Great spot! Room was clean and the bed was large and comfy. Pool was clean and nice (but cold!). Staff were very polite and friendly, learnt our names and took great care of us.

The shower in our room didn’t drain properly and we often had a flooded bathmat. The flooding got worse the longer we stayed. Pool temperature was cold!

This was our first stay in Bali and the Aston Kuta Hotel couldn't have done more for us making us feel very welcome. Bali had suffered greatly during Covid and in general was working hard to bring the tourists back and to welcome them. The hotel should be very proud of the hard work of their staff. From the reception area through to the restaurant and room servicing. The breakfast each day was just magical catering for all taste buds including mine which over many years has been very limited. Kristin would welcome us every morning with that genuine I'm glad to see you smile along with Widia who also enlarged the welcome. Erick the head chef went table to table ensuring all guests were looked after and seeing what he could do to make your stay a great one in every aspect of the food provided. Nothing was too much trouble to him and he should be commended for his dedication to his work and for often going one step beyond the norm. Arsa the restaurant manager always kept a close eye on the overall operation ensuring it was well run at all times. The hotel manager who looked after us for our accommodation should also be mentioned and thank you for making our stay there as best possible. We will return and would recommend this hotel to other would be travelers to Bali. Ken and Deborah

good location . about 5 min walk to the beach . across the road was the massage place . 10 Min to the airport & 5 min walk to Catholic Church.The breakfast spread suitable for vegetarian as well .However all the 4 days we stayed, the breakfast was the same every day . just one or two dishes different . We stayed in the family room , the bed were good but the bathroom needed a little uplift. The toilet bowl’s flushing system was leaking water . There is a balcony at our unit facing the pool,but it was locked up without being able to unlock. However the staffs are wonderful. polite & helpful .

Great location, very friendly and nice personnel. The breakfast was good as well - there was always big choice of different foods, drinks, desserts. Additionally if you go for the lunch or the dinner in the hotel you will be offered with the discount, which made the prices very attractive. The room was comfortable and the cleaning was done by the hotel's stuff on daily basis when we were out, which was very convenient. Very pleasant experience overall! :)

The quality of the refrigerator in the room was not the best, but it was not the issue for sure and sufficient for keeping few drinks/food cool. Otherwise nothing else to criticize.

The staff and service are amazing. We were in a 3 bedroom apartment for 7 nights with my husband, adult daughter and elderly father which was huge with lots of space. Rooms are big and we didn't feel as though we were in each other's space. Although the apartment was run down and dated, it had all the facilities we needed and the cleaning service was immaculate and made the room comfortable for us. They are in the process of renovating all the rooms but with around 208 rooms to renovate, they said it will take 2-3 years. But don't worry, there is no noise or inconvenience with the renos going on. We honestly felt like VIP guests staying there with the service from all the staff, even though we're normal everyday people on a break from the craziness of life back in Melbourne. Completely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay close to the hustle and bustle of Kuta but away from the noise from the clubs.

The staff was amazing! Easy check-in and check-out. Restaurant crew was respectful and made sure we get what we need. We set our room in do not disturb light and the housekeeping’s gesture to slip notes to remind us that we can call them anytime we need help to clean the room is really appreciated. Great location too!

We eat in the same table for the whole stay and spilled some chocolate on the table mat, it wasn’t cleaned until our last day. I suggest to have more vegetarian options in the restaurant.

good location to go around Kuta and close to airport, surprisingly you never hear the noice of the airplane. you can walk to the beach to catch the sunset. fair breakfast, complete with fruits, traditional snack, good coffee as well 😊

the elevator need to be fixed, sometimes the door not closing eventhough we press the intended floor, this is making worry how if the elevator stop in the middle. kid's club not open yet, while this is one of my reason to choose this hotel because I'm travelling with my kids.

I stayed at the Aston Kuta Hotel and Residence in September and October 2024 4 times - for a total of 7 days. The hotel stands out from other hotels with a similar number of stars. The hotel service is impeccable, both at the basic level (security, cleaning), technical (I used the bathtub drain repair), and competent reception. The rooms are large (I rented a family room and a Deluxe double room), functional (in terms of furniture, including a large wardrobe, desk, space for suitcases, excellent beds, etc.), safe (protected corridors) and (despite the renovation in one wing) surprisingly clean. Cleanliness is a significant advantage of this hotel. But not only. The location is good, because it is a kilometer to the airport (as the crow flies), and 200 meters to the beach. The large and - most importantly - well-kept swimming pool attracts attention. The restaurant available non-stop has a wide range of meals at decent prices. However, the breakfasts are the record. They are absolutely great. They are varied (for every European and Asian palate) and served wonderfully - in the form of a "swedish buffet". It is impossible to think of a flaw, well, maybe apart from the periodic noise related to the renovation, but this is probably a temporary flaw.

It's very close to the airport, which made my first time coming to bali easy. The hotel itself is absolutely 100% a great place to stay. Room was fantastic, ground level we stayed so having the pool right outside the door was perfect. The food/ buffets, dinner on the roof top is so so good. All of it! Now about the staff; do u enjoy nice people? This hotel has the friendly most happiest people ever. I've never been more impressed by staff anywhere elsewhere . Thank you !!
