The hotel was great and staff super friendly. Our room was very nice and spacious, and also perfectly clean. The food in the restaurant was very good and a lot to choose from. The location is also great as everything is nearby. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, which we did, thanks again to all staff 🙏🏻 We definitely recommend!

The one and only suggestion we can give is to find something that helps against the little bit of humidity in the room. Of course, we we're there in the raining season, so it might be better during summer.

Well maintained, Clean, Friendly Staff, Good food, Instant Hot water in showers and tap. Very good location to use as base camp for boating, Kalari show, Elephant rehab centre and the town itself.

WiFi didn’t work as advertised. There is good 5G coverage from Jio in the area. Some cottages are quite high up in the slope. If you have breathing issues to climb stairs, ask for something closer to ground.

The place is very beautiful with a very calm atmosphere and very well-maintained.

The food at the hotel could have been better and it was also quite expensive, as we had to pay 2000 for a bottle of water. Moreover, on the night we stayed there, there was a wedding taking place in the hotel. Unfortunately, nobody had informed us about it beforehand, so we ended up in the middle of a very noisy wedding celebration. This was particularly unfortunate as we had planned to rest that night and wake up early the next day for a hike.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the town and wildlife reserve. The staff were very friendly and helpful even making us a packed lunch as we had an early start when we left. The rooms were really good and it felt like you were actually sat in the forest. The food was some of the best we had on our whole trip and all the ingredients, herbs and spices are grown organically in their own garden

I liked the greenery, lush & awesome. The service, organised team. Exceptional service. Ambience is superb, heavenly.

Restaurant too high up for me to climb. The cobble stone pathway, as it was not senior friendly, which didn't work for me.

Very calm place surrounded by nature in its original form. Lush green around. Have lots places outside the room to mingle with nature ex.. the smaller farm they have inside.

In my view, it's certainly not value for money. Absolutely no ROOM SERVICE. They claim they have but when you order, you will need to literally go to the restaurant to pick your order. Even coffee tea takes lots of time. They clean room at their convenience. Bath consumables are second or third class. Taking 50 steps to climb to most rooms make it tiring when room service is so pathetic.

Everything, from the property to the people, were exceptional. It's a very beautiful and picturesque infrastructure. Pricing for the rooms and the food are very reasonable. On season days, pricing goes up with dynamic pricing - so how and when we book matters. They have lovely walkways, spa, bunnies, vegetable garden, organic farm etc. Loved the importance they give to nature. Usually when there are multiple trees, there would be a lot of bugs. Here, the bugs was there outside (even monkeys) but the rooms were kept exceptionally clean. Breakfast spread was good. We had to leave early and they packed us sandwiches and fruits as we couldn't have a proper breakfast. Room service was quick. Evening snacks and coffee, tea were served by the pool. Bar is available. Staff was very courteous. Our stay was not for long. I have been on multiple trips and have stayed in five properties in thekkady, so far. This and another property, tops my list, on best stays at thekkady! Definitely will stay here again.

None. There are few steps here and there and it was a bit difficult for the elders. But after climbing, all they had to say was that "it was worth it" coz they loved the property!

The breakfast was very good, and the sambar was really authentic (being a Keralite, I understand this pretty well). The selection could have been a bit more wider, eg. include baked beans, sausages, bacon, smoked salmon etc etc.

Dinner - I ordered the Kerala style fish curry, and what I got was definitely not an authentic Kerala style one. Also, the fish could have been locally caught (from the Periyar dam).
