The service was absolutely amazing. We felt like we were treated like royalty during our stay. The rooms are really nice and new. There were surprisingly very few mosquitoes, I think I didn’t even get bitten once at the resort, apparently they fog the resort everyday.

It’s a lil far from the ferry terminal. It took us 45 mins to 1 hour to get to the resort from Tanjung Pinang ferry terminal. We went on a long weekend with the horde of tourists from Singapore, and immigration was kinda rough.

We are still having post holiday withdrawal symptom from this trip! We've stayed for a total of 8 knights and love every single day of it. Staffs - Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We communicated via WhatsApp and their response has always been so prompt! Appreciate how they've also made a point to remember your names and sometimes even your room number! Appreciate the daily kuehs to the room accompanied by bedtime stories (it is a lovely touch) Thank you for also surprising us with the delicious kueh dar dar to bring home! I love it! Facilities/Activites - Initially we felt 8 nights were too long for a resort holiday but we were so wrong. The facilities here were lovely and self sufficient. We absolutely enjoyed the water and land activities, pool bar and swimming pool. My toddler really enjoyed the kids club (he really loves the staffs there), farm, beach and swimming pool. We truly appreciate the different workshops conducted by the resorts such as towel making, coffee tasting and daily morning yoga (it was really a great way to start the day). Although the location was a little far from jetty it was worth the travel as my family had a blast at The Residence Bintan. We will definitely return!

Everything! We upgraded to beachfront villa for the private indoor pool and we had no regrets! The service was excellent - from the time they picked us up at the ferry terminal to when we checked out. The bus ride was around 1 hr 30 mins, although it was written as 75 mins, but it was not an issue for us though. Upon reaching, they did a group check-in. They led us to the seats, served us drinks, brought the key to us and we made payments from our seats. The friendly staff then sent us to our room to place our bags using a buggy, patiently waited for us and sent us to the restaurant for lunch directly as we were hungry. Everything was seamless. What we enjoyed during our stay: - The private pool (so convenient!) - The accommodation (clean and comfortable! with sea view😍) - 30-min complimentary yoga (830am)(advanced booking required) - Massage (Awesome massage - may be costly but worth the money) - Acoustic night at the pool bar (played popular songs - a great way to end the night) - Weather updates and activities (through whatsapp) - Friendly staff everywhere we go (Even the restaurant manager goes from table to table to check on everyone) Highly recommended! 💯👏

Our stay at The Residence Bintan was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles and impeccable hospitality. The staff, especially Kay, Kiki, and the rest of the team, were incredibly helpful and polite, ensuring every detail of our trip was perfect. Breakfast and dinner were delightful culinary experiences, offering a wide range of dishes to suit every palate. The beachfront dining experience was a highlight—imagine savoring fresh, delicious meals with the calming sound of the waves in the background! The beach itself is stunning, with crystal-clear waters and soft white sand. It's the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. Every aspect of our stay was crafted to perfection, making our holiday truly memorable. We can't wait to return to this slice of paradise. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional getaway!

The staff and the facilities are great. The staff is super friendly and go out of their way to help. Superb buffet breakfast options. There is lots to do in the resort, they make an effort with events like coffee tasting, cooking classes, etc There is a games room with pool table, table tennis, mahjong, darts, table football, chess and more. Also a long swimming pool, bar (couple of nights had live music), gym room and yoga classes. A Spa of course! Two restaurants plus on three evenings they put on extra eating on the lawn or by the beach with buffet dinners. The restaurants are a bit pricey. There are also at extra cost water sports. The beach is not much to brag about, so we paid for the island hoping and did some great snorkeling in a couple of nearby islands. Overall it was a great break at such short distance from Singapore. The free shuttle from the Bintan ferry to the hotel is about 90 mins.

Although the resort is very smart, it felt a little bit suburban, a bit like being in Wisteria lane!

We loved our stay at The Residence Bintan. It is an amazing resort with a huge area and plenty of rooms. The rooms are massive and very comfortable with your own massive balcony or porch. The bathrooms are very clean too. Overall the rooms were perfect and very luxurious. The rooms come with your own bicycles so you can use them to go around the resort to wherever you want. You can even opt for buggy transport around the resort whenever you need if you are tired of riding the bicycles. The breakfast buffet is a great spread and plenty of options. There are also some really nice restaurants in the resort. The service staff are also super nice, very friendly and extremely efficient. All communication is through WhatsApp which is great and easy. The Spa is amazing too! Would absolutely come back and stay again at this resort.

If I had to mention 1 thing, I'd say it's a bit far from the ferry terminal (about 75 mins) but they provide a free bus or van transport from the ferry to resort and back. They also give some snacks and water on this transport.

We loved everything about our short break at The Residence. The resort and the rooms are beautiful, we had a huge terrace with a hammock and the room was very spacious. Riding bicycles around the resort was super fun, and our little girl loved feeding and petting the bunnies and chickens. A shout out to the friendly staff, and to the lovely man who took us on a tour of the mangroves, sunset and fireflies. It’s a little slice of paradise - couldn’t recommend more!

Some tar on the beach due to the monsoon season, but the staff at the residence really work hard to clean the beach.

Quiet, great ambience and environment. Our villa was secluded, tucked away in a quiet corner. Only sounds were the sounds of crickets and grasshoppers mating call. Staff was responsive via WhatsApp and hospitality was great! Room was great, buggy service on demand, feels refreshed after the stay.

Minor renovations that we were not informed in advance. Could be better improved. Mosquitoes there are ruthless, but understandable. But I don't think it's mosquitoes also since we've sprayed repellent. Bedsheets was a little stained but we requested a change during the turn down service.

The Residence was far beyond our expectations, the service and the team there is outstanding. Special mention to Jay, Idu and Geru plus the Kids club team. They showed us the farm staying beyond working hours, they shared so much info, let us taste the stingless bee honey from the source, pick fruits from the tread and made the experience truly unique. The beach changes a lot from morning and afternoon with the high/low tide making it fun to swim or collect shells
