GK Bali Resort is truly a hidden gem! Nestled away from the crowds, this resort exceeded all my expectations. The staff are outstanding—friendly and attentive, they made me feel comfortable and helped resolve all my inquiries! The rooms are beautifully designed and provide a perfect blend of comfort and style. Each morning, I enjoyed breakfast with a harmonious nature view that set the tone for my day. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with top-notch service, made my stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape in Bali, I highly recommend GK Bali Resort!

I don’t have space here to write what I liked because it was just perfect. I traveled a lot during my life and stayed in many “big” hotels, but I never had the chance to see such a high level of details, it was simply amazing. The staff is going to the sky and back just for you to feel excellent, they are very well trained, smiling, respectful and kind. The location is an oasis of serenity in the middle of the jungle, away from Bali craziness but close enough to many attractions. We wanted peace & quiet and this is exactly what we found. It happened to me many times in the past to find the hotel different than the advertised pictures but GK is one of the rare cases where the reality is much better than expected or what can be seen in a picture. I also seen some difficult guests during our stay but the staff treated them respectfully and with a high level of profesionalism.

Compared with hundreds of stays in other very good hotels around the world, I simply cannot find something that I didn’t like at GK.

We had an incredible stay at GK resort, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The staff was genuinely warm, attentive, and carrying. They do everything they can to ensure every guest feels special and well-cared for. The food was really good, featuring a rich blend of local and international dishes, all deliciously prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was consistently top-notch, with prompt responses to any request and a seamless overall experience. Unfortunately, I was sick on my first day, but the staff took excellent care of me, arranging for a doctor to visit late at night. The level of care was exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the doctor's service was, especially compared to the high prices typically charged in the city for similar conditions. This level of support made all the difference in my recovery. The authenticity of the surrounding village added a unique charm to our visit. It felt like stepping back in time, with traditions and culture deeply embedded in daily life. The natural setting was equally stunning, offering lush landscapes, serene views. A perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation and cultural immersion not to far from Ubud. We were lucky to witness a traditional Balinese representation for Christmas, which was both unique and unforgettable. It beautifully showcased the local culture and made our holiday extra special. Everything is amazing at GK Resort. It is a slice of peaceful paradise hidden away north of Ubud. We stayed for 4 nights and we couldn't have been happier. The resort is absolutely beautiful with fantastic views of jungle and paddy fields. The rooms are clean and there's a clear attention to detail that many places don't have. The location is tucked away and hidden from any busy road. It's quiet, only sounds of nature to be heard. It helps if you can ride a motorbike to go out and explore the local areas. Wifi is also great as I worked a bit and had no issues with speed or connection. All the food was delicious, from breakfast to dinner we didn't have a bad meal. Far and away the aspect that sets this resort apart is the service. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and has a huge smile on their face. They have a great rhythm and communication to ensure you're not interrupted in your room. They remembered our coffee orders in the morning. It was such a pleasure to be with them, it felt like family.

Our stay in GK Bali Resort was one of the best ever, maybe if not the best. From the size of our villa, private pool, comfy beds to great breakfast every morning (a variety of local and international breakfast menus). But definitely the best thing was the staff...Sri, Mika, Deva and others were always there to help, knew answers to all our questions, spoke great English (which in Bali is a rare thing:)) and always with a smile on their faces. They made our stay even more fabulous. I would recommend this resort to everyone, especially if you go to Bali to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet since the resort is located 20-30 min to Ubud (also, everyday there are free shuttles to Ubud).

We had a wonderful tranquil stay here during our honeymoon. The staff were always very kind, friendly and helpful and the room was always impeccably clean. It is in a quiet location which was wonderful and the views from the bedroom are stunning. It is a little far from Ubud (30 - 40 minutes each way by car) but we were grateful to be away from busy Ubud and for the free shuttle service into the city. It really felt like a calm oasis. The infinity pool was lovely. We enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea by the pool, it was very relaxing. The breakfasts were big and it was extra special being able to have it on our terrace!

The hotel restaurant was expensive compared to local prices and there are not many options to eat around the area. The rooms are not very soundproofed so you could hear people in other rooms and in the hallway.

The location is excellent, the staff are very friendly, and the property itself is out of this world. Truly a little piece of paradise.

Given the location which is quite remote, and that it is located in an area where it rains almost daily even during the dry season, the resort needs to step up its facilities to make it great value for money. While it offers an onsite restaurant, the food options are quite limited. The spa is manned from external sources and prices are quite high, almost double when compared to other spas within a 10 minute walk, as is the yoga. On a rainy day, you’ll be stuck in your room as obviously the pool would be too cold to swim and no other facilities are available, except for a very small gym.

Hospitality of staff was above and beyond, they are so nice and supportive, we felt like queen and king with their treatment. Room was cleaned every day even if we didnt put sign on our door, every day fresh bootled water, view from our room was so perfect that it was pleasure to wake up in the morning every day... if you wish to visit ubud mostly this is perfect place because ride till ubud is about 30 min. 5 min till stores ( we rented moped). Bathtub in the bathroom is dream came true, shower is also 10/10. Swimming in that infinity pool was experience on its own, like a dream with jungle view... And the food? Oh my... it was so delicious every single thing we orderd, i will miss it sooo much! 😭😭😭🩷🩷 Great experience, we want to thank you all amazing people for threat us like this!! Love!

We were lucky that the first 6 days of our stay our 'neighbours' were young couple like us and quiet, because the last day family with children came and they were so loud and slaming doors all the time that it would be horror movie to have them whole week, so it would be great if gk resort in future becomes Adults only because it is equiped and adjusted for couples. If you want privacy and quiet time I recommend that you book private vilas (they are super nice too) because isolation is not very good in rooms since they are all coneccted together. Heated pool would also be perfect little touch 🩷 But everything else is pure perfection!

Fantastic staff, very friendly and professional. They even remembered our names what made us feel very special. . Entire resort is beautiful and has Wonderful views from rooms,pool and restaurant. The bathtub with a view is amazing! Comfortable beds. Very tasty food in restaurant.

In general very peaceful place just mornings are challenging as you can hear other guests waking up. But for entire day is sooo quiet and peaceful. All towels set should be exchanged already as are pretty old.

What a fantastic place ! Out of this world! We stayed 5 nights in a villa with private pool and it was really hard to leave it behind… The staff is absolutely fantastic. All of them. They do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They are polite, discreet, they remember your first name from day 1, and they always have a big genuine smile. The villa was awesome. Private, spotless clean, well equipped, with comfortable beds and surrounded by a gorgeous mix of tropical plants. The views from the villas or the restaurant are spectacular and relaxing. The place is so peaceful, and looks like you’re inside a postcard. I have to say that I spent several hours on Bookings checking several properties in Bali before making my choice as I wanted this trip to be memorable and I am extremely satisfied with my choice.
