Very close to beach and turtle observation. Hospitable owner, offering tips and suggestions whilst on the island. Private salt water pool was a delight to go into at night. Very clean. Enjoyable private part- outside bathroom, attached to bedroom. Nicely done.

The location was fantastic—set just off the main street, so you won’t be disturbed by the late-night music from the clubs, yet still very close to the beach (approximately 100 meters away). Gili T's nightlife can get pretty lively and at the same time, you would probably not like to stay in an isolated area far from the swimmable beach and other attractions. Considering this, I would say that Villa Rika was ideal. The hosts are great, very welcoming and kind. We lived in the 2-bed villa with a private pool and the kids loved it. The place feels nice and secure. There is a small breakfast available as well. Nothing too grand but good to get you going.

everything was great , maybe they should provide more kitchen supplies so you can cook but other than that everything was perfect and clean. owner and the staff was so helpful . so l lost my necklace at the place l noticed after l lefted island . they found and send me especially Edy did so much effort to make this happen with no trouble 🙏 l am extra thankful for that. next time l come to Gili T l know already where l will stay .. no question 🙏

There was nothing not to love! The location was perfect, 100m from the beach, close to the main strip for shopping and restaurants/cafes…but at the quiet end of the island so still very little noise other than the clip clopping of horse carts going by. The rooms were spacious and clean, we loved the indoor/outdoor shower in the bathroom. The grounds and pool were immaculate. George, the owner, was welcoming and friendly, great for a chat, in fact all of the staff were lovely. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again😊

First of all, this is not my first time travelling to Gili. The common issue in the island is hot water and cleanliness of the accommodation. Also, if you are travelling to Gili for the first time, it can be overwhelming with the amount of travelling and planning. With that being said, the villa is about 15 to 20 mins walk from the harbour, depends on how fast you walk. So if you have many suitcases or travelling with big suitcase, please manage your expectations. You can find it from the map, which makes it so much easier. When you arrive at the villa, we were greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner himself, Jeorge, and Sara. They serve us cold water to wash down the overwhelming experience from the boat and heat from walking. All the tiredness gone away the moment we sat down. Check in experience was nothing less than perfect. He explained the island and gave us many recommendations, which were all amazing. He also let us know the fair prices of the activities in the island so you wont be overcharged by the organisers. I strongly recommend to follow his recommendations unless you have things planned yourself. The room was comfortable. There were 3 of us, w booked 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Room is spacious for all our items. Very safe surroundings but of course always becareful. The location itself was in front of the turtle swimming spot. Plenty of places offers bicycle and snorkling trips. If you walk for 3 minutes from the villa towards the beach, on your right hand side you will find a small dodgy looking booth. We book private snorkeling from them, expected nothing. But we ended up had the best experience we can ever asked for. My friend doesnt know how to swim, was looked after her very well throughout the snorkeling experience. No negotiation needed, they offer very fair rate. Dont judge a book by its cover. Overall, I honestly think our stay was that much better because of Jeorge and Sara. Thanks for looking after me and my friends!

We had a great time at Villa Rika and can highly recommend to stay there. It is a lovely designed, clean and comfy place with a very welcoming atmosphere. The hosts are very attentive, showed great hospitality and gave us helpful tips regarding e.g. ferry transport, restaurants, etc. All in all, this made us feel a little bit at home at Gili T for a week of holiday. Thank you very much! The place was very clean, the bed and pillow were comfortable, the room spacious. Villa Rika is nearby the main beach front of Gili T with a lot of shops, restaurants and bars, but nonetheless quiet as it is not located in the middle of the night life of Gili T. We enjoyed that location a lot as we were close enough to everything, but far enough away to have a calm and quiet place to stay. The beach nearby Villa Rika is great for snorkeling and you have a high chance to see turtles. The breakfast was simple, but good and provided a smooth start of the day. After all, cannot name anything negative and can only highly recommend this location. We would definitely book it again!

Very comfortable, clean and well maintained property. Comfy beds, excellent breakfast. George and his wife are excellent hosts, and their staff did everything to make our stay comfortable. George gave excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit on the island. In just about 100 meters from the hotel we found the most amazing snorkeling - we were swimming with sea turtles and all kinds of beautiful tropical fish. Highly recommend Villa Rika, would love to come.back again!

We stayed 4 nights at Villa Rika and it was amazing. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and felt immediately at home. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The owners gave us many recommendations about what to do around the island, which is always great and helpful. The location is nice too, because the turtle point is very close by. Another advantage is that the noise of the mosques are not that loud here. You can hear them, but that is everywhere on Gili T. It did not bother us at all. We would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for the great time!

We stayed at Vila Rika for 3 days (not more, unfortunately!!!!). Everything was amazing, starting with the sympathy of the couple Jorge and Sara. Always open to help, super friendly, creating an amazing atmosphere around. I went with a friend and I wanted to do a surprise to her as it was her birthday. Jorge was increadibly nice in buying a traditional Portuguese birthday cake and we sang all together the birthday song and drink a beer. The location is simply perfect, you are in the centre just walking between 5-10mins, not noisy at all (if you stay in the center center, you might have noise coming from restaurants and bars). As we have just a few days in there we didn’t use the swimming pool but we could see it was being clean everyday. Seems pretty nice if you can use it. Overall our experience was 💯 positive and we would definitely come back. Thanks to Jorge and Sara again for being such great hosts!!!

Extremely well located villa (literally 3min walking from the turtle point in Gili T)! Owners and staff are super welcoming and helpful. They had great recommendations for food places (including the best local food we tried in Gili T), things to do around the island, where to rent bikes, snorkeling equipment, etc. Room was spacious, comfortable, clean and beautiful. Open air shower was cute and breezy :) Breakfast was simple but tasty with amazing local coffee. Would love to come back!

The Wi-Fi was a bit weak in the room, but it honestly encouraged us to disconnect from our phones, so maybe a good thing!
