We felt very welcome at Tirta Arum. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but cosy and clean. The pool has an amazing view and is perfect to chill and enjoy the day. Also the area is quiet and so we really been able to chill there.

The breakfast was included but for vegans there is a very limited variety.

The staff was absolutely welcoming and friendly, extra helpful as well (helped me iron my really wrinkled dress). They provided a floating breakfast free of charge upon request. Room was absolutely spotless and staff would call to ask if they could clean daily. Water would be refilled daily. Staff offer suggestions for touristy activities, but give great alternatives to over-priced venues. While booking, the staff would reach out while I was still in Kenya to thank me for booking and also offer day tour packages, which I appreciated. The hotel is absolutely tranquil. Would absolutely book a stay again when in Ubud!

Absolutely amazing villa. The pool villas have 2 separate bedrooms + 1 living room. Each rooms with a 180 bed and amazing bathrooms. Staff is execellent and breakfast as well. Location is close to centrer however you need a taxi ride that cost 100k rupee. With their roads and traffic is hard to walk to the center but they do have a free shuttle service in the morning and evening or if outside of these hours they have car available. Massage can be arranged on site which was great. Highly recommend.

Lovely family run property. You feel really taken care of by everyone and they get to know you. Breakfast is a la carte but great and freshly made. The pool is the highlight and the floating breakfast was so enjoyable. They also have private tours/driver and car hire you can book which were better value for money than anything else we found online. Location is perfect. Either a 15 min walk into town, or 5 mins in their shuttle car service. Would highly recommend staying here!

Bring bug spray! As with most places in Ubud the rooms do have a few mosquitos

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool villa was lovely. Reasonably short walk into Ubud although they also offer a free shuttle. They kindly offered their taxi service for my airport transfer even after I’d checked out but unfortunately it didn’t work out due to crossed wires and changing flight times.

Only a couple of minor suggestions/requests - instructions on how to call reception from the in-room phone would be helpful and I would have loved some bubble bath for the bath (as well as a small table next to the bath and some shelving or bench in the shower to hold toiletries etc).

Beautiful hotel with the possibility to rent a scooter direct from them. The swimming pool is very nice. The hotel is located 1km from the center, during the day you can just walk to go there but at night it will may be dangerous (no lights on the street). Staff is super friendly.

The quality of the breakfast is not that good.

The staff is very nice and they go above and beyond to fulfill your needs! The pool area was also amazing and the room very clean! I would definitely return back to Tirta Arum! Had a wonderful stay there! They also prepared a piece of cake for my husband’s birthday which I think was very cute and kind of them! Thank you so much for everything! Hope to see you all again someday ❤️

The location was close to Ubud, but at the same time a quiet place. The staff was very helpful, the breakfat was tasty. I would highly recommend staying here if you visit the Ubud area, great value for money.

Staff very friendly. The whole area,garden , restaurant very nice Nice ,decent size swimming pool however do not expect jungle vibe as pictures are dated and now there are construction sites on both sides.

- the cheapest room we stayed at was bad. Was so small that I can tell was the smallest during our 2 month travel - the air con was a nightmare. The loudest air con ever. Immppsible to sleep while on. Without too hot. Maybe more expensive rooms don't have this problems but this one surely not worth booking for that price -staff brushing just outside our room at 5 am which of course woke us up( like we already didn't have a bad sleep because of air con) -the floating brekafast which you order one day prior was 30 min late

We really enjoyed the infinity pool and the quietness of the area. The location is great, 10 minutes away by foot from Ubud city center, so very close to the buzzing streets. There is a convenience store right in front of the villas and multiple affordable local restaurants to choose from. The outdoors of this hotel is super beautiful. The girl who welcomed us was the sweetest.

Perhaps two things to improve: 1) the AC was kind of loud and you definitely need it to sleep. Bring earbuds if you are a light sleeper (these are not provided by the hotels while others in Bali, do) and 2) breakfast was disappointing: you need to choose a main dish from 4-5 options. We chose different dishes on both days and every time they were underwhelming... Once we got overcooked scrambled eggs and when we ordered "toast" we got four slices of toasted white bread with a little package of butter and marmalade.
