, classical and folk, try to decipher the newspapers and tune into the radio stations but you will check through the film listings for the most promising evening show. With a hot snack and drink, bliss will beckon.
