Beds were really comfortable, very happy with the curtains to close off your own bed from others. Location is really good, close to nice cafes and souvenir shops but it's the pricer side of rishikesh. The hostel has a nice lounge area with beds and plug sockets which is really nice if you want to read, do work or call a friend. They had filter water in the reception so you dont have to have to buy water which I really appreciated. Staff were super friendly and really helpful for recommending things to do and see. Early check in was a godsend as the night busses from dehli get in really early in the morning.

The hostel is up a steep slope with a few steps up, in monsoon it can be super slippery to walk up and down. The layout of the room means you have to keep the bed curtains open a bit if you want to feel the fan, but if others are still awake it means the light comes through which can get annoying.

It was one of the best experiences I've had while traveling. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff, especially Anchal, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The facilities at the hostel were top-notch. Clean rooms that provided plenty of privacy and comfort. What really set this hostel apart, however, was the sense of community that it fostered. There were plenty of opportunities to meet other guests and get to know them over a cup of tea, and the staff went out of their way to organize events and activities that brought everyone together. Overall, I can't recommend this hostel enough. Whether you're a solo traveler looking to make new friends, or a group of friends on a budget, this hostel has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. If you're looking for a great hostel experience, look no further than this gem!

Fantastic staff very welcoming and helpful, and amazing cleaning staff keeping everything so nice :) great location a little off the main road so out of the noise and a lovely view from the cafe with great staff upstairs also - the female dorm was on the small side and with only one fan it created a very hot and uncomfortable sleep unfortunately, just to note as the temperatures start to rise

Owner/Management - needs to add more value to the rooms that is seen in most other hostels at the same price. The bed was the worst I had come across in three months in India, and the female dorm being a tiny room with six and only one very inefficient ceiling fan, at the very least each bed needs a little fan - two basic things that most hostels have all over india

location is awesome , staff helped me , i could fill bottles for water all the time. the terrence has a great view and a nice place to meet people.

the kitchen there didn't supply the best service , a loy of stuff is missing from the menu , they also didnt talk english. during my stay , my friend took ownership , so it should be ok from now ! in the shower , partial of the time , i didn't have hot water , so be sure to check with the staff.

Family like atmosphere, great hospitality, super terrace with beautiful view, great food. Second time we stayed here, we will stay there again next time for shure. Laxman Jula bridge is closed, they start to build a new bridge. So if you come by car drive one of two kilometer ahead, there is a bridge for cars. If you are walking, go RamJula bridge, then it‘s two kilometer to Skyard.

This is the hostel to stay at, as a solo traveller, my experience at this hostel was excellent! Although I booked for 3 days but extended for one more day because it is a great place to stay in. First and foremost, the staff was the nicest staff I've ever encountered, they're very hospitable, especially Anchal who helped me with everything throughout my trip, he's so friendly, and there for every need of mine. He went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. Thank you so much Anchal. Secondly, the dorms were clean and even the bathrooms were in good condition, with all the amenities they provided. They had a common room where you can just chill, read books, or play indoor games with your group! It's really a great place to chill and enjoy especially when you're with your group/friends! They even have a rooftop cafe which is the best part, the atmosphere and the service were great! You'll get almost everything on the menu, and with the view it's a great experience, watching the Ganges river from the top, the view from the cafe is to die on, it's honestly THE BEST! I spent most of my time at the rooftop watching the view with the tasty foods! The location is near Laxman Jhula but since it's under construction of a new and a "modern" bridge in its place, it's a bit hard to cross over to the other side, you'll have to cross via Ram jhula which is just 2kms away from the property. Lastly, you'll find most of the top-rated cafes with the riverside view which are really close by the hostel, most of them are 5-10mins within walking distance from the hostel. Overall, the best hostel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at. The service was exceptional and I highly recommend anybody to this hostel visiting Rishikesh! Thank you Skyard, Laxman Jhula.

There's nothing to dislike about it, everything was exquisite!

I stayed in Skyard for 10 days. My initial plan was to stay only for 2 days but i really enjoyed staying in this hostel. Rooftop view is cherry on the cake. Loved sitting on the rooftop at night. Additionally, staff is very friendly and polite. Will for sure stay there again.

Skyard can be improve on additional facilities and hygiene part as it was the primary concern for everyone who stayed in dormitory.

The hostel was good. The staff - Anchal and Ashu - were very helpful and they always had solution for everything. The views from the rooftop cafe are amazing. The location is perfect if you don't mind climbing up many stairs :))

Unfortunately there weren't many people so that's why there were no yoga classes or organized excursion available. The offer was there but since nobody wanted to join, it wasn't happening which was quite a shame. The room was good, basic and clean. Some shelves or small cupboard would be appreciated though.

Staff is really nice, helpfull, friendly. The place is nice specially for workout lol stairs killed me 🤣 but in mountain we have to climb! Location est good, near the main street.

Not so much, I was in a dorm and it's not really my energy to share my privacy with 5 others people. It was missing 2 boxes to put the stuff safe (6 beds only 4 boxes) then I have to take with me my small bag everywhere even in the shower lol Rules was not respected by the guests, I practice yoga as a philosophy of live and my roomate has a whisky bottle down my bed so it was little disturbing for me to share this energy... But nothing about the place or staff all good 👍
