Rooftop pool with bar, adults only, with an amazing view of the sunset over the ocean. The pool is clean and a perfect temperature. The cocktails were delicious and very reasonably priced. You could order with your room number, so no need to bring cash or a card up to the pool. 4 cocktails came to less than $30AUD! The room was very comfortable. The airconditioning worked well. The only issues were a bit of mould around the base of the shower, and a barely equipped minibar (it would have been nice to have some milk available for a morning coffee). The staff were absolutely lovely. They helped me out with a power adaptor for my phone charger in the middle of the night. The Balinese hospitality is world class! If there's something you need help with, they will bend over backwards to find a solution for you. A buffet breakfast is such a great way to begin your day, and this was a requirement for me when deciding where to stay. They provided some delicious food and there were never any shortages. Absolutely perfect! The price I paid for 2 nights was extremely cheap, so I was expecting much less than what I received. And I still wouldn't have been disappointed. It's at the end of a short laneway off a relatively busy street, but it's actually pretty quiet after the Y bar has closed. And there's a strong security presence throughout the night next to the Y bar and maintaining a secure presence on the lead up to the hotel entrance. The security are really nice guys as well. Very easy to chat with and have a great sense of humour. The service and amenities were far beyond what I expected for the price. I will definitely be returning in the future. I only had 2 nights there, but next time I'll stay for most of my time in Bali.

A little bit of mould here and there, but that's almost impossible to control in a bathroom that's in a city with high humidity. I was travelling alone, which made it hard to decide on what activities to do... but that's definitely not the fault of the hotel. But staying in places like this is probably one of the best ways to get out and meet people. I really cannot fault the hotel! I just wish I had stayed longer.

Quiet and not so far from the city also the legian beach.

Bathtub Room 131 needs clean from mold. The mold is under the water tap. The headholder ist unmoveable , it means if you take a shower you need one hand to hold the shower head. More then less the bathub unusable due to no drain stopper. Thank you.

My wife had an accident and broke her wrist. The hotel staff were amazing. They helped cancel organised trips and got us a refund. They looked after our luggage whilst at the hospital as we were supposed to be checking out. They really went out of their way to help. We were very very grateful.

Facilities are a bit dated

Excellent location, close to beach and all kinds of shops atms etc. Extensive food menu with good spread in buffet breakfast. They also made us packed breakfast which was ready for us at the time of checkout. Staffs were very helpful and courteous. We booked a Superior Family room which was quite spacious. There was a nice big swimming pool which we did not try.

The room condition was not that good. Room had lot of damps in wall. The chair leather was torn and old. The WC had cracks. We just spent a night so did not make much fuss about it but I request Booking.com to not give these kinds of room options for guests.

Another great stay at The Garden View. Staff were as friendly as ever and a great location. Very short walk to the beach and easy access to Legian, Seminyak and Kuta.

Room was comfortable but shower was the worst one we have had in Bali. Temp was hard to get right and lacked good pressure but wasn’t a major issue

The staff decorated the bed when we arrived which was a really nice touch. The room and balcony was a good size, and cleaned every day. Our room was on Level 3 and far enough away from the Y Bar so it was mostly quiet. Breakfast was good with eggs cooked to order plus several cereals, sausages, rice, chicken and fruit dishes to choose from. The tour desk onsite was convenient. Shopping at Padma St and Garlic Lane is just around the corner and it is only a short walk to Legian Beach. The dentist next door was a handy plus for getting our teeth cleaned!

The room had a slightly damp smell but that dissipated when the aircon or balcony door was open. Decent toasters would be handy!

As we got there we got a room miles away in some "bungalow" area that looked nothing like the pictures on booking. There was mold everywhere ( walls , doors and the fridge) Bugs in the bathroom and the whole room looked dirty and far from a holiday vibe. Honeslty I wanted to cry. We did take pictures and asked to be tranfsfered to a different room before even unpacking. The person at check in saved all the pics i took and made us fill in a complaint form and assigned us a new room that was much better. He was very friendly about it. There was no way i would have stayed in the first room Note the pics are a mix of old and new room !!!!!

The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The hotel was clean and well looked after. Any mantanice was done promptly. If you reported something, it was fixed in the matter of 10 mins. It was close to everything, shops, restaurants, spas, beach.

Nothing I didn't like. But a few things to add that would make it better. A shade over part of the pools mainly the rooftop 8would be wonderful and make the experience a little more comfortable. More choices on the menu and a desert menu would be fantastic. This would make more guests stay for tea at night, and maybe some evening entertainment in the dining area. And maybe the pool been open later specially the roof top one cause the nights are hot in Bali and would be nice to have a night time swim. :) These are just a few suggestions. All in all we had a great holiday. Thank you.

The breakfast was great! Enough variety and yummm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect. Busy sport bar out the front with great menu! Plus I got a slushy every day (if not twice a day) from the alcohol slushy stall at the front of the hotel

The place could do with a lil face lift, path way to my room was not flat or wide. Also had workers working around my room (back rooms) which I don't really mind but people sensitive to noises could not enjoy. Not any fault to the hotel but Hotel seemed to be ideal for men in their 40s hehe, sports bar out the front and hotel pool bar full of them. I went alone in the hope I could meet people in their 20s at the pool bar. Nope just old men with Bintang

Great location; food at either of the bars was good and very reasonably priced and at any time of the day or evening. Some of the facilities are a little bit tired; but work is being done to improve the place. You can exchange money at reception, good rate and feels safe. Garden cottage rooms were generous size. A secure room safe too, very handy. Rooftop pool needs a little bit of updating, but is a great place to hang out - my favourite feature

The bath was very old & tiles grout around it very old in our garden cottage didn’t feel clean. Doors don’t seal, some big ish gaps which was a bit off putting, but we got used to it.
