Great facilities

The receptionist tried to convince me I had underpaid for my stay when paying in cash. Very pushy I did not have the correct amount, which she counted in front of me. Wasn’t until my partner walked up to the counter that the story changed to it being sufficient. Not happy when someone tries to scam me

The staff was amazing! Very welcoming and accommodating. I ordered a flower pool for my birthday and it turned out great! They also provided umbrellas for you to use during your stay.

I had a jungle view which meant a lot of insects and ants. I understand it comes with the territory in Bali, but I stayed in a few villas, this was the only place where it was annoying. The kitchen was under construction, but they did have a menu to a restaurant you could have food delivered. I didn't use that service either because I believed the prices were too high. They did recommend a great restaurant that was in walking distance!

Poka was away from the noise & crowds in central Ubud, very peaceful. Loved the privacy of the villas, bed was comfortable, loved the well maintained gardens and our cat visitor who would come for a little while in the mornings. The massages were amazing. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a small but good menu and were happy to adjust meals to make mine vegetarian. Beautiful view from the second level to eat as the sun set. Great place to retreat for peace after the haggling and sightseeing, would stay again 😁❤️

Some construction next door was a little noisy at times, but honestly it didn't really bother us. Limited hot water so couldn't fill the bath, but we had the pool anyway so didn't really matter.

The room is quite large and well furnished. Pool is beautiful and clean. Shower works well and staff are nice.

The views from the rooms aren’t the same as the pictures on booking, there’s a construction in front now and they should let us know that before booking. Also the biggest problem for me was breakfast, it was disappointing for an expensive hotel. There’s only one egg, one side of a bread sliced in half, no butter, and industrial juices. In a country with so many fresh fruits a fresh juice would be perfect. The last problem we found were the pillows. They are too large for a firm bed so I had to sleep in a cushion.

They made our stay amazing. - the private villa is even more stunning in real life, you have every comfort you might need. The villa is bright, spacious & clean. - i suggest you get the flower bath and the flower pool. It is truly beautiful - the breakfast was very nice. There is a restaurant at the entrance of the hotel and the food is delicious - I loved it soooooo much I almost cried when I left. Truly the best place in ubud <3 it was a dream to stay here. - location is great as it is located in the middle of everything, in a very calm area with 0 noise. 15 min drive to the rice terraces and 15 min drive to ubud town.

We had an incredible stay at Poka in November! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who made us feel as at home throughout our entire stay. The villa itself was amazing and food was another highlight – every meal we had was delicious, with a great variety of both local and international options to choose from. Overall, our experience was just great, and we can't recommend Poka Villas enough for anyone!

Location perfect and super quite far from traffic and noise , just sound of nature and animals ( lots of frogs lol) , staff was really friendly, smiling, available and kind.Room with the access to the big patio with all the privacy (except formspme dice field worker passing by sometimes) and nice big pool to chill was perfect in the morning of late bath in the evening, bathroom nice and comfy , there is also a small cafe/restaurant in front of the property if you want to grab a coffee or food. Really good

Everything was perfect , just the fence that divide the property with the rice fields was ruin a bit the landscape from the room,

Jungle villa has fantastic view, pool was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was overall very well designed and spacious, outside area was a brilliant area to spend some time and relax. Staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to the wonderful cat that lives around the Villa, extremely friendly, affectionate, and cute. Made out stay extra special. The overall atmosphere of the villas was also very calming and serene.

Bathroom accumulates a lot of flies, particularly at night, they like to linger around the shower. Felt this was sort of to be expected due to the location next to a jungle but it can be annoying when showering or using the toilet. It would be helpful if there was a light for the dressing table, currently there is nothing other than the high up room lights which make the mirror difficult to use. Location is a little way out of Ubud, perfect for piece and quiet but be aware that you will need to make use of a scooter or taxis.

The villa was amazing, and the staff were super helpful and friendly- especially Dewa, Cythnia, and Gisna. The villa was huge, clean, and the private pool was stunning. The staff organised everything for us, including meals, tours of the local sights with Nyoman (who was the best tour guide), and a hike up mount Batur. The massages were the best we have ever had. We booked in for daily massages. The breakfast were beautiful and we enjoyed eating them in our villa by the pool. Would absolutely come back again.
