Bliss Ubud Abangan This hotel in located just over the road from Temple and up a steep incline and a 200m walk from the road. We stayed late October 2024. On entering, you are met by the sound of falling water from the fountain into the pool and a small pool courtyard with reception set to one side. The rooms (ours was 4) all appear to be a similar layout with a large sleeping/dressing area and very big bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and wash facilities in a clean, well presented appearance. We had no issues with the room at all, air-con and ceiling fan all worked just fine, small bottle of water provided each day and the breakfast, served on the balcony, was good and filling way to start the day. The range of choice for breakfast a tad limited but everyone we had (and we tried them all) were perfectly edible and btw, the coffee is great but if you need it, ask for milk. No English breakfast tea, so carry your own and add to the boiling water. TV in the room with satellite connection, good WiFi and tea making facilities (a kettle, teabags and coffee). The pool was really refreshing after a day out sightseeing and travelling or just exploring Ubud. I did enjoy the dip in the infinity pool. The Staff Are are super helpful and so, so courteous and respectful to you, it is easy to allow them to do everything for you. Just show them the same respect in return. We utilised the hotel driver for two day tours which although documented where you go and what you see, can actually be customised in co-ordination with the driver, Wayan, who was very accommodating and responsive to requests to alter the itinerary to suit. The cost was reasonable too, 1.8mr for three days including return transfer to airport with sightseeing on day 3. We went to the sister hotel at Bliss Ubud for a massage. They send a golf buggy to pick you up and take you the 10 minute journey to the hotel.

All good at the property, clean, friendly staff and a cooling pool

Staff were fantastic 10/10!! Super helpful and had loads of advice on the area and lots of recommendations. Location is spot on - everywhere is easily accessible! Breakfast on the balcony was an absolute treat each morning!

Location was hard to find as we were in the dark - cars can’t travel up to it due to narrow roads but once you find it you realise how perfect of a location it is!

Everything was great! i arrived early and my room was ready so I could move in 4 hours before the official check in time and i received a complimentary coffee as well! I really enjoyed my stay a lot and can highly recommend this lovely place! The area is really quiet but close to all you could need. check out the nice warungs following the footpath to the left when leaving the property, great food and nice atmosphere there as well.

Walking distance to ubud center, staff were polite and it was quiet despite being near to a lot of shops. Bed was comfortable and shower water was hot. Breakfast was served in our balcony (which we had to choose from a menu the day before). They also kindly gave us a breakfast box at 3am before we headed out to mount batur. Overall, a good stay.

We had an issue with the shower which caused the water to overflow but the staff rectified it once informed. Cleanliness of the room could be improved more and a waste paper basket in the room would be appreciated. There is no direct access to the place via car. Both our drivers got lost and its bit of a walking distance on foot which may make luggage carrying difficult. Luckily the staff helped us with that but probably call the place beforehand to inform that you'll be arriving soon.

Beautifully created hotel, the service at the hotel is excellent and the rooms are clean and also cleaned well everyday. Room service for food is also good and well priced. Breakfast is served on the room Balcony.

The access to the hotel is through a street which is like an alley way and the floor of the street is full of pot holes. Despite the staff willing to help with luggage, it was still difficult to use a baby stroller and coming back at night time it was dark in the street. Also have to come down the stairs with luggage and baby stroller and back up which is not ideal. The breakfast options for vegetarians could be better.

Nestled away from everything, so it was a great stay. The Room was clean, good looking, and spacious. The Bathroom was also really spacious and nice. Staff was friendly and catered to all our needs including booking cars, and helping with the loads of luggage we had.

The road leading to Bliss is not accessible by car, and is not an even road, with many open drains. Being with Infants and toddlers, we had to be extra careful. Also since we were traveling with children, the luggage to & from the road was a hassle. Not sure if I missed reading it, but maybe it should be mentioned in the description itself.

The room is big with spacious balcony. I enjoyed the breakfast sets with the view. I did not use the pool but it was a very quiet and cosy place. The hotel offers free shuttle for its spa services at the resort, just book at the reception early. Location wise could be tricky at first but once you get used to the route you would appreciate that it is located far from any car/street noise. The shops are just within walking distance. The hotel staff are very helpful, just ask them the favour.

The selection English tv channels could be added.

The view from the room was so green and lush over the rice field. The staff are very very helpful especially taking luggage up and down stairs all the time and out to the main road - they even came to a nearby hotel and picked me and my luggage up, how about getting them a little golf cart?! The breakfast was fantastic. The staff offered to hold my bags for a few hours after checkout and they have showering facilities we could use. Thanks to Gusti, Nengah, Seruni, Dewa and one more wonderful gentlemen who I didn’t get his name but he got saturated bringing my luggage out to the road on checkout . Many thanks.

The pool was a little on the small side and right next to people’s rooms.

The staff is pleasant and always helpful. We had few requests but they were swift to respond and ensured that we were always happy. We loved having our chosen breakfast delivered to our balcony daily. It was nice to be able to relax in our room and start our day not in a crowded room. Instead we had a plentiful breakfast in our quiet room, listening to the birds. The size of our room was lovely. We had a lot of space and plenty of room for suitcases and clothes.

It didn't bother us any but if you wish to sit by the pool or if you are a swimmer the pool is small. However, the pictures represent it perfectly.

Loved the tucked away location, it's off the main street up and wee alley way so you have to walk to the front door but was part of the bali adventure. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nice cold drink of juice on arrival. The pool area was gorgeous! It was a small pool but we had read alot of reviews about this already so we were expecting that, it is located besides reception and 2 other rooms but while we were there it didn't feel crowded. Loved our room up stairs with the private balcony to sit and enjoy the view and breakfast. Bathroom felt very clean and tidy. Room was spacious, clean and tidy also. Within walking distance to everything- make sure you check out the Sweet Orange rice fields walk while you stay here! Would happily come back!!

Didnt know we couldn't drive to front of building, if you had alot of bags this could be an issue - but was okay for us.
