First impressions - magnificent! Great staff mannerisms, very helpful and kind. Location close to airport, beautiful pool, building all clean and tidy and superb value for money. Very quiet and serene room with everything I needed

Compared to the beautiful property and rooms, the bathroom was a huge let down. Poor shower head, smelly drains and although the ventilation seemed on, it didn’t remove the foul smell. The neighbourhood is full of stray dogs who bark menacingly at passer-bys. For me this is a deal breaker. I may need to leave the hotel because of this..

Stayed 1 night before a morning flight. Booked just the day before and they still had rooms available. I thought I would hear planes flying above all the time, but actually it was quiet at night. The airport is just a 15-mins walk, doable with luggage. This is much better than worrying as to how long it would take to get to the airport from Ubud by car (I stayed the previous nights at Ubud, but chose to stay close to the airportthe last night). The room was fine, the anti mosquito appliance was provided. The hotel had a small garden with some traditional structures/temples with beautiful carvings.

I had little time, walked around the hotel but somehow didn't find the swimming pool. The toiletries were provided in some old bottles which didn't look nice, I preferred using my own. No mini-fridge in the room.

The property is close to the airport. The room was spacious and had everything I needed for a short stay. The kettle and coffee in the room was a bonus. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. The property is very unique and gives you a real Bali feel. I loved the numerous little temples and the authentic Balinese architecture. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Because it is so hidden from any main roads, it was very quiet and peaceful.

Providing 2 towels per room will be a great help, especially on rainy days when towels don't dry very quickly. The information book pages were torn and had seen better days. Perhaps tell guests that you need to ask for the room to be cleaned, I only saw the small print in the book after the fact. The gorgeous buildings/temples will present better if everything lying around is stored away and dirty linen kept somewhere out of the public eye.

It's an ideal location for a late arrival and/or early departure as it's very close to the airport. Check-in at 1 am was very friendly and quick. Quiet location. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was served promptly (we made our selection at check in) near the reception area. Water dispenser in the lobby. Glas water bottle in the room. It's a family property with Balinese Tempel and bale. I would stay at the Kutaya again.

Stayed twice at Kutaya Hotel, and on every visit we stayed for up to 2 weeks. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed, the stunning view, the pool just outside my room, the cleanliness, and the room service. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the beach, easy access to the supermarket, warongs for local food & beautiful surroundings, It made exploring the area very convenient. Overall, my stay was incredibly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend The Kutaya to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay that nearer to the airport. The hotel is located about 10 min walking from the airport which is convenient especially when you arrive at night. There is 24 hours front desk to help with check in at any time (much appreciated). I liked the territory of the hotel, decorations and the pool. It was beautiful and refreshing after long flight. The rooms are accurate and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Great value for money!

The towels were worn and had turned grey, likely from frequent washing. There was also a slight smell in the bathroom. The reception staff were not as welcoming as we had hoped. However, these were minor issues, especially considering the very affordable price.

Very clean and organised.

I love the vibe of the The Kutaya. I always stay here on each visit to Bali for a few days, it is so convenient and close to the airport. The staff are amazing, always smiling and make you feel so welcome. Check in is always easy and quick and your bags are taken to your room and the services are explained to you. I always request a ground floor room by the pool if available. The pool is lovely all one depth and has a ladder for access...it is very refreshing. The rooms at The Kutaya are basic but mine included Tea/coffee, water, WiFi, cold fridge, comfortable bed and pillows, clean sheets and towels for the most relaxing sleep. The hotel is also very quiet in the evening. There is a restaurant on site with many little warungs close by also Lippo Mall is only a few minutes walk. I love this area there are more local families living along the laneways. The Kutaya Hotel also has a temple on site and the staff are more than happy to explain to you their culture. I truly always love my stays at The Kutaya, while very simple, it is the most comfortable homestay I have stayed in while in Bali and I certainly will return.

I LOVE everything about The Kutaya.

We only stayed one night as a stop over and wanted to be near the airport which we were. We booked a Superior Double, including breakfast. The room was simple, clean and adequately furnished. The ensuite shower was hot (once you ran it for a while) and we had air conditioning and a small fridge which was a bonus. The pool and grounds were lovely and interesting and just like the photos, we were sorry we couldn’t stay longer. If you are looking for something friendly, clean, safe and secure on a great budget, we would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing, this was a great little place that's value for money.

I stayed here the night before flying home. It is very close to the airport and by taxi (which the hotel helped me organise in the morning), it was less than 40k to go the airport. The staff were so helpful. I had accidentally packed my key from my previous accommodation and I realized half a hour before leaving for the airport. They thought of the idea to use Gojek to send the key to my previous accommodation and helped me organise it.

The bathroom is very basic and had a bit of a drain smell.
