The best staff ever !! Most helpful, humble and courteous staff who attended to our every request. Budi, Dudi, Ayu, Dayu, Komang, Niti and the housekeeping staff are an asset to Sativa villas and we look forward to meeting them again. The food is great to and good value for money. The location is excellent and very close to the city centre. The staff are happy to arrange taxis whenever you need them and also run free shuttle services to the city centre several times a day.

The villa was gorgeous, very clean, relaxing, quiet and fit all of our needs. The service and the staff were incredible! They honestly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, organised our transport, trip to the zoo and we’re so attentive to my 1-year-old son. The room service food that we ordered was always of a high standard, flavoursome and very affordable. The wifi was also great, very quick. We also had lots of geckos around the villa which were super cute, they help with the mosquitos.

There were lots of mosquitos due to the location. The villa provided spray and body insect repellent and provide mosquito coils for the villa but I would definitely recommend taking the best stuff you can find - they’re relentless.

Staff are very attentive, and contactable, fixing a faulty bath plug promptly, changing towels, taking breakfast orders, and advising of any issues such as a change in dinner schedule. Every night they come and light the mosquito coils. Breakfast was included and you let them know of your order the night before. I recommend selecting the Indonesian style dishes. They will also inform you by phone before delivering breakfast so you can get the door open and ready. There is a free shuttle service to the centre of Ubud if needed and plenty of restaurants nearby serving delicious moderately priced fare. A small convenience store is about 150m away.

The concrete floor around the pool can get easily slippery, a safety hazard. The pool is getting a bit in need of maintenance but the kids enjoyed it. There was some minor construction noises throughout the day, but you could not hear it in the actual room.

Sativa is large spacious and comfy. We stayed a total of 3 nights. We were upgraded to Orchid upon arrival. Chic decor, with lotsa storage space,huge bathroom with bathtub. Very private enclave. Stayed 2 nights here. Then we were subsequently moved to Jasmine,a double storey villa that also suited our family of 4. Pool depth is 1.6m throughout, perfect for a proper dip! Pool has lotsa dead leaves and could do with housekeeping. Be aware of lizards roaming around. But this is Bali! Sativa Villas has sincere polite staff. Special mention to Budi. Very helpful.

It’s a bit out of the way from the main Ubud but with free shuttle at 10.15, 2.15, 5.15pm. Took us like 8 min to go to town. The thing is the shuttle didn’t arrive on time and we kinda waited at Ubud palace for 45 min. It’s a once off but we noticed timing wasn’t quite adhered to. Think they outsource the shuttle to Grab drivers. The driver would ask if u need tours etc etc. to which we politely declined.

the Sativa Villas were absolutely incredible. 5 star luxury 10 minutes outside of Ubud. the best part of our stay was by far the staff, they were incredibly friendly and generous. the villa was cleaned daily and no request was too small. the staff were also happy for us to arrange for a temporary pool fence to be installed, for our 1 year old baby’s safety. the staff also provided mosquito coils and repellent which was greatly appreciated. I am a coeliac and require a strict gluten free diet. the staff were very accommodating of this, and I had no issues at all. also, the villas are across the road from Tulen restaurant, which has many delicious gluten free options also.

The 2 BRDM villa (Rose) exceeded our expectations! It was HUGE. Perfect spot to stay with our toddler. Lots of room. Huge, comfy bed. Private and secure. Nice views surrounding and gardens that were maintained. Free shuttle 3x day into Ubud centre. Friendly and accommodating staff - offered food to our toddler to feed the fish each day which was a highlight for her. Daily cleaning kept the place immaculate. Food was also great - variety of breakfasts to choose from and being able to order nasi goreng after getting into the accommodation late on the first night was perfect ! And complimentary arvo tea, when we were home, was a lovely treat. I can't rate Sativa highly enough. It was more than we expected and our 6night stay was just perfect. It isn't far from town and we liked the fact that it was quiet, away from the hustle and bustle but also very easy to get a driver (staff can assist in organising this) to take you wherever you wanted to go. Also got a massage in the villa which was awesome. Highly recommended; would stay again (maybe in the 4 bedroom villa with another family because that looked epic!) Thank you to all the staff at Sativa :)

Construction of more accommodation next door but if you're out and about in the day, it doesn't affect you. This is out of anyone's control anyway ;)

Comfortable villa with all amenities you need. The staff we very helpful and the served breakfast was nice :)

We were staying at Jasmine villa and the location was next to the road, so you heard the street noise. The neighbor of the property next door was listening to his radio or TV all night long…there are construction works going on, so during the day it is noisy! The only villa that seemed quiet was Gardenia at the very back.

The setting as a private villa was perfect for our family of four. 2 separate rooms, a large open living area including pool, dinner table, lounge sofa, kitchen etc. Breakfast/meals are served. The staff is very nice and is helping with everything you can think of. I couldn‘t ask for more. 10 min from Ubud center it was quiet and relaxed. We had a great time.

The Bali climate is rather unforgiving. When we were there, the place was still in good shape. 3-5 years more without serious maintenance time will have taken its toll.

Rooms were spacious and quite clean. The optional paid services provided by the hotel like massage, yoga and the bbq dinner were all expertly handled and my whole family enjoyed them very much. Service was quick and came with lots of smiles and the included breakfast was wholesome and nutricious!

The second room in the 2 room villa can only be assessed by an external staircase. The location can be a bit inconvenient if you have no transport. The only eateries nearby are a couple of warungs. If you have a driver or othe transport then everything is a breeze to get to Ubud Central.

We stayed at Sativa Villas for 4 nights, and our experience was wonderful. The villa was wide, clean and new. Bed was comfy, many pillows. We had a private pool that was cleaned daily. Little beautiful garden as you walked in. The staff is so polite and friendly, always at your service; they arranged our transport to and from the airport, and also got us a motorbike so we wouldn’t have to walk to get one. They have a very convenient shuttle service to and from Ubud Palace, which you can book through Whatsapp. As at the moment there is no restaurant, they brought us breakfast every day to our villa. The food was good and they always called on the phone first to check if it was ok for them to come in.
