Very reasonably price. Room was clean. Deadlock on door of night as I was travelling alone. Air conditioning worked very well.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even made me a margarita that wasn't on their menu (lychee Margarita) and didn't mind at all to make it.. The shower was small but I didn't mind as it was well stocked with soaps and small bottles of hair wash. They even supplied 2 x 500ml of water each morning when the room was cleaned. Location was in a really good spot, I made sheppys and garlic lane my landmarks as had no trouble finding my way back. Will definitely stay here again. The only if anything was my bother, tv reception was glitchy and wardrobe hangers were set in an odd way that you hung clothes in a straight line (pole of hangers was the width)as opposed to the length of the wardrobe. But I didn't intend on spending time watching TV in a foreign country and managed to hang clothes ok. Hands down will definitely be staying there again!!

Tv reception was glitchy but I don't fly overseas to watch TV. So it was not an issue.

Was close to every thing the cleaning staff were amazing if we needed towels or room cleaned we just asked couldn’t fault them

Only negative was we checked out 3 days earlier than planned so you got 3 days free basically which didn’t bother us but a glass got broken and the lady at front desk was quiet rude wanted 500000 for a glass when you just got a few hundred extra I’m sure accidents happen we didn’t damage room and left all our toiletries and insect repellant for the cleaners only fault about the place

Shower was too small and when wet quite slippery definitely needs an upgrade. Beds were quite uncomfortable, pillows were good though, sheets were clean. Pool wasn't in working order so was a little disappointed. We unfortunately checked out early due to the shower and bed issues We did have a lovely stay apart from that. The staff are absolutely lovely inside and outside hotel.

We continue to stay here because it's so close to our favourite places and easily accessible. The staff were awesome as usual and we received the same level of service and comfort as we did prior to Covid shut-downs.

The staff, breakfast, pool - I had requested if possible for some room decorations to surprise my son for his birthday and they done an amazing job. On the night we didn’t have a cake and the restaurant staff organised one last minute and everyone sang him happy birthday (including the band) thank you for making this day more memorable for us we are forever grateful for your staffs services Sun hotel we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you.

Pool is sheltered by hotel covering all 4 sides and very little seating area for persons not on the ground floor near pool . Karaoke was bad and count handle sitting in hotel bar whilst people were trying to sing ( sounded like screaming ) beers warm .

The friendly Staff, cleanliness, dining in the restaurant good value and good service. Breakfast catered for most nationalities if not on the buffet could request what you required from the Chef to prepare ie any type of egg, bacon or ham. Buffet meals changed daily. Restaurant Menu had a good variety, also pasta night and bbq night offered good choices. Short walk to Melasti Street, Garlic Lane, good shopping area ,Legion Beach and comfortable walk to the Kuta Art Markets along the beach.

Only thing I can suggest is that at the far end of the pool a set of stairs be installed so that elderly can access this in comfort. For some reason the steps were removed but needed to be put back in and possibly a few more pool,lounges.

Plumbing issues- shower would not drain out, was blocked up while showering causing water to come out onto the floor, vanity sink plug was jammed down and inoperable until they fixed it. (They did send someone quickly to fix) That’s just Bali though. Very noisy on the ground floor near the pool and very little privacy as other guests were lounging around near rooms. Music from the front bar is loud till 10.30pm each of the nights we were there. Value for money, you get what you pay for. Would come back but I’d not stay ground level.
