A very pretty Villa, the reception was very helpful and always answered quickly over whatsapp!

Be mindful with who you‘re sharing the Villa, there is just one bathroom seperated by bamboo - no walls! Also you have to walk 5 minutes till you can get picked up by Scooters.

Really enjoyed our stay at Le Sabot this September! It's an "open-air concept" due to the accommodation being made out of bamboo which allows fresh air into it. There are still windows with glass and doors that close, so you have privacy, but there is no aircon. We were worried about the heat however it was completely fine. In fact, I had my best sleep in Bali while at Le Sabot! The 2 fans were perfect and the mosquito net over the bed kept any bugs out. We are travellers on an economical budget but by no means are we backpackers, and we were very comfortable. The 2 pools are lovely and refreshing too.

It's worth noting that the accommodation, like the others in the area, can only be reached by scooter / on foot. (The road is abobut 200m away) This is perfectly fine as the accommodation has scooters to rent to you and also meets you at the drop-off point to carry your bags for you, however if you're someone who struggles with mobility, doesn't know how to ride a scooter, or will be afraid of walking along a path at night, then you might feel uneasy.

Paradise found! Management was responsive and easy to communicate with. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a great location. I loved listening to the sounds of nature all around me. The pooI was nice and the gardens were beautiful. I was sad to leave. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Ubud.

I loved everything and had no complaints. It’s important to know that if you stay here you will be IN nature. If you don’t like nature, it might not be for you. You will need to rent a scooter to access it.

Stayed in the one bedroom villa. It was beautifully decorated and looks just like the pictures on the inside. Warning though, it is NOT any of the bamboo huts you see in the picture. It is a normal brick building towards the back of the property away from the pool. Even though there is no aircon, there is good airflow through the room so it stayed a good temperature for sleeping. The shower had good water pressure and the mattress was very comfortable.

The place was lovely, I just feel a bit fooled because I thought I'd be staying in a bamboo hut but it was just a normal building. It was still very lovely and peaceful. The roosters are quite loud in the morning though and someone was burning something outside so it smelled like fire sometime at night but not too bad. Also, since it is very open to the outdoors, you can expect mosquitos, geckos, and the occasional cockroach. It's normal for Asia though. There was a fair amount of gecko poop in the shower area though.

The place was amazing. Very clean, calm and comfortable. The hosts (staff) are super nice and help you with the luggage. They are always there to help you if you need something or to suggest tours or/and activities. The place is in the middle of a rice field and you can hear the animal noises in the evening (birds, frogs, crickets, geckos), which I loved!

The only thing I didn't like was the location of the place. As it was somehow very central, getting to it was a bit of a challenge itself. There is no way to get there by a car (only by motor bike) and the route is a bit sketchy and dirty (especially after rain). Not very suitable to walk it at night, as it's also dark and you can fall in the small river that passes by. Apart from that, everything else was great.

Le Sabot isn’t your typical hotel – it’s an adventure for those who love exploration and a unique stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, assisting with our luggage and guiding us through the smaller street leading to the property. Being off the main road meant we were blissfully away from the crowds, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Communication with the team was seamless, and they quickly attended to any requests. We especially loved the private and cozy setup, which was perfect for a couple’s retreat. The only adjustment was getting used to the roosters that crowed both day and night – but a pair of earplugs sorted that out. The area around Le Sabot is relaxed and conveniently close to everything we needed, making it easy to explore the neighborhood. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so unique and memorable. We can’t wait to return!

This property is amazing! The villas are so beautiful with two gorgeous pools to use which both have views over a field so away from the hustle and bustle. It is down a side street which has small shops and warungs which you can use. We had a dinner and some breakfast delivered to us from one of them. We were met at the top of the road and our bags were carried on motorbike to our villa. We met the staff there and they gave us the keys. There is no reception so you then communicate via Whatsapp, which the staff are very responsive to. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Nothing, the place was amazing

the most beautiful accommodation we've seen so far. It reflects how Bali is often presented on TV. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Easy communication with owner by whatsapp. They organised laundry washing for us and picked us up with scooter at main street when arrived and brought us back when checked out. they also organised scooter rent for us. good located. Many cafes and restaurants around the corner. Not toooo crowded there and just a few minutes by scooter to center if Ubud. we've stayed first just for one night but booked another two nights during our trip as we loved it so much.

The swimming pool was lovely

Beautiful bamboo villa in a tranquil setting. The staff were really helpful and on hand to assist at all times via WhatsApp, helping with excursions and directions to points of interest. The team helped to transport all our bags from the pickup point too (Tygr) which was really handy. Food from the local warung can be delivered to the villas and is really tasty and good value for money. Really enjoyed our time here, thank you! 😁
