Location was great for our family. 5 minutes walk to Waterbom Bali and Discovery Mall, and a couple of good restaurants. There’s also Bagus Laundry right around the corner—they clean and iron your clothes and pack them neatly in a plastic bag ready to go in your suitcase! The double bunk bed room seemed more spacious than the photos and very functional. Our room had slippers, toiletries, kettle, tea/coffee and free mineral water. Hair dryer can be borrowed from the reception. Great value for money.

There were a few cushions on the floor instead of a sofa (which makes the room nice and spacious), so we wanted to sit on the carpet to relax but it was stained and not very clean. Perhaps they could change it to something so that people would take their shoes off. Also a towel rack by the sink would be nice.

The warm hospitality from the friendly and kind staff. They also had the best breakfast and things like macarons and juice for their welcome drinks and every evening we get a couple of really nice dark chocolate.

You can see water damages on the walls and ceilings around the hotel and in our room. It didn’t bother us (as we were on a discounted rate) but it’s just not ecstatically pleasing to see. The rooms are not soundproof so you could hear the room right next to you and we got the room facing the pool and the sound from the pool amplified into the room. Doesn’t bother us in the day as we were rarely in the room but once we go to bed and everything is silent in our room you can hear everything but not the traffic though (I’m not sure if that’s the case with the rooms facing the road). It doesn’t happen every night. It depends on the other guests. You might be unlucky like me and get the loud ones who goes to bed pretty late. I suggest to bring along your ear plugs.

Nice spacious rooms with comfy beds, bathroom with bathtub. Bath gel supplied. Wifi and airco worked fine. Breakfast was of good quality and choice was variable. Standard one got a fruit salad and a warm bun with butter. Choice between one of egg dish / pancake dish / Indonesian dish (nasi goreng, mee goreng, soto ayam, nasi kuning). 5 minutes walking to Discovery Mall, 10-15 minutes walking to Lippo Mall, 15 minutes walking to Beachwalk Shopping Center, 20-30 minutes walking to Mal Bali Galeria. Cineplex @ Lippo Mall opens after 13:00. Sportsbars, eateries, minimarkets, moneychangers, "tour operators" are all around. Food at Gabah restaurant was very good. Taxi to airport: ask hotel staff to fetch you a Bluebird Group taxi; they've got and use a meter.

The incomplete standard facilities: no refrigerator in Room 243 and 127, no working desk and chair in Room 127. The elevator does not have access control and card system The towels are worn out The dark and trash-smell basement The heavy and uncomfortable chairs at the reception area The freezing swimming pool and there is no changing room in the swimming pool area The ‘surreal’ placement of toilet paper holder in Room 243. The absence of security/staff at night. I could enter the dark, total empty lobby at 2AM and access the elevator without any security system. If a hotel guest, so would everybody.

It is good value for money and in a very handy locations. I would totally come back!!

Address on Google maps/ Booking is incorrect and a nightmare!!! The hotel is in front of the Melasti Beach Bungalow. Google / Booking has two addresses and it will send a driver to the middle of the road in front of to Bali Garden Beach Resort. Took 10 minutes to get to from Airport to Kuta. Took 15 minutes and taxi driver asking around to find the place. If you are a solo female traveller at night and no one can find your hotel, and you have to try contact the hotel for directions, it is not pleasant. I had the same problem ordering a Grab or Gonek driver (they had to get in touch to find the place due to incorrect info). So for ease I had to give the Melasti address.

There was a lot of noise (music) outside our room so they upgraded us from our Queen Victoria room. The new room was excellent and we had no complaints. The guard outside was hotel was extremely hospitable and courteous.

Room, breakfast and location was excellent.

Good location not far from the beach, lots of places to eat/shop nearby. Staff very friendly and always greeted with a smile :)

We had a room not directly facing the road yet it was still very loud with road noise and music from surrounding bars. Our room also had a window that had a huge gap in, making noise even worse. It didn’t feel like the cleanest place, our bathroom had a few hairs etc when we arrived. The bathroom also needs some work - we had a shower over the bath that was about waist height so couldn’t be used as a shower, and also no shower curtain. But ok value for money in the expensive Kuta area!

I chose Yan's because of its location, very convenient to go back and forth to my event's location by walking across. The cleanliness was great. And because it's quite new property, the rooms were minimalistic, comfy and functional. The space was enough, not too small. Though there were some problems, the staffs were responsive and gave us better solutions. Their services were also one of them that made our stays comfortable.

Our first room had problem with its aircon so we spent a night in a hot room and endless noise coming from the aircon. Wish the night-shift staff was proactive enough to change our room that night. But we got the substitute the next day instead. However, the next days were excellent!

Great position right on road surrounded by very good restaurants and warungs, shopping and day spas. Room was exactly as pictured in advertising. Wardrobe had six coathangers and shelving and standard hotel safe. Laundry service charged by the item. No fridge but tea and coffee making facilities. glasses and bottled water in bathroom for cleaning teeth, hand wash, body wash and shampoo and tissues in bathroom. rain fall shower head and very good water pressure. room very clean and serviced daily. key card entry and alarm if you leave room with key still inside or the door has not locked properly. Bed comfortable. flatscreen TV large Mirror. I purchased a 19ltr bottle of water and usb pump with tap and hired an esky with ice from Bali drinks services who deliver to the hotel and then collect esky when finished. no bottle opener in room but reception provided. Handmade chocolates delivered to the room each night. 24 hour reception however overnight is more of a security type person rather than receptionist. Most staff have enough English to get you by, all staff very friendly all areas very clean. breakfast nice with English and Indonesian selections. small serving compare to Australian breakfast. Coffee is great. Terrace cafe and cafe graffiti downstairs both good food and cheap prices. Air-conditioner in room works well, key card must be put in the slot for power, however air-conditioner works regardless. Pool is cold and refreshing but ladders and pool deck in disrepair, not a place you want to hang out as no sun lounges or pool towels, just tables and chairs, but good to get wet the end of the day. Across the road from the beach with access available approx 100m in either direction. Plenty of taxis and shopping. Rooms that face the street would be noisy. My room was on second level (lift) overlooking pool and I didn’t hear a thing. Some scratching on outside wall which I assume was squirrels or birds nesting. Felt very safe as a solo traveller here.
