I stayed for 1 night before I departed from Bali, as the hotel is close to the airport. The room was nicely decorated and in keeping with the Bali theme whilst having modern luxuries. My room opened directly to the pool area, which was handy. The pool has a nice depth and size with an additional in-water elevated 'lounger type area' which would be fabulous on a hot/sunny day. The pool's waterfall feature was soothing and meant any street traffic noise was at an absolute minimum (TBH, I don't recall hearing any traffic) The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, offered a huge selection of hot and cold options and was tasty. There's a fantastic dining/drinking area at the front of the restaurant, which is roadside - where a few tables/chairs sit in ankle-deep water, meaning you get to soak your feet whilst eating/drinking and watching the passersby....I enjoyed sitting here on my last night in Bali. The Margaritas are superb, and the complimentary taxi service to the airport was a bonus, making the whole transfer seamless and hassle-free!

If I was staying in Kuta a little longer, I would have preferred to be located nearer the hub of Kuta, with better beach/beaches.

Breakfast was good. Well balanced choice of offerings. Some of the utensils used to serve made it difficult to serve myself. For instance, the spoon for butter was challenging and your knives do not easily cut the crust of the artisan breads, making my poached eggs fly off the toast when trying to cut. I left my table briefly to get an entree. The server could easily have seen me doing so. She removed all of my dishes, including my coffee and water. When I went to get more coffee there were five others waiting to use the machine, so I opted to have tea. This was not good. Also, when I asked the server for a steak knife for the bread she just brought another unsharp standard knife. Had a slab of your signature ribs...they were very good. Tender, meaty, with a very tasteful glazed sauce. The pool is excellent...very well maintained. Some guests being allowed to leave personal items on lounges early, then disappearing, should not be allowed as it can be difficult to obtain one for many guests. Room service was excellent, Staff very friendly and attentive. Kuta is not to my personal liking. I do not do well to being pestered by every person trying to sell me something, some even grabbing my arm trying to lure me in as I pass by on the street. This has destroyed Kuta other than being close to the airport, I see no reason to return. I really enjoyed my stay at your hotel. Thank you for a great experience.

Kuta in general. Being accosted to buy just about everything under the sun is so annoying. Some even now physically grab you to pull you into their shops. When you reject some say very negative things in Bahasa...terrible. Prostitution seems unchecked later at night. This is not a good family destination with kids. The only reason I would ever return is because of airport closeness and ease of departing.

It was close proximity to the beach, 10 mins walk at Discovery mall. There is also Lippo mall right across the street. The supermarket was right downstairs from the mall. I felt safe, comfortable, and relaxed. Staff was extremely friendly, complimentary transportation to and from airport, and complimentary breakfast. I selected this location because it was close to the airport. it takes approximately 10-20 mins depending on traffic. Had an amazing experience, can book tours through the hotel. Security helps you to cross the street and housekeeping does an exceptional job everyday cleaning my room. Had the view of the pool, and the landscape was beautiful with the flowers, plants and trees. Spa treatments are spectacular. 24-hour check-in available. Airport pick-up. Great location; near to shops and airport. Sustainable materials were used for toiletries, such as soap and dental kits. Convenient money changer at the hotel lobby. It was the same rate as others offered around Kuta. Friendly staff.

The bar soap got thrown out and replaced after each daily cleaning service, which was totally unnecessary. Rooms were not sound proof; could hear other guests walking by. Noise from outside. Live music from Lippo Mall was audible between 7.30-10pm.

The property itself is very nice the interior of the hotel is lovely and clean and smells fresh. The lobby is open so you can see the pool out the back. The restaurant is clean and the food is okay. Including the breakfast it has many options. The staff are nice and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Location is also great right across the road is a shopping centre with a cinema and outside is many food trucks ranging from Mexican food American food and Indonesian food. Your within walking distance of many restaurants and side shops. There is a small Vietnamese restaurant only 2/3 mins walk down the street and it is SO cheap and amazing food definitely go there. The pool is very nice and pleasing water is a good temperature and big enough for a good swim. The sun loungers are nice and comfortable with bean bags also.

Few things that I didn’t like. Our room was nice but the bathroom smelled really bad every time we had a shower. Or went to the toilet, it seems there is a problem with the drain or something like that because it can get very bad and noticeable. If anyone from the hotel sees this it is room 406. It might need to be checked. Also if your a big sunbather make sure to get in early as there is only one real section of the pool area that gets sun for the majority of the day. It is the top right of the pool area.

We stayed at the Vira Bali after a late flight into Denpasar. We appreciated the free airport shuttle, friendly staff, and very good buffet breakfast, with eggs cooked to order and great bread. Lunch at the restaurant was good, too. Location is across from a mall with a grocery and a SIM card store. Two banks with ATMs are just down the street. A good place to stay a night or two to get after-arrival necessities.

The property is aging and could use some paint and freshing up. Very busy area.

This is a nice and comfy hotel, ideal for your stay close the catch your (return) flight. A short walk to the beach, and plenty of small shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. If you need 4 beds, they gladly give you adjoining rooms (with a door connecting) with a king bed and 2 twins: ideal for families. Quiet rooms. Very comfy beds. Clean and fully functional bathroom with great shower. Breakfast is excellent. The taxi service to and from the airport is very helpful.

There is really nothing not to like. If it is a bit too pricey: their last minute pricing is certainly acceptable!

The property was in an amazing location, walking distance to many restaurants, money exchanges, laundries, discovery mall, the beach and market stalls. The staff were very lovely and accomodating to any requests. The room was extremely clean and just big enough for 3 adults. The pool area was clean and spacious enough for the guests. The buffet breakfast range was small but had all the staples for a delicious breakfast.

The only negative about the hotel was the pool area not having enough sun. The only area which had sun was a small corner pocket and the top pool. However, it worked for the amount of guests at the hotel.

The location was great, pool was super fun to swim in and the staff were great. The security were very sweet and would always look out after my friend and I when we would leave the resort.

The only thing we didn't like was that we could literally hear everything our neighbors were saying and doing

The location is convenient and the staff were super friendly. The size of the room was also great.

My room had a mild damp smell, and the pool pumps are quite loud, which was an unexpected way to wake up in the morning.
