The breakfast was amazing with lots of choices (English / continental) and the coffee was exquisite. The breakfast area was near the pool and had a beautiful view over the jungle valley. I loved that yoga classes were included in the room price and you could use the yoga studio to do your own stretching/exercises when classes were not on. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The rooms had good quality traditional Balinese furniture and very comfortable beds. We were pleasantly surprised to find the mini-bar packed with healthy snacks and drinks, all on the house!! Even though the hotel is not near the centre of Ubud, there are some very good restaurants and a fancy vegan bar next to the hotel.

The property had two beautiful pools but they weren't heated so the water was too cold to swim in for more than 5 minutes. This may sound strange for Bali but the property is immersed in the rainforest and on a hill so it gets little sunlight meaning the temperatures are lower than in other areas and the pool water never gets a chance to warm up.

Very relaxed atmosphere and so many spots where you can go to rest or swim. It really is a beautiful resort. My balcony room was spacious and the bed very comfy. The aircon was fantastic. Amazing buffet breakfast with choices from continental, fresh fruit, Chia puddings, eggs, bacon, pastries and the coffee was excellent.

The doors are a beautiful balinese traditional carved door, they are noisy when opening and closing and the neighbors seemed to be in and out all night, plus dragging their furniture on the stone floors vibrated. But all in all you have to expect some noise from the neighbors and it was very peaceful once they settled down. .

The friendliness of Balinese people floors me every time and this place was no exception. Extremely friendly and courteous staff ready to assist in any possible way and always smiling. Pita at the front desk had very happily assisted me in reducing a day from my booking. The Hotel looks like built in an old temple located on the side of a hill, with a river flowing on the side and greenery in abundance. You get the feeling of staying in a heavily forested area and yet so close to the city. Peace and tranquility is unmatched. A perfect location for a wellness retreat. The property boasts of multiple yoga studios , a spa , wellness centre and and mediation hall. Clean and big rooms , no TV though and not required , breakfast was good, i did dine in one night and food was good as well. Just walk around and soak the nature in its purest form.

We stayed for a work brainstorming trip, and I was truly impressed by the exceptionally friendly staff and the outstanding facilities, especially for the price. If you’re looking for a place to hold a spiritual retreat, relax, or meditate, this is the perfect spot. The property’s beautiful connection with nature creates an ideal atmosphere for those seeking tranquility.

The stairway to the sauna could be improved, and while the insects might be out of their control, they were noticeable. During our six-day stay, we found the breakfast to be quite repetitive, and it sometimes seemed like leftover items from the previous day's service were reused. The location isn't quite easily distinguished by drivers.

Good location, a little out of the hustle of the main centre, but still in walking distance. The rooms were very comfortable and we were especially happy to have nets over the beds. The buffet breakfast was great. The staff were very attentive. There were people playing traditional music, sweetly wafting throught the courtyard. We had Grand Delux rooms with private balconies. We also enjoyed the peaceful Library and the free yoga classes.

From the moment you arrive this place just feels special. It's set in a lush valley over a river, giving beautiful views. The staff are just wonderful, so kind and helpful. There is an activity to suit everyone, and more can be arranged. The rooms are spacious and kept spotlessly clean. Cultural night was ace, definitely recommend.

Soundproofing between rooms is an issue, we could hear everything in the adjoining room. Additionally, they don't cover the buffet breakfast which means it's cold unless you're there first thing

The grounds were lovely to walk around, views from dining area were lovely. Complimentary Yakult, mineral water, protein bar etc from mini bar good idea. Hand soaps & shampoo, conditioner & body wash made for resort smell amazing, staff very nice and helpful, always smiling. Free afternoon tea was a great incentive as well and tea cakes were enjoyable.

Charge of AUD $8.50 to go into town (less than 5mins), Gojek not allowed in to pick up people from resort but can drop off like most of UBUD center. booking an activity with healer which was inventive to stay here was unable to be done due to ? And I stayed 3 nights so disappointed with that. Daily yoga was only offered in late afternoon which was also disappointing, would have preferred early morning

We do not understand all the bad reviews that people have written about this place - we had a fabulous stay here! The staff is great, the food in the restaurant is excellent and the room is cozy and clean. Yes, the general maintenance of this hotel is lacking in places (it is our only criticism), but it is also part of the charm of this place. Make sure you also try the massages in the wellness center - its great.

- Good location, a short walk to the Main Street. - Buffet breakfast and afternoon tea were included in the accomodation booking- delicious food. - Room layout is spacious and calming. Very clean. - The property is an adventure/ experience in itself. - Very comfortable beds and pillows. - Friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to cater to my requests and needs. - I booked a healer and half day tour with the resort who provided a driver and a guide. It was perfect. - The half day tour included a water purification ritual where they provided the outfit, blessing baskets and guide who lead the purification ceremony for me. The driver took photos for us as well. - The sound of the river is a calming backdrop especially when sleeping. - Very impressed with the overall stay, great value for money.
