Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, good food

Beautiful hotel facilities with a lot of flowers, a public area with chess, kicker, backgammon stone tables & a beautiful pool with a nice view of rice terraces. The room was nice and spacious with a beautiful marble floor and a great air conditioner & minibar. Amazing staff who tries to help where they can and even try to fulfill extra wishes. I extended my stay from 2-4 nights, because I like this place so much. (I was living in the Deluxe Double Room)

The pillow on my balcony chair was dirty and should be replaced. The roofs are beautifully made from straw, but the gap between the walls and the roof should be sealed so that no animals can enter. I had some Geckos and a few insects inside. The problems are not a big deal though.

The location is great because is near Ubud center (not a walking distance!) but in a quiet area. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly trying to accommodate the needs. I extended my stay twice.

The room I stayed the two first nights was moldy and smelled bad (the island naturally is very humid), despite it was a great room I requested to change, and the staff did it very quickly. The pool could be cleaner, but it is nice.

There was an awful smell in the room right from where we checked in. It smelled like mould, the odor from the shower area was also really bad. With regards to the cleaning, they only did it when we asked which was weird. The breakfast was a bit bland as well but still appreciated

The bed is comfy, the room is spacious, and the bathroom is also nice! The size of the property, including the garden, is huge for the two of us. There is also a gazebo next to the swimming pool with a set of tables that you can use to have your dinner or just hang around, but we never used it since there are plenty of mosquitoes during the night.

The swimming pool looks like it is in need of some maintenance; it is a bit dirty and green, and when you step onto the tile of the pool, you can sense a slimy thing, almost like a moss. I ended up not using the pool as I'm not comfortable to swim in it.

Staff super friendly. Room super nice with a very big comfortable bed, a big bathtub and a big balcony where you can dry your swimming suits and stuff. I really love my room because it’s not directed connected to neighboring rooms, it gives you the privacy feeling. It has a little front yard which gives it an extra nice touch. You can always hear the sounds of nature from outside the balcony although in the day time you can hear the motorbikes outside, in the night I wasn’t disturbed by that at all. Didn’t use the swimming pool for this stay, so no comments on that.

Pillows were a bit grubby but when mentioned they were changed immediately without a problem Had to pay everything upfront as you go instead of one total bill upon checkout As the days went on they run out of breakfast drinks (first day full selection of about 4 juices, 2nd day just 2 options, 3rd day only one glass of one flavour left and there was 2 of us) Had to ask for the room to be cleaned - only realised after the first day no one came but again was no problem asking More like a hotel room than a villa - but still peaceful, didn’t see anyone other than in the restaurant / reception
