The staff really are amazing and made us feel completely relaxed and at home. The roof top pool and bar were fantastic for cooling off on a hot afternoon and Lucas/Kevin were great and were so kind to our two sons. The location is great for shopping and only a 15 minute walk down to the beach. The Pad Bar and Restaurant, just a couple of doors down was also super welcoming and the food was awesome every time (We ate there at least once per day over the 10 days). The food at the pool bar was also great and we would definitely recommend the pizza and quesadillas.

The only change I would suggest is better facilities to air clothes and towels in the rooms as this was difficult to do. I probably would not recommend this hotel for young families if you are looking for lots of kids for your children to play with as it has more of a grown up feel to it. They are great with children but there weren't many there. Our sons are 13 and 18 and it worked perfectly for us. The rooms are quite small but they have everything you need.

Music from a club? Nearby…till early am And our shower drain was blocked! Filled up the floor was gross!

Akman Hotel is in a central location but not too busy. The room was fine as were all staff. We have stayed there before and enjoyed our stay but this time there was one problem.

They play loud 'thumping' music all day at the pool and it carries down to the rooms. We advised them when we departed and did not re-book for our return few days and went elsewhere. They MUST do something about this as they will lose us and other customers. We are returning to Bali in August and will be reluctant to book at Akmani

Staff are lovely, room is clean and room service was great. We paid for a pool access room, the first room we were in didn’t get any sun but we asked to move and they sorted it for us that day which was great. Our new room was actually a lot better finish than our first room.

One night we had do not disturb on our door, staff were going round rooms to hand out info about a pool party. We got a call into our room telling us that someone was outside and to answer the door, didn’t really appreciate that this was just a leaflet that could’ve been pushed under the door while we had do not disturb on.

The hotel has great facilities with 2 pools. The ground floor pool is large and lagoon like; It is very beautiful and appropriate for swimming or relaxing. The roof pool has a bar and sweeping views of the city. Our room got serviced daily with fresh towels and some toiletries provided. The bed was massive and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was included in our price and was definitely worth it. It had everything you could possibly want, including a chef cooking your eggs to order. The staff was abundant and they were all so friendly and helpful. I I definitely recommend this hotel, and will very likely go back there myself.

The only thing that I didn’t quite like, was that the roof top pool played loud music every afternoon. Also, being set right in the heart of Legian, be prepared to have loud music pouring in from nearby nightclubs.

Great location, friendly staff. Rooftop pool with swim up pool bar was excellent. I had the Grand deluxe room which was spacious, comfortable bed, small balcony with sliding door

The bath tap was too hard to turn, it had been frozen into place They regularly had no towels replaced until the evening in the bedroom, and sometimes the rooms were not cleaned till late, around 5pm, unless you asked specifically to have them done early There was no safe in my room, i called reception and one was brought promptly to the room, however, was not bolted to the floor

The environment was good..

1 - during breakfast staff didn’t aware ingredients of food, I’m a family of Muslim and i cannot eat pork once ask one of staff during breakfast she said it’s beef but actually is a pork. Please improve your staff knowledge and recognised the religion of your customers. 2- wood on the balcony room pool side very poor please change it. 3 - please add roof at least half because customer on top of us are smoking and the dust of the cigarette drop of my hair while chilling in the balcony on the pool side, it’s very disappointed.

- This hotel located at the centre of Legian area, close to the markets, convenience store, legal money changer in front of the hotel, kuta beach only 300m by walk and plenty of restaurant nearby - The hotel staff also really helpful, will greet you without any doubt - Hotel facilities : 2 swimming pool, spa, gym, kids corner, pool bar and 2 restaurants

The night club next door, not really bothering me, this is Legian area, if you expect quite place, book someqhere else. Definitely will come back here again

The staff are lovely, great service and we had a comfortable room. The breakfast had a great variety each day. The roof top pool and area is lovely. Lovely boutique style hotel. Easy walking distance to the essential places with kids and easy transport options to travel to activities.

Not the hotels fault, however there is a night club next door and depending on the rooms you are in, the music can be very loud from 8pm to around 3am.
