Place was quiet and clean, very relaxing

Doors of room not totally sealed so insects will come in, such as spiders or flies. There was also construction nearby and the property was a tad unfinished especially the entrance. No food available onsite but it was easy to order via Gojek or Grab. Location wasn’t in the main area so we took Gojek to travel out. Property is near some farmland so may smell some cows nearby as you’re in the pool!

Excellent free standing villa, beautifully furnished, lots of sockets ( rare in bali ) beautiful pool. Everything ultra clean. Staff so friendly.

No breakfast,Internet very patchy, no screens on windows which would be perfect to sleep with them open above bed at night. Definitely need transport as no beaches or attractions close. Mini mart 700mtrs down road near a terrific warung called Joglow. (Turn right and stay on main road to get to both ) Property will have warung for meals and massage and spa centre very soon.

We loved the room, it was big considering the price — totally value for money. The bedding was really comfy too so we were able to rest well. We loved swimming in the pool, under the stars. Plus we had it all to ourselves. The location was also good, it was near a lot of the beach clubs and sites we wanted to visit. Kadek was very accommodating and efficient when it came to our requests. An example I would like to highlight is my request for set up of a floral arrangement in the bathtub, he claimed that they’ve never done this for other guests before, but he found a way and did it for us. His service is what will make us stay at Agaru during our next trip to Bali.

The sign of the resort is hard to spot at night so maybe add light fixtures around so it’ll be easier to locate.

Nothing walkable but easy to get a bike

If you’re a girl and travel alone, this hotel might not suite you because the way to the hotel at night is pretty dark and no light for some part. It’s better if you have your friends with you :)

The room was beautiful,clean and spacious. We also enjoyed the lovely pool and we attended a free morning yoga session. All in all, we had a great experience.

The only downside was the location as you need transport to get somewhere to eat/shop etc but most of Uluwatu is quite unwalkable in my opinion and the taxis are super cheap so it wasn't really a problem. The owner also said the construction that was going on was to build a restaurant to add to the hotel which I think is a great idea and would help.

Room and bathroom are good sizes. Pool is great. The stag are very friendly and helpful. Scooters to rent. Water/tea/coffee provided in the room. 10/15 mins away from restaurants etc.

The two properties I stayed in prior to this one has mosquito nets and the bites were at a minimum, unfortunately no net in the room and I felt a difference however my partner didn’t get much so depends on the person I suppose. There’s still construction going on, didn’t affect noise levels or anything like that but just something to note. There’s no bar/restaurant on site. Neither of these points would deter me from staying again, especially when construction is finished - it will be great.

Excellent location, close by Savaya and Sundays beach club. You need to rent a scooter / call Grab (local taxi) to go around. No restaurants nearby, however it’s easy to order food through Grab or goJack apps. Banana trees everywhere around, the pool is clean and quite large. I loved the receptuon staff 😘😘😘 super helpful with booking us trips to Temple, rent scooters, taxis etc.

wished we had more sunbeds by the pool. There were only 4 of them to 7 villas. I loved the quietness of the place and the fact that you could hear the cows mooing was quite cute, sometimes the smell was too strong though…

This property is a hidden gem! It’s stand alone rooms are seated back in the midst of lush greenery and natural vegetation (eg banana plants). It is serene and peaceful; the perfect oasis from busier nearby areas like downtown Uluwatu. Kadek and his team have done a wonderful job landscaping and designing each individual bungalow, which looked exactly like the pictures. Wi-Fi was strong and more than anything, Kadek and his team were so helpful. They helped with anything we needed, be it towels, restaurant recs, getting a car. Their help and kindness was much appreciated! The one thing to note is that the property does not yet have a restaurant (under construction). BUT, we found it fun to grab a motorbike (using the app “Grab”) to go to nearby Nourish for breakfast and tended to be at beach clubs like Sundays (which is nearby and I highly recommend checking out). We found the property to be a beautiful oasis and very well priced. As such, the lack of a restaurant didn’t bother us too much, though I think it will be a huge bonus when completed. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

Kadek was very friendly and helpful, the scooter we rented from him was in great condition, the bungalows are nice and clean and comfortable, the pool is lovely and the surroundings quite serene and peaceful. We were very pleasantly surprised by the place and after 5 nights, we didn't want to leave.

The only (minor) downside is the lack of restaurant in site, but you can easily and cheaply order food with Grab or rent a scooter. Not on a main road, so walking there can be tricky, but again, the scooter is easy.
