The restaurant, beach and bar facilities are excellent. The staff wonderful and the gardens beautiful and perfectly maintained. The location is also excellent.

My one complaint is the pool. It is small compared to the size and capacity of the hotel and the beds around the pool are limited. The action of placing a towel on the bed to 'reserve' it was not discouraged or stopped. People would put their towels down early and keep them there so they could go and do other things and then return. Consequently there no free beds most of the time and only a few people in the pool area! I would like to see staff remove towels when people were no longer at the pool. A practice which is now being adopted by many hotels in other places.

Amazing people work here. Make you feel very comfortable and welcome.

There are 3 pools. 1 large with a lifeguard and 2 smaller. I found that many children were in the smaller pools playing ball games, arguing, bombing and making it impossible for a quiet, sedate and relaxing swim. I suggest that one of the smaller pools be made adult only.

- The gardens, pools and lounge area was really beautiful and nicely groomed. They were taking really good care of their gardens, a lot of effort went into it and the result was just beautiful. - The cleanliness of the rooms, the housekeeping did a really good job there. - The friendliness of the staff - everybody was very nice and welcoming. - They had ducks and chickens living in the gardens which we loved! So cute! - The breakfast buffet was really good, a very wide array of things to chose from. - The in-house bakery was really good as well. - It really is a beautiful hotel/resort in general! Just one thing we would have loved to know in advance in general is that the beach in Sanur isn’t really a beach to swim. It’s too rocky and shallow. This doesn’t go into our review of course, since it has nothing to do with the hotel. Just would have been good to know in advance.

There were 2 main pain points for us: - The restaurant menu. The food was good, but we are vegetarians and had trouble finding anything because almost everything included meat or fish. On the first day they had a separate vegetarian and vegan menu which we were delighted about! But unfortunately it wasn’t available anymore during the rest of our stay. - The hard mattresses and pillows. Even with a thin and softer mattress topper they gave us, it was still too hard for us and gave us back pain. The beach beds and towels aren’t in good shape anymore. In comparison how well maintained the rest of the resort is, this doesn’t really make sense. Didn’t influence our time negatively, just something to add.

Loved the locations and grounds were beautiful ! Staff was exceptional. Food was tasty ! Pools were great though a tad too warm.

The price for food was expensive. Getting close to Sydney prices. Even though it was tasty. It wasn't worth the price, considering the price of quality food elsewhere. I was overcharged for motorbike use at 150k per day. The place was big so walking back to the room if you forgot something was annoying with a little one. We likely wouldn't stay again.

Place was in a perfect location, close to everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Sanur. Rooms were comfortable and clean and staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.

The beautiful staff were smiling and always helpful.. The gardens are just so beautiful it felt like we were staying in a botanical Gardens Breakfast was awesome..staff again amazing Great location with restaurants and shops right out front door right along the beach..

We knew before we stayed due to reading reviews but the rooms were dated.. If they renovate it would be perfect! However air-conditioning was very good and rooms cleaned very well....

Excellent facilities, great two pools and swim up bar, beautiful and immaculate grounds and gardens, friendly and accomodating staff from the cleaners to the reception, clean rooms, good air conditioning, comfortable beds.

Sewer smell from drains in bathroom, did not prepare bedding on initial check in for my child, also did not provide a towel or complimentary water for my child on check in. Rectified on further days of stay. Was not told we had to book restaurant for dinner when we arrived in afternoon, expensive spa.

Love the location and the setting. Very relaxing resort.

Pillows are hard, will take my own next time. Chair and cushions in the room were dirty and need to be washed.

The place was renovated so very well, its now a modern, well accommodated place to enjoy everything that Sanur has to offer. The staff is very very good, but we know that this is the case everywhere you go in Bali. The design of the beach deck is especially fantastic, we could just hang there from morning till evening and the staff made it so comfortable by moving the umbrellas here and there to provide us with shade where needed - perfect spot!

the noise of the lounge during the friday-sunday nights was really unexpected. the choice of music that the DJ played felt so very aggressive. we wondered how many people even used the lounge to sit in that type of music, especially as it was so very loud that with the isolation of the space, we heard it the entire night in our bed-rooms which were located near the very front of the hotel, farthest away. I had planned to book again in this hotel for a 2 week stay in november 2023, but because of this absolutely terrible noise we will find another place, which is a shame as everything else in this hotel is just absolutely brilliant.
