great location, beautiful staff, cute rooftop pool and restaurant, handy gym, wonderful room, clean, lovely furniture, good photo ops, easy bike parking under building, stair access as well as lifts, lovely ambiance

This hotel is in a lovely location, a short walk from petitenget beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. There’s a circle k just across the road which is handy to stock up on snacks daily. The room was spacious and clean and the balcony was a nice treat that I’m glad I opted for. The pool is nice and has a fun water slide for kids. There is a bar next door that often has live music in the evenings and a good atmosphere.

The only downside to this hotel is that the pool is in the shade and the sun is constantly blocked from reaching it. Not a problem if you are not visiting with kids as you can just go up to the rooftop pool.

The room was spacious and the bed was cosy. Hotel location close to the main areas was a big plus, with plenty of prime spots just a short walk away. The overall cleanliness throughout the hotel also added to a positive experience.

Noise in the room was quite disturbing at times, mostly because its door was close to the elevator area – sound came right through the door. The construction next door and a nearby nightclub also added to the noise. On top of that, housekeeping constantly missed replacing the hand and face towels after the second day, only leaving bath towels despite specific requests we made.

The location is excellent- close to restaurants and massages and an easy walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and left little treats in the room each day. The bed was massive and comfortable, and there is a pillow selection service. There is 2L of complimentary water each day. The pools were pretty with good amount of sun lounges.

The upstairs pool didn’t have umbrellas and it was often too hot in the sun. The downstairs pool is often shaded and can be a bit cold. So would be good if upstairs had umbrellas. The boards around the pool areas could use some maintenance. The bathrooms could use a refresh. Having said all that, we were happy with our stay particularly given the good price we got.

- Main pool didn’t have any sun for most of the day - Shower curtain was dirty/stained - Don’t recommend using taxi service through the hotel as its super overpriced. We paid $35aud for airport transport, however it cost $10aud via their Gojek app (bali transport app kind of like Uber)

mirror lounge made loud noise from 10 pm until 4am. could hear nightclub and not sleeping all night, fridge not cold bath towels and mat never replaced no soap in bathroom slight mould smell in room.

As you walk into the entrance the security staff are very nice & help you with yr luggage, the front desk staff Rini & staff are very welcoming organising you to check you in. The up stairs pool staff are very friendly, April, Agus & Swananda & other staff too. The pool view is great up there & the cocktails. Rooms cleaned daily which is good & we got little buscuits delivered daily which was a nice gesture.

The shower head in my room needs lime scale cleaning on a consistent basis, In ALL rooms through the hotel. The staff from up stairs pool area need to pay attention to guests needs a little more to know when they need a drink or food menu. Look & see. Cleaning used glasses & plates right away should be done from the pool area , upstairs. Food menus placed on each side table to order food & drinks straight away, 24/7. And then asked accordingly.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Jubuluwak Ocean Beach Hotel, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place! From start to finish, the hotel staff made the experience unforgettable. We initially had a small issue with our room being a bit noisy, but the staff handled it perfectly – they quickly moved us to a quieter room with no fuss at all. They even went a step further and offered us a complimentary upgrade to a more spacious room as a thank-you for leaving a review! The new room was incredible, with stunning views of the ocean and just steps away from the beach. The location was perfect – close enough to walk to all the nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops, but still peaceful and private. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves was magical. To top it all off, they surprised me with a small birthday treat, which made me feel so special! The attention to detail and the way they made us feel welcome truly set this hotel apart. I highly recommend Jubuluwak Ocean Beach Hotel for anyone looking for a perfect stay, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a relaxing beach getaway. I’ll definitely be returning!

All issues resolved - offered upgrade of room.

A very cosy hotel with excellent facilities and staff. The hammam (Turkish bath) in the spa area of the hotel was very relaxing. I also used the gym a few times, and although it's rather small, you can get a basic workout done without any problems.

As pointed out by others in their reviews, this hotel can be quite noisy because of the night club next door. I requested for a quiet room in advance and got a room at the far end of the hotel. It wasn't fully quiet as some of the noise from the night club could be heard in the evening and late at night, but it was still probably much more quiet than the rooms that are adjacent to the night club. I appreciate that the hotel staff were able to accommodate to my request.

Management and staff did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. The pool downstairs was amazing, breakfast every day this morning board you couldn’t falter had so much to choose from. Biscuit and cake was bought to our room every night with a message to have a restful night. The rooms are very clean. The staff that clean the room we’re wonderful.

The only thing if I could pick something was that there were some very rude tourists who decided it was okay to smoke when there were no smoking signs everywhere. And the only other thing was the bath is very high and the shower is over the bath. We took my mum who is not young and she could not step into the bath, It was that high if she tried, she would’ve had a fall. As it was when I got out of the bath, I had a fall. Everything was okay but yeah, the floors are very slippery and the bath is very high
